4/5Amazing Air Fryer
Omg when I say the best air fryer I’ve ever used! 🤩 So quiet so efficient and the fact that it can cook my pizza and a number of wings, chefs kiss 😮💨 Now if your a big family and love the Cornish Hens, this air fryer is not for you. But if you’re someone like my fiancé and I who loves wings, veggies, potatoes and pizza, and don’t have time to stand over a stove all day and night, this is for you! The game changer is the app with tasty recipes and presets on there. The only thing I can say that I wish Typhur incorporated is, the ability to start the air fryer from your phone, but maybe not having that feature is due to safety reasons, not sure. But other than that I wouldn’t recommend any other air fryer than Typhur 😊

5/5Love it!
This is our new favorite appliance. For the two of us, it’s nice to not have to heat up the stove to cook every day. I’ve used it to make things like chicken breasts, and nuggets, as well as appetizers, grilled cheese sandwiches, and twice baked potatoes. I’ve dehydrated peaches, and herbs from my garden. It cooks up bacon, perfectly. We’ve used it to reheat food many times, too. We also used it to make a frozen pizza which turned out nice and crispy. It’s easy to clean and looks great on my counter. I was afraid it would be too big, but it’s a lot shorter than my other toaster oven/air fryer combo and about the same width. I don’t love to use a lot of technology, but the app is really slick and easy to use.

3/5Great Airfryer, poor app delivery
The app is pretty annoying in my opinion. There are 2 heating elements (top and bottom), and 3 fan speeds. The actual machine has a bunch of “presets”, and it doesn’t tell you what any of that is. Some are the same cooking settings and just a different starting temp/time (air fry and reheat are the same element and fan speeds). The presets are customizable which is nice. If the factory settings don’t match up with the food they are trying to cook often times and you can then change it to fit your needs which is the case for most of the presets. In order to use more cooking modes and variations, the app has other presets, and often times the cooking settings I want to use are in the app due to medium and low fan speeds for specific elements that won’t require a preheat (some presets require preheating). At this point, I just want element selection, fan speeds, and temperature control at this point. It would ideally be on the airfryer, but it seems like it could easily be added to the app which would bump my review up one or two stars. I have to have to constantly look up which food gets which element and fan speeds. At minimum, the app should do a better job of pointing this out. There are some bugs that need fixed. When selecting an app based preset the temperature will start at 100F sometimes and freeze you out of temperature controls, and you have to back out and start over. I have the thermometer and when I set a target temperature in the app it doesn’t ever work right and is way off the target temperature. The probe displays the proper temperature the whole time, I set a target cook temperature, and it just decides to turn off way early in the app. New issue. When going to the FAQ in the app, select your product and try to search it takes me to a discontinued product I have and I cannot search the FAQ for the dome 2

5/5An Amazing addition to our Kitchen
After staying with my son and his family who owned a Typhur Dome 1 I became convinced I couldn’t live without one. Watching my teenage grandchildren be able to make healthy meals on their own before practices and games using the Typhur. It made me curious. I gave the Typhur a try during my stay and I came to love not only the convenience of it but also the incredibly delicious foods I was able to create. Bacon, salmon, chicken breasts, pizza, regular and French toast…no matter what I prepare, it is easier and tastier in a Typhur Dome Air Fryer! The self cleaning feature is a bonus. I highly recommend it to everyone. I use mine on a regular basis. Almost every day. It has completely changed my meal preparation. You will love it!

4/5Great Air Fryer, but Frustrating Recipe Restrictions in the App
I own the Typhur Sync Air Fryer and generally love the hardware itself. Using the integrated probe for recipes like the BBQ Baby Back Ribs and Roasted Lemon Herb Salmon was extremely easy, and the results were excellent. Unfortunately, the app experience is frustrating because of unnecessary software “gatekeeping” of recipes. Even though the Sync Air Fryer uses the same probe technology as the standalone Typhur wireless thermometer, the app blocks access to the “Wireless Thermometer” recipe category. For example, I wanted to cook Smoked Beef Ribs, but the app displayed a “No paired Probe Device” error — despite the probe being fully synced to the air fryer and actively reading temperatures correctly on the unit itself. There’s also a major inconsistency across the recipe libraries. Excluding recipes that truly require different hardware (such as Sous Vide Station recipes or oversized 12-inch pizza recipes), many recipes should still be available to Sync Air Fryer users as examples of what the device can cook. Examples include: • Wireless Thermometer recipes like Beef Wellington and Porchetta • Typhur Dome 2 recipes like Breaded Chicken Breast and Salmon Croquettes • Typhur Sync Oven recipes like Spiced Roasted Turkey Breast and Prime Rib If the food physically fits in the basket and uses compatible probe cooking logic, there’s no technical reason these recipes should be locked out. Typhur should allow all “probe-enabled” devices to access a unified probe recipe library. Until then, the “Sync” ecosystem feels artificially segmented and incomplete.
