1. 3/5Love ingles, but the app needs work.

   I go out of my way to shop at an American owned store. I love ingles. But the app is not living up to its potential. The search functions seem incapable of hitting key words. I searched French onion soup and got lots of results but not the Campbells one I needed. Then I searched Campbell and Campbells French onion soup was in the results. On my iPhone, the app won’t let my phone auto populate my card information for payment. I have to manually enter my card information, name, address, etc. Not the end of the world but time consuming and inconvenient, not to mention that typos mean I have to do it 2 or 3 times sometimes, even more time consuming and completely unnecessary. I’m an app dev so if you’re looking for a good remote worker to fix some of this for you, give me a call.

2. 3/5Needs an update

   Love putting in orders for pickup! However the app definitely needs an update. The app needs to be able to store card information so you do not need to get your card out for every purchase. I order groceries twice a week and it is so inconvenient to have to run and get my card every time to place an order. Or you should atleast be able to pay with Apple Pay. If you put in your card info and realize you forgot something and you leave the cart, when you come back it will ask you to type all of that information again. Or if the app crashes which has happened a few times to me. So you may need to put in your information multiple times just for 1 order.

3. 5/5Great Customer Service!

   I have an injured foot and needed to make use of the Ingle’s offer to shop for you at no charge for the first time in all the years I have been going to Ingles. Spoke on the phone with a customer service representative, Alicia, who directed me to the cart symbol on my mobile app. Once I had the confidence of her help of where to start I added items to my cart and then was able to put a card on file and check out with the instruction that I would be there for Curbside at the time that they offered and I accepted. Great process! I was even able to use their scan to identify shopping list items by using my phone and scanning existing items that I’ve bought from Ingles that were on hand, but getting empty. A great experience!

4. 5/5Great Experience, but Hoping for Tech Upgrades

   I’ve been a loyal Ingles customer for years and continue to be impressed by the consistently high-quality products, the cleanliness of the stores, and the truly outstanding customer service. It’s clear that Ingles puts its customers first, and that’s why I keep coming back. That said, I’d love to see Ingles invest more in its digital experience—particularly the app and checkout technology. One specific improvement I’d like to see is the ability to add my Ingles Advantage Card to the Apple Wallet. This small change would make checkout even smoother and more convenient, especially for those of us who prefer to keep everything in one place on our phones. Additionally, I’ve had recurring issues at the checkout registers where entering my phone number doesn’t reliably bring up my loyalty account. While this doesn’t take away from the great in-store experience, it can be a bit frustrating. I love shopping at Ingles and am incredibly grateful for the experience they provide. With a few technology upgrades, the digital side of things could match the excellence already happening in-store.

5. 5/5Difficult to enter pmt info

   Hard to enter payment info, if number is wrong you need to re-do your entire name etc. for some reason it did not like my number so I had to input all my personal info 4 x. Also, no place to put your ingles card number on the app. I previously did curbside so no idea if this info was saved or what. Search did not work well if you used a brand name, search needs some help as looking through a lot of soups in no fun when you know they only have 3 of the brand you like. But I amimpressed with the fact you have inventory on there. Hard to tell if tuna in water or oil without. Opening which is tedious
