   This is a great app when it works, but Pizza Hut has more problems with their website/app (because the app just takes you to the site once you open it) than any website I’ve ever used. When you can get it to work, it’s great and easy and fast and you can get the best deals and/or use your rewards. However, over half of the time the website does not work! Links won’t connect, it’s slow, it keeps rebooting or logging you out of your account, it refuses to add your coupon codes/reward items, and/or won’t recognize the tabs needed to send site info. This is unacceptable when half of the deals or coupons and the reward program points can only be used when ordering online. So you either have to call in to order and not get the deal/reward purchases or you have to spend literally an hour or longer trying to use the site over and over again, until it finally works. This isn’t a recent issue, either. I’ve been dealing with this app/site for over a year now and it never gets better. In fact, it seems to be getting worse and more frequent over the last couple of months (which is why I’m finally adding this review). The issues are so bad and frequent now that over half of the time I just go somewhere else to spend my money, and Pizza Hut loses my family’s purchase (I’m sure I’m not the only sales they’re losing lately, either). It’s absurd that they continue to allow their website/app to have so many issues without obtaining a tech support service to help them quickly fix the problems and get their site back up, or even better yet, just trash the whole site and redo it. Its completely infuriating!

2. 4/5App just as bad as customer service

   The app, the website, and the customer service are just so bottom of the barrel that it’s not even worth my time listing the dozens of items they couldn’t fix, wouldn’t fix, couldn’t explain, all with a very poor attitude that shows the customers do not come first when it comes to Pizza Hut. We have been ordering big ticket orders from them for over 14 years, but we will never ever order from Hut again after the way we were treated on the phone today by a representative “Craig”who even refused to give us a supervisor because he wasn’t able to fix the problem Because it was either too lazy or didn’t know how and was fearful of asking his supervisor and pretended he did, and came back and told us the supervisor agrees with him and I’m not going to get to speak to one! It boggles the mind how you could go to a location, order, putting your phone number, your name is on the receipt and everything else, yet the order does not show up in your account but they refuse to input the order manually because on the same date another order went through at a wrong location (their fault!) and was canceled, and they had to credit the points because their system is so messed up, yet the points do not show on my end and they refuse to credit me. It was one of those conversations where they tried to double talk you to death until you get sick of them, well I’m sick of them AND the Hut alright. Everything is just so poor, we are headed elsewhere and we’re taking our dollars with us. This app really, really captures the tone and tenure of the treatment you get at the hut, so buyer beware.

3. 2/5Updated app came out with bugs

   The previous version had some issues but they weren’t much of a problem and could be worked around. The new user interface seems a little clunky and there are a couple of problems that caused me to have to do some troubleshooting. First, user interface is a step by step procedure that, while it gets the job done theoretically, it seems like it could be refined to speed the process. The first problem I had was with the crust flavor section. I honestly don’t remember getting the option to set the flavor the first time I tried to set up my pizza. I went through the rest of the process thinking they were going to ask later but it never came up. Then I couldn’t find a way to edit the fact it had “no flavor” on the crust in the end and I had to start all over. When I got back to the beginning, I saw the crust flavor section and when I tried to tap on “no flavor”, it just moved to the pizza sauce section. I got frustrated and just ended up selecting a pizza I had bought previously. The next problem was in the payment section. First I couldn’t find the Visa checkout option and I wish there was an Apple Pay option but as I entered my credit card info and tapped the button, it notified me I forgot to fill out my name. No problem, I filled out my name then it tells me to fill out the credit card number. The number was already filled out. I checked it against my credit card and ended up just refilling the same number again and it worked.

4. 4/5The location that you deliver from is terrible

   So sick of getting cold 3 hour old pizza, I just wanted to use the app to complain because of the terrible store that this app sends me to. Every time I get delivery from this location it takes at least 2 hours to receive and the food is cold. I am a business owner of a Tax office and I use Pizza Hut for my business twice a week during tax season for an average of $50 dollars per order and the one close to my office in West Hollywood always has great service and excellent food, but the location that delivers to my house is the worst. I’m rethinking my loyalties. Can you please help your locations with uniformity. I am sick of having to get carry out from a different location just to get good food. Just to let you know I have loved Pizza Hut for the past 35 plus years ever since I remember my parents taking me there for family dinner when I was a child(no matter what location the food was always great). Please do something about this, it’s disheartening that the last time I ordered from this app I had to call 5 times and they gave me the runaround while I stayed courteous and understanding to the staff to receive terrible old food. Just to let you know, when I opened the Pizza Hut app to order, I closed it remembering what has constantly happened while ordering from home and decided to order delivery from your competitor Papa Johns even though I prefer your stuffed crust pizza and wings. Please do something about this, I don’t write negative letters but I am very frustrated, please track my older orders to track what the exact location has been delivering subpar food and let the franchise owner correct this.

5. 1/5Order never ready

   Man I want to cancel this order since I waited 15 min before going to the store, and then they said they have a new system, and don’t have my order yet or any orders on the screen. I drove back home asking them to call me when it’s ready. They wanted me to wait in store another 15-20 min for my order that they didn’t receive. Didn’t ask what the order was but had a stack of cash at the counter looking like they were just getting to the store to open it. Although there were no orders there was someone in the back making someone’s order.. maybe that was just for himself? I wasn’t even going to order pizza but today but Dominoes was supposed to also be open at 10:30 but was not open. I spend a lot of money on pizza on a regular basis but I am ready to reconsider all that since .. 1 “. I can’t ever get my order on time. They always say 15 min but … it’s never ready until about 30 min or more, 2. The options or more page never has enough characters to leave a request like cut in squares and put the cheese on top of the toppings please. I always tip even though I am picking up the pizza and I am sure these people are being paid hourly.. plus tips? For checking people out who pick up their own food.? I expect my pizza to be done and done right but I hardly ever have cheese on top of the toppings , I always get 2/4 boneless chicken wings that look like a piece of breading with hardly any meat. As you can tell I am super fed up with Pizza Hut

   Why can't we just log into our account and stay logged in? How come every time you open the app you have to have a code sent to either your phone or your email? a lot of the times that damn system doesn't work and it may take 20 minutes for the code to show up, which by that time the code is no longer valid. It's a ridiculous feature of the app. I shouldn't have to get a code sent to me just to get into the app every single time Even if I'm not purchasing anything at that exact moment.

   I dare you to try & redeem the 20 dollars the app says you earned & to welcome you to the app after you place an order! I was scammed, fruaded & had to cancel my bank card, wait for new one. battle bank for my own money back. Some scam takes 20 out of your account instead of giving you 20 like the app says! recurring charges monthly! They had it set up to take 20 from me for no services or food! I've been eating pizza hut for a very long time & am not happy! I filed charges against this app! 👎
