   I absolutely love the Denny’s App! My schedule is getting really busy right now between the holidays and getting everything wrapped up for the end of the year. I always have a long list of things to do, and sometimes preparing and making a meal can become a bit of a large task in my day. I downloaded the Denny’s on demand app on my phone and I ordered dinner and had it delivered straight to my doorstep. The process for creating an account was simple and the delivery process is always on point. The Streamlined Ordering Experience makes for a quick and seamless ordering and check-out experience. I received text messages from Denny’s app while my food was being delivered updating me on the estimated time of delivery for my food. The food was amazing and I had absolutely no complaints.

2. 1/5Horrible UX

   The design of this app makes it nearly impossible to order food. As a young adult I have literally never struggled to order food through an app in my entire life until tonight. I hope whoever designed this app burns popcorn in their microwave and never gets the smell out of their home. The menu pages are finicky and glitchy at best and it is impossible to input information at the checkout screen as the app will zoom you in automatically when you’re putting in your info and when you’re done and ready to zoom out it will kick you out back into the menu page. I have tried using Apple Pay but it doesn’t work even with my correct card information it will tell me that I cannot place an order at this time. This error would be understandable if the restaurant I was ordering at was no longer taking orders, however, other food ordering apps would notify you of this ahead of time. It’s almost as if this app had not been updated since the dawn of food service apps. I love Denny’s food so I can only hope that this fossil of an app can fixed and function at the same level if not better than other food ordering and rewards program apps.

3. 1/5Bugged and unintuitive navigation, no search option, missing menu items. Badly designed app

   There is no search option! And it is missing my favorite dish which is actually available at the restaurant, The crazy Spicy skillet. It is the only thing I order. so i can’t use the app and pick it up. I have to order in person, then wait for it or call the number in advance. When i try to start an order and browse into a sub menu like signature breakfasts, there is no arrow in the UI to go back. If i gesture back in iOS, it goes back TWO steps instead of one, to the restaurant address selection. I have to start my order over again. I can’t check out breakfasts and then drinks. I have to choose the restaurant again before i can look at drinks. Which often i forgot which location i looked up and wanted to go to. Navigation within the app is hard, unintuitive and buggy. But other than that, it seems like it would work, if it had what i wanted to order. The developers need to figure out a way to add all the menu items, a search bar, and make going back only one step instead of two for potentially 5 stars. Add checkout options with things like paypal.

4. 4/5Shiny bright 24 hour location w/ a great and friendly staff!

   I've been in about a half dozen times since it's one of the only places open late late. And I enjoy the wee hours. Nice - all that quiet. This place opened like very recently. Maybe 1 month since opening. It's quite good breakfast food, yummy pancakes. I do no just okt recomment the pot roast - it's just weird when you can't cut a carrot - i think it comes from a frozen veg that hasn't thawed all the way and then gets flash cooked. Strange consistency, Toothsome but not in a pleasant way. The server said he could take it off the bill, so that was easy because I just gave the feedbak, and he offered straiht up. Pumpkin pie (first of the season) was just ok. Nations does a better one - similar price point and venue. Friendly, inviting. And the service has been very good to excellent each time. It is the nicest and cleanest Denny's that I have ever been into. Thanks to all who work there for your friendly hospitality!!

5. 5/5The absolute best service I've ever had at a restaurant, EVER!

   Since the 1st time my husband & I visited the Denny's on Fruitvale Blvd in Yakima Wa, I look forward to receiving the upmost quality & thorough service from our now favorite waitress we've ever had! Christina T. is absolutely amazing! We have had other wait staff at the same location & had unfortunate disappointing service. So I literally come in as much as possible ( and pretty much exclusively) on the days Christina is working! Hands down, I can't rave about her enough ! While waiting on my to-go order, I've witnessed several other guests also raving about how she is their favorite as well! She deserves a raise! She is a very valuable asset to any restaurant, Denny's just so happens to have a real gem!
