So glad I found Vetster. My older dog hates going into any Vet office. He pulls hard on his leash and I was afraid he’d injure his leg leg after ACL surgery. For over a year we’ve had to pick him up and he’s 72 lbs of fighting Dalmatian. My daughter left to law school and I’m unable to pick him up alone. So when I saw Vetster online, I thought I would give it a try. Easy log in for appointments. My veterinarian at Vetster is Dr. Cruzen and he’s helped my dog’s senior days be the best possible. Dr. Cruzen prescribed the proper medications and he explained the benefits of each as well as potential side effects. My dog’s anxiety has decreased and any discomfort from his stenosis of the spine is under control. In fact, I don’t think it hurts, he just walks crookedly. Medications can be sent to your home or pharmacy. If you have a question or concern, you can reach out to a vet tech immediately. I cannot believe how well Vetster is run and how helpful everyone has been. They have a strong team of professionals. Another thing, my dog does not like anyone taking his temperature or being put on a large metal platform to be weighed. In -office veterinary visits are required to do these regardless of the reason for visit. My dog, Harvard, would become extremely anxious and fearful. I didn’t want to do this to him anymore. I highly recommend Vetster.

After purchasing the yearly subscription I have been pleased to know there is my Vet available, Michelle Lapera has been an Angel She has addressed so many concerns as they appear, She takes time to explain ailments, what to use, how to administer, what to watch out for, out three phone calls are mostly trying different things to treat dogs ear infections that seem ruthless, now an allergic reaction-I am more at ease when our call is done, let me add the only thing I would change about Vester, is the 48hours you have to communicate how the medication is working or any other concerns, it should have where the doctor has a message board, because sometimes it takes medication 4-6 days to arrive, to administer and to see any changes. But I like the doctor She is very helpful, professional with advice, pleasant to talk to...

1/5Unconscionable Price Gauging
My dog had diarrhea while traveling and I had spent two nights getting up every two hours. He’s a very healthy young dog so I knew I probably just needed some meds. Talked with a vet. She basically confirmed he was fine and just needed som meds to calm his tummy and stop the diarrhea. She said I would get a visit summary and I could have the meds mailed to my hotel. I waited all day for the visit summary and a confirmation that meds are on the way. Fed him chicken and rice as I had been to help make the situation better. But he started having diarrhea again late at night. Headed to the ER to get meds. Took 15 minutes and another $300 (on top of the $100 I paid on vetster). Got the meds and my dog and I finally got some sleep. Next morning I finally get the visit summary and the prescription for the meds. Turns out that the same “prescription meds” are available at many different stores around the country for $29 when this vetster vet wanted to charge me $90 some bucks for the EXACT same medication…same exact packing, same exact ingredients, same exact strength. WOW…I know vet care is a business but come on. This is just not right! $102 for a 10-15 minute call with a vet that helped me zero and then had to wait 24 hours to get a script I didn’t even need. I would rather pay more to see an emergency vet and get help right away and get some sleep for me and my lovely doggo 😊🙏🏻

1/5Never order from their pharmacy!
I got the Vetster app and signed up for a one year subscription because my pet was ill and needed a prescription ASAP. After my appointment, I ordered the prescription through the Vester app, which promised delivery within three days. Tracking showed they generated a shipping label quickly, but four days later had not even delivered the medication to USPS for shipment! I got in touch with support, and they told me it was due to weather conditions, which sounds like BS since the item had not even been brought to USPS. but anyway, no harm no foul if they made it right. They sent my prescription to a local pharmacy, which was fine. But they refuse to refund the prescription that has not shipped! They say the reason is the pharmacy they farm out to does not accept any returns. This is ridiculous as medications are time sensitive, and at very least I should have been informed of the delay and given the chance to order somewhere faster. At this point, the new estimate for the medication to arrive is nine days! Their answer is that I should just “donate it.” Totally fine if they want to make a donation, but this is their error and they should not be doing it on my dime. TLDR: never order from their pharmacy because they don’t accept returns even when there is an error on their end! Order from chewy, they are the best! Or if you need local, go to Costco! Just not Vetster!

