   The app is great. You can see all your transactions you can set up your account. They should’ve had this long time ago cause before that was a really antiquated system invoicing by mail and even if you had a transponder, it was ridiculous to try to pay bills or even get through to this office with this app, it’s hassle free.

2. 1/5Horrible customer service

   The app works fine for as a little as I use it. It can be clunky and hard to find the correct page. My biggest complaint is that I was lied to by one of their customer service reps. We were making a trip through NC and did not have our pass yet, but I called well before we got to the tiles to double check to see if we had to have the pass, or if an account linked to our license plate was adequate. I was told that we would be fine as long as we marked on the app that we were going to be traveling on the HOV lanes with a high occupancy vehicle. They charged us for all the toll crossings with the note on the chafe stating low occupancy. I disputed the charges and had to make several phone calls and was finally told that it doesn’t matter what I was told, I had to have the decal in place. It was very frustrating and the the customer service reps very very unhelpful. The last one never called me back. This is not a good way to run any business. I wish I could give zero stars.

3. 1/5The DMV had a baby and named it NC Quick Pass

   Using this app is like going back in time to 1997, but with more glitches and fewer helpful humans. It’s the perfect fusion of government efficiency and dial-up internet. Want to log in? Good luck—every time you try to do anything the error message “internal error” appears and you are stuck. Much like all government endeavors you are left feeling empty inside and wonder if they are gaslighting you into thinking you are the one with an internal error. Want to update your plate? “Internal error”. I’ve tried contacting them with no help I’m starting to consider using a carrier pigeon, maybe that will get their attention since this modern age seems to be too complicated for the person running the app who probably trained on turbo pascal. This isn’t a toll system—it’s a passive-aggressive pen pal program run by robots who are in dire need of retirement. We frequently travel with 5 people in the car (wife and 3 kids) and the number of tolls they have given me for “low occupancy” is absurd. I was starting to worry my life was following Russel Crow in a beautiful mind. If NC Quick Pass were any slower, it would be a parking pass.

4. 1/5Completely nonfunctional

   App has been completely nonfunctional since this week’s update. Internal Server Error on every screen. Nothing loads. Ironic and unfortunate this happens on a busy travel weekend, esp since an issue like this works in their favor since they can then take our money at a higher rate. Following week update: After deleting and reinstalling the app, it worked briefly. Today the same issue returned. We ended up being charged for numerous tolls because of this. Customer service refuses to provide even a partial refund, despite acknowledging the issue with the app. Looking at recent reviews it seems numerous others are having the same issue. They instead say I should have looked up their number while driving and call them to get registered for the toll lanes. Completely unreasonable as well as dangerous. June 11 update: All the errors persist. Good thing it’s way too easy for a customer to just refuse the charges via their credit card merchant (hint hint to all those getting hosed by these crooks). All the fake 5-star reviews are amusing at least.

5. 4/5Two Accounts Into One

   This app works well with one exception. I need to move a vehicle from one account to another where our other vehicle is. The app says we need to have a zero balance before it can be moved. The vehicle and account are at ZERO, but will not allow me to move to one account. I’ll have to contact tech support to find the way to make the move to one account. Other than this the app appears to work ok.
