1/5Awful app and customer service
You can’t add a new apartment or change your card on the app you have to use the website. Having to do everything through the website is so bad and I had like 7 password errors even when I just changed my password. It wouldn’t register I had moved so I added a card, but it thought I was still at my old address or something and wouldn’t give me the codes. I had to call and they had to delete my old apartment for the system to realized I moved. I had to contact customer service multiple times and it took almost 2 weeks to get the issue resolved. Terrible experience, it’s so confusing and hard to set up if you move. I don’t understand why you can’t do half of the stuff using the app, it’s literally only works to give you codes you can’t update profile or anything else on the app. What a mess.

1/5Constant issues limit ability to retrieve my packages.
Several issues, all ongoing for weeks: One is that the app is logging me out several times weekly, if not daily. It then takes me through every onboarding screen and requires me to enter my password. Two is downtime. Often I open the app and it stays stuck on the login screen. I have force quit the app multiple times, deleted and re-downloaded the app again, and restarted my phone. Both issues continue. Today, for the second time in a few months, my package is being held hostage while I am prompted to add a credit card. ***I have a credit card added and it is valid; I know this because you recently charged me for a package I couldn’t get for a few days.*** And finally, I have been trying for about 1/2 hour to re-enter the credit card info Luxer already has and getting “502 bad gateway” errors, timeouts, and cannot log in. I am leaving to attend a funeral in a day and a half. Meanwhile Luxer is holding a package I need hostage…which honestly…is this not illegal in some way since there’s no option to opt out of Luxer? How is this not theft? You manage the handling of deliveries; they are personal property. Some may not be urgent packages, others are. You cannot have this much downtime and this many issues with a service that handles what are at times critical goods. Please: BE BETTER.

2/5A huge annoyance
The first time I used the app, I would have given this app 5 stars. Once I got logged in, I just hit buttons and doors swung open and there were my packages. That was the first day. So impressive. Every subsequent time it forces me to log in and requires I get a OTP (single use number) from my email. Every time! The thing is, my phone is locked. What is the purpose of making me log in EVERY TIME?!? Then after logging in every time it acts like I have never set preferences, so it makes me choose if I want notifications (the only reason I am in the app is that I got notifications!). But wait, there’s more! Then it makes me “turn on Bluetooth”. Bluetooth access is on! I’ve turned it on four times now for this exact screen. Guess what, it doesn’t need any of those permissions because they are already set. Don’t worry, there’s more! Now it keeps telling me to move closer so Bluetooth can connect. All in all, it take more time than punching in numbers or getting a key out of somewhere else. Honestly, I am not even sure what the purpose of this app is. I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max. It can’t be blamed on my phone. You could try to blame the equipment in the building for the Bluetooth stuff but you can’t blame that on the app constantly requiring me to log in again and not knowing that I already allowed notices and Bluetooth access. And even more to the point of how bad of an experience this has been, they tell you that you have only 30 seconds to retrieve the one time passcode. Luckily I used my iCloud account and have decent cell network access at that point, but that could easily fail for so many people. I am truly confused about how this app has such high ratings unless it is only a recent update that made this app so bad.

3/5Can’t Rate It Five Stars
I would love to rate the app 5 stars. But recently (maybe within the last few months to year) the app logs you out, and you have t log back in, complete the verification process, turn on notifications, and turn on bluetooth. And the app doesn’t make you do that every month or so…it’ll log you out even if you JUST had the app open. There’ve been plenty times when I’ll get an alert that a package was delivered, and I’ll open the app to see who the package is from. Then, when I IMMEDIATELY go to the lockers to retrieve my package, the app will have logged me out, and I have to stand there and complete the log-in/verification process all over again which is so annoying. I can understand being logged out after maybe a week or so of non-use. But kicking someone out of the app when they just used it minutes ago is wild! If not for that, the app would’ve been perfect.

2/5Privacy Goobledygook
The Luxor Package System itself (without app, with kiosks) has surprisingly worked exceptionally well, since it's inception. I would've thought more snags with the hardware opening/software, but no - quality storage lockers and opens fine 99% of time. However, I cannot force myself to use the convenience of App to open lockers etc. because of privacy concerns. To their credit, there's a disclosure when app asks for bluetooth access, something in their lang. about profiling and tracking device location. Also to their credit, there's an address to write to (snailmail) to obtain more about what they disclose. To their detriment - website says - " We do not sell data to third parties However we might, making available, transfer, communicate electronically, consumer’s personal information by the business to a business affiliated inclusive with a third party but not for monetary but for other valuable consideration." What "other valuable consideration"? I personally feel people/entities who take personal info are sell-you-out peeping toms. Just because everyone else does it, doesn't make it's right. Uninstalling App pronto and re-evaluating use of Luxor all together.