Every time I have had to use this app, it has only caused more issues than I started with. I have a farm with many farm animals in the country, hours away from the nearest exotic vet who can diagnose a common and simple issue. Issues farmers used to be able to diagnose and treat, hassle free, on their own. I got this app because for the price of it (which still isn’t cheap), as well as considering the diversity of animals and potential health concerns, it may be worth it, rather than to pay hundreds of dollars each time an exotic, travel vet, needs to visit (on top of added prescription costs). I’ve only consulted on the Vetster app with advertised exotic vets who “have experience” with the animals I have needed help and a simple prescription for, and for some reason, I was promised a prescription that would help my animals’ situation on the call before being told, “call an exotic vet to come check that out.” After the call, I was prescribed something completely different that doesn’t meet the needs, or realistic expectations of my animals. Make it make sense, please! It’s unrealistic for a self sustainable farm to pay outrageous costs for an animal that they’re already not monetarily making much, if anything from. Farmers used to have the right to be able to diagnose their livestock problems and go straight to their local tractor supply to get what is needed for less time and money, without needing the say of said “qualified veterinarians” like the ones on this app. It’s not rocket science, but apparently for these Vetster veterinarians, it is 👎

          "body": "My dog had diarrhea while traveling and I had spent two nights getting up every two hours. He’s a very healthy young dog so I knew I probably just needed some meds. Talked with a vet. She basically confirmed he was fine and just needed som meds to calm his tummy and stop the diarrhea. She said I would get a visit summary and I could have the meds mailed to my hotel. I waited all day for the visit summary and a confirmation that meds are on the way. Fed him chicken and rice as I had been to help make the situation better. But he started having diarrhea again late at night. Headed to the ER to get meds. Took 15 minutes and another $300 (on top of the $100 I paid on vetster). Got the meds and my dog and I finally got some sleep. Next morning I finally get the visit summary and the prescription for the meds. Turns out that the same “prescription meds” are available at many different stores around the country for $29 when this vetster vet wanted to charge me $90 some bucks for the EXACT same medication…same exact packing, same exact ingredients, same exact strength. WOW…I know vet care is a business but come on. This is just not right! $102 for a 10-15 minute call with a vet that helped me zero and then had to wait 24 hours to get a script I didn’t even need. I would rather pay more to see an emergency vet and get help right away and get some sleep for me and my lovely doggo 😊🙏🏻",

          "body": "I got the Vetster app and signed up for a one year subscription because my pet was ill and needed a prescription ASAP. After my appointment, I ordered the prescription through the Vester app, which promised delivery within three days. Tracking showed they generated a shipping label quickly, but four days later had not even delivered the medication to USPS for shipment! I got in touch with support, and they told me it was due to weather conditions, which sounds like BS since the item had not even been brought to USPS. but anyway, no harm no foul if they made it right. They sent my prescription to a local pharmacy, which was fine. But they refuse to refund the prescription that has not shipped! They say the reason is the pharmacy they farm out to does not accept any returns. This is ridiculous as medications are time sensitive, and at very least I should have been informed of the delay and given the chance to order somewhere faster. At this point, the new estimate for the medication to arrive is nine days! Their answer is that I should just “donate it.” Totally fine if they want to make a donation, but this is their error and they should not be doing it on my dime. TLDR: never order from their pharmacy because they don’t accept returns even when there is an error on their end! Order from chewy, they are the best! Or if you need local, go to Costco! Just not Vetster!",

          "body": "Every time I have had to use this app, it has only caused more issues than I started with. I have a farm with many farm animals in the country, hours away from the nearest exotic vet who can diagnose a common and simple issue. Issues farmers used to be able to diagnose and treat, hassle free, on their own. I got this app because for the price of it (which still isn’t cheap), as well as considering the diversity of animals and potential health concerns, it may be worth it, rather than to pay hundreds of dollars each time an exotic, travel vet, needs to visit (on top of added prescription costs). I’ve only consulted on the Vetster app with advertised exotic vets who “have experience” with the animals I have needed help and a simple prescription for, and for some reason, I was promised a prescription that would help my animals’ situation on the call before being told, “call an exotic vet to come check that out.” After the call, I was prescribed something completely different that doesn’t meet the needs, or realistic expectations of my animals. Make it make sense, please! It’s unrealistic for a self sustainable farm to pay outrageous costs for an animal that they’re already not monetarily making much, if anything from. Farmers used to have the right to be able to diagnose their livestock problems and go straight to their local tractor supply to get what is needed for less time and money, without needing the say of said “qualified veterinarians” like the ones on this app. It’s not rocket science, but apparently for these Vetster veterinarians, it is 👎",
