1/5Buggy
For starters, if you use PayPal to check out, you cannot do that on the app. You can only use the website. Second, half the items that are in the store are not in the app or on the website. It is not updated very regularly. Third, if you are shopping on the app, and add a substitution or add a note to an item, and then go to the website to complete your purchase as I have to because of the whole PayPal issue mentioned above, those notes and substitutions are gone. You have to add them all over again. Fourth, if you have multiple store coupons, like the $10 off $50 and then a brown bag coupon where you get five dollars off for spending $20 or you get $4.95 off getting so much pick and prep, some of those coupons will drop off after you’ve paid and checked out. You won’t notice it until you pick up your order and your receipt is $10-$15 higher than the original order. Headquarters knows about this and it has still not been fixed. I constantly have to call the store to get credits and refunds. The store is sick of hearing from me I’m sick of calling them. It’s not the store’s fault. Fifth, items just randomly disappear out of the shopping cart. I take screenshots as I am doing my order now so I can compare them with what’s in the cart right before I check out and there’s always some thing that was there and when I check out it’s gone. So I have to add it once again. this is some thing I have mentioned to the store on numerous occasions, apparently headquarters doesn’t care. Lastly, many many many many many items have the wrong picture for the item listed. You could have a bottle of ketchup with a picture of a cantaloupe. A lot of items don’t have photos and have never been updated months later. At one point, I was sending them the pertinent information… essentially doing their job, and finally I said enough is enough. Due to a disability, I have to shop online. I don’t have the luxury of shopping in the store. Lowes is making it a miserable experience. If Publix in my area had grocery pick up, I would go there, but they don’t.

5/5Lowes Foods to Go- new app
The new app has made my shopping experience online and in store more efficient! I love that I can build a shopping list for in store shopping and it says exactly what aisle the item is on. This saves so much time! I also love the barcode feature, so when I’m out of an item I can scan it quickly before I toss the container and it’s in my cart. Each item is also easier to add, delete, or write a note than the old app. I like how the notes are not saved from each purchase because I used to forget that I had a note in something that was usually a one time need. The personal shoppers who make my orders happen are the best! No other grocer is this personalized and calls you to discuss any out of stock items and suggest alternatives. I love knowing that my shopper is an employee of the store who meets the Lowes standards vs. having no idea who my shopper is with other grocery fulfillment. I don’t know any other grocer who goes to the level of personalization and care for each order than Lowes Foods to go.

1/5Now they want tips on top of high fees!
I have a subscription which was expensive and is supposed to cover one of the high fees on each order. I still get another $10 in fees that I pay for each delivery. Now the app is asking me to tip my delivery service for each order on top of all these extra fees and the cost of my subscription. I refuse! Pay your employees and stop being so greedy that you pass it on to your customers who are already paying a lot for this mediocre service! I’m already upset that I frequently get expired food, dented cans and your delivery people txt me asking to deliver my order at times outside my specified time slot. I have also had perishable food left outside of the delivery time and had to throw the food away! It’s insulting that you would ask for more money.

1/5No Landscape Mode Makes App Useless on iPad w/ Keyboard Case
I got this app because I am now required to clip coupons before I go to the store, even with my rewards card. I do this at my desk while I make my grocery list, or I can no longer use rewards. Finally got your notoriously buggy app, but it seems to be only for a phone, portrait mode, because it reads sideways on my iPad: unusable. My 2016 SE phone is only 16G and has no room for apps (makes calls and takes photos). Guess I’ll have to shop only at Harris Teeter because they get this. Do better, please. Customer service was no help when I reported this glitch; rewards customer for 8 plus years.

2/5PLEASE
Your app on an iPad feels like trying to type a novel on a flip phone. Hey Lowe’s I appreciate your app and its functionality, but I’ve noticed a major gap—it doesn’t support iPad native landscape mode. This significantly limits usability, especially for those who rely on tablets for productivity or accessibility. Are there any plans to address this in a future update? Your competitors (yes a new Walmart 1 mile from your Little River location) are popping up like weeds around here. It seriously may be the determining factor between you or another. My iPad Pro is my gateway to commerce, not wanting to flip it vertically isn’t lazy, it’s keeping the canvas of life in perspective. YOU CAN DO IT 4.25 as soon as I see this rendered. (Off the record, invest in a kiosk(s) near the entrance vestibule to order cold cuts. OR ONLINE ORDERING like the big P which is moving in even closer to my currently favorite store.)
