  1. 5/5Amazing BUT…

Everything with this app is great Until you can’t login due to “Too Many Devices” Even though the account is under your phone number but possibly the app has registered Your device as new device with each login. Causing you to lose your cats passes that were paid for in advance. App needs a feature where you can removed unwanted devices. Or keep wanted devices.

  2. 4/5Big step forward, still needs improvement

I was able to go from downloading the app to buying a ticket in about a two-block walk, which was a huge win. (One signup annoyance - give me the option to verify via text instead of email.) For the most part, it was easy, intuitive, & seamless. But several other aspects of the app are confusing or frustrating in ways that make me wonder if design & dev teams ever spoke to or shadowed users about what they’re trying to accomplish (apart from purchasing tickets) in the app when it comes to planning or exploring the system, or what kinds of questions they have as they’re using the app. I love that bike routes are part of the route planning options, and I hope to see related functionality grow over time. Overall, the app did what I downloaded it to do - I was able to easily purchase a ticket and see real-time arrival/departure times. But it left me confused or disappointed at a few points along the way.

  3. 1/5CATS is pretty terrible.

Born and raised in the Queen City since 1996. Used to loved using the public transportation when I was a bit younger, but now they don’t seem to stand up for any positive change for the community that relies on public transportation. I have never seen people more unprofessional in my life to be quite fair. I get that drivers are just trying to work their 9-5 at this point, but what happend to people who work with the public having good morals and integrity. What’s even more sad is to watch our people treat our own like we are nothing. I understand people in the city are not easy to deal with, but that goes back to CATS lack of training for their employees pertaining to dealing with people in the public. I’ve been using CATS many years and I’m finally glad that I recently was able to switch to a new job location and I no longer have to use CATS anymore.

  4. 2/5They need to have notifications.

They really need to have notifications, I understand not having a set time because every stop is different, but literally one time the bus will be 10 minutes late and another time will be 5 minutes early and I just missed the bus twice and may end up missing work because of it. I HATE the bus, I can’t say it enough. I guess I just have to wait 30 minutes regardless. Edited- the bus routes still are never accurate which is understandable. But most of all, 90 percent of the bus drivers I meet are always grumpy and have an attitude with anything that is said, weather it’s me or someone else. The experiences I’ve had with the bus makes me want to pay an extra 10 dollars for an Uber, it’s ALWAYS something with these bus drivers.

  5. 1/5Cats monthly pass not activating when I try to activate

I purchased a monthly pass on Friday 21 of November and I am now trying to activate my pass on 23 of November and my pass is not activating. When I slide to activate monthly pass it thinks then goes back to slide to activate. The app even logged me out 4 times and because I also tried to log in on my second phone to get around the issue. Now it say device limit reached I even connected to stronger WiFi and the issue has not been resolved. Im afraid I might have to pay money for a bus pass when I have an unlimited pass and I don’t have much money I did send a review about it to the app but I don’t know what to do and can’t find no help for my situation
