  1. 1/5Terrible app

This app is absolutely terrible. My apt residence uses this app in addition to one other app to allow us to access different buildings, etc in the community. The only real use I have for this app is that it’s supposed to allow me to unlock my apt with the app. I have lived in this apt for over a year and have never got this to work. Worst part is that this is now the THIRD time that I’m not able to sign in at all as the app claims my email and phone are not associated with any account. For some reason my account seems to keep reverting to some random, incorrect phone number, I contact their customer support, they fix it, then I try to unlock my apt but that feature never works, then I forget about the app. But I tried to sign in again as I will actually need the feature to unlock my apt when going on vacation so I can give access to someone else, I wanted to see if the app can help with that but now for the third time I cannot log in, I’m sure they will tell me the same thing AGAIN, that I need my apt management to correct my phone number, for the third time for some reason. Basically this app is absolutely useless and I have no idea why my apt community continues to use this app.

  2. 1/5This app works may be half of the time to get access to apartment locks

An update to continue the rating of less than one star for this app. I attempted to login in order to gain access through a door for over five minutes. This app refused to load. This app really needs to be redesigned to function and not screw over people keeping them out of their apartment complex doors! My apartment complex moved to this app to gain access through apartment locks, maybe two or three months ago. I found the app regularly does not open locks or logs me out and I have to log back in, wasting minutes in order to gain access to my apartment complex. Have tried resetting the app three times, with no changes to the app failing to function properly. Strongly recommend never using this app if you have a chance to; avoid it! It is caused more frustrations getting through apartment locks, and I’m probably going to switch to a fob and avoid the headache of using this app if I can.

  3. 2/5Mid

Customer service is lacking severely. I live and work at a company that uses the app and fob system through them. We have been experiencing technical issues for 2 days. People are getting locked out of the garage, entrance to the building, amenities, etc. They told us it’s not an emergency because the app is back up. I explained the app is having an issue as well. They said they “forwarded” the issue to the emergency team. They have provided 0 tangible action items they are taking to resolve it. I haven’t receive an update without calling them. They refuse to let me speak to a supervisor and just give the run around saying they are looking into it. It should not take 2 days to hear from someone other than rep who can only tell me to replace 1000+ fobs which is grossly unreasonable to expect us to have that many replacement keys for a clearly technical issue on their part. The app is spotty at best and has issues every couple months which leads to folks being stuck outside the building at any hour of the night or day. They could at the very least spare a few minutes to have an in depth convo with paying customers, but apparently they have better things to do. If they took care of their customers I’d say it’s a decent app/system, but if you ever have an issue they are not very responsive and are quick to defer to blaming the other companies they integrate with.

  4. 1/5Absolutely terrible. Glitchy Garbage

I was forced to allow my building to install the app controlled, smart door, lock, and handle. They also installed smart door control pads all over my building. Most of the time you stand at a door for a really long time before the Bluetooth on your brand new phone finally picks it up. If you needed to be inside your place or inside the secured entry, you are standing in front of with any kind of urgency you would be out-of-luck. My partner phone decided it didn’t remember that he was a member of STRATIS and that he should have to reinstall the app in order to get into our apartment yesterday. It has been in less than a month and it is already a nightmare. To top it all off the one access point in the building that shows able to be accessed by Wi-Fi or cellular rather than having to be within Bluetooth range is to a door that doesn’t exist in a still under construction business center. Taunted constantly with the potential of this feature while not being able to access or allow other people access to any of the important entryways in the entire building unless you are physically within proximity. We have ButterflyMX installed, which they are threatening to remove soon where we will suddenly be plunged into complete codependence on STRATIS. A nightmare to be sure. Please uninstall it and take it back. Asa Residents - Portland

  5. 1/5I rarely write negative reviews

This app is an absolute waste of money and waste of time. I do not recommend it. When my apartment complex transitioned to this app, it made entering my apartment go from a simple task to an extremely frustrating complicated task. The app rarely activates what I’m at the door you end up having to troubleshoot the app, delete the app, re-download it, re-sign in, etc., etc. etc.. at the end of the day the removal of the key system was in my opinion one of the worst things that could’ve happened. Especially when I get home from a long trip and just wanna get into my apartment it takes me five to troubleshoot the app in order to gain access back into my apartment. That being said, my front door rarely locks when needed nor does it open when I needed to open. For three weeks I had to enter my in order to gain access. That’s the amount of time it took for my apartment complex and the app company to troubleshoot my I am a landlord, and if any of my tenants had an issue getting access into the property I would’ve had it fixed immediately. I find this repulsive and extremely irritating spend each month to live at the Royces in Irvine. I would highly recommend avoiding apartment complex complexes that use this app. Multiple explanations how to troubleshoot and or use this app which I find ridiculous. An app shouldn’t be this difficult to use. I shouldn’t have to re-download it re-login wait 5 to 10 minutes for a door to unlock. I should be able to enter my property to when I want to get in or out. I also find this to be a huge safety concern
