1. 1/5The Worst Travel Experience of Any Kind Possible

   I wish I could give negative stars. Honestly, if every airline was like Vietjet, I would just walk everywhere instead of flying, or buy myself a rowboat. It might even take less time to get a pilots license and fly yourself than board their flight. We showed up 3 hours early for an international flight to Indonesia. We waited in line to check our bags in for an hour and a half, the employee at the gate made us throw away some shoes??? Because they didn’t fit a regulation he couldn’t even show us. We then waited at the gate for a flight that was delayed 2 hours, with a snack bar that charged 4 dollars for instant noodles and 4 dollars for a bottle of water. On the plane, water costs 4 dollars for 250 mL, the flight attendants yell at you for trying to use the bathroom (perhaps the most confusing part of the day), the flight smells like something died in the plane and they just left it there to rot, and it’s HOT, so the smell and heat create a steamy heated cesspool of stench that is suffocating. Additionally, I think they are stealing credit card information, as myself and people I know who have flown this airline get notifications that there has been a breach of card information after flights with them. I hope this company goes under. It’s absolutely worth flying with anyone else but VietJet, avoid these guys like the plague.

2. 1/5Is “Enjoy Flying” ironic?

   Terrible app for a terrible airline. The app won’t load, the flights are all delayed, the seats are uncomfortable and they’re always short staffed. Our flight leaves in 5 minutes, the app won’t load, and we’re still at the gate. The system could not find my reservation but asked me to preorder food or choose my seats. It sends me notifications in Vietnamese when I already put English in as my language. There are never any employees around to ask about flight status because the app won’t tell us. The only enjoyable thing about this app will be the relief I feel when I delete it after my last vietjet flight, which will likely be delayed.

3. 1/5The most making money airline!

   Bad customer service, bad communication skill, oppressing adolescents, trying to charge money with whatever they can! They allow me to go through the check-in counter with my baggages after discussion but then try to charge me again when going through the gate. I said I’m under 18 and go alone and asked them to talk with my parents for support but they all refused (I dont have enough cash with me). 3,4 people constantly asked for money, and I thought they dont know how to communicate properly with customers (especially adolescents like me). I think I’ve suffered from serious mental damage. Never again!

4. 5/5UI and UX designer, what?

   There’s no reason an app in the era of AI should look and function this poorly. The font is horrible and unprofessional for any company, the design is old, crusty, and reminds me of a dysfunctional 1990s tumblr page. If there’s anything Vietnam needs to copy from its neighbors for development it cannot be airline apps… Air service was incredible. Holy moly. You guys actually beat out American low cost carriers. Your app is still really, really rough. But, airline? A+++. Will fly again.

5. 1/5THE WORST AIRLINE EVER!!

   I flew in October from Narita to Hanoi on Viet Jet on an Airbus aircraft. The awful service starts at the check in counter and continues with the inflight service. Starting with check in you have to pay cash for everything. Once on board if you want anything to drink from water to tea you have to pay cash. I have been flying commercial all over the world for 50 years and this absolutely the worst carrier on the planet! Avoid this airline like the plague! The seating is cramped and I will not even comment how awful the food is especially since you have to pay for it!
