1. 1/5Horrible Services!!

   Please don’t waste your money on this so called company. I had schedule multiple services trying to receive something better every time, (giving them a chance) and the disappointments we’re always! The reason that brought me to write this review is the lack of professionalism apart from the bad cleaning services plus they won’t refund your money back! All the managers I talked to are very rude and comment on their own “perspective”. To make the story short, I had schedule a premium which costs around 117 and added some other additional add-ons which was extra 46 dollars! Once the Lady completed the cleaning I got back to my apartment only to find there was no cleaning done other than the bathroom were scratch and left with water stains. I added to get my fridge done and it was not even touched! Have proof of all. I emailed customer service which takes like 24hrs to respond and then all they told me was to send pictures which I did, after the pictures were sent they got back to me saying that they had given a 25 credit into the account for future services. Like WHAT, do you think I will be getting another service, no thank you! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GARBAGE! just find a better day where you can clean yourself to be honest.

2. 1/5Scammers - Avoid

   They're nothing but scammers and filled with hidden fees. Recently got a spruce day cleaning. It had the option for them to get the keys from leasing office. I chose it as I was gonna be out of town for the day. On the day, I got a text saying that no one was at the leasing office. They wanted me to help them get in, but I'm out of town. Then they told me that either they can come back the next day or reschedule it when I'm back. I told them to come back next day. Then I get a text about this reschedule. I also get a notification from my credit card at the same time saying around $20 was charged by spruce. When I asked spruce what was it for, they said that they are sorry for any confusion but rescheduling comes with late fee. Then they just send me a faq page. They never mention it in previous texts because they're trying to scam me out of as much money as possible. I read the faq. It said if no one is at the leasing office, they can work with the user to resolve it and potentially give full refund. When they were texting me, they never mentioned this. Because spruce is nothing but a scam. Then I told them to cancel all their service as I don't want to do business with scammers. Guess what they told me regarding cancellation? They can cancel but there is a cancellation fee. They are worse than old days loan shark gangs. Don't use this service. It's nothing but a scam. I have 0 nice thing to say about them. Can't believe their customer support is also this scammy. Stay away from this scam artists.

   I was hesitant to try a new service for a trip out of the country, but I’ve had an incredible experience with Spruce. My cat cannot handle the stress of being boarded and always becomes ill with feline respiratory viruses, so I decided to try Apartment Butler (aka Spruce) since I had a coupon from my apartment complex. I was able to book in advance and provide specific instructions for care (where toys and the litter genie are kept, details about his mannerisms/play). I received a text message from my caretaker on the scheduled day notifying me that she had arrived and would send me another message at the end of the visit. Not only did I get an update on my cat’s visit, but also pictures of one very happy fur baby! In addition, a team member reached out via email because I booked appointments too far apart for their out of town policy (which I was unaware of) and offered me a complimentary visit to ensure my cat was properly taken care of. I am so pleased with the level of care and attention to detail, with the added bonus of allowing my pet to stay in his comfort zone. I will absolutely use this service again and again.

4. 1/5Terrible cleaning

   I asked for them to come clean my old apartment as I was moving out. The next day I was informed they had dropped and broken a glass shelf in the freezer. They contacted my leasing office and took care of that. Which I was thankful for. I decided to go check the apartment as we had moved out, but still had one day left. They hadn’t deep cleaned really. First off, there was broken glass on the counter tops and floor, The oven and stove were still filthy, there was still milk on the floor( I had dropped some while making a bottle the day we moved out), conditioner on the shower wall, and hair on the bathroom floor, they hadn’t even touched the laundry room, among other issues. I contacted them, with pictures, and asked why it wasn’t done properly. They assured me they would contact my leasing office and go back in to clean. I hadn’t heard anything in a week. So I asked my old apartment and they said they hadn’t heard anything from them. So I emailed them back to ask if they had gone back. I got a message saying they hadn’t, but that my apartment had gone in and cleaned it themselves. Acting as if that is sufficient, when they were supposed to do it. I paid $160 for them to wipe down some counters and vacuum basically. Edit after response: they did pay for the shelf, they DID NOT come back to do a second cleaning. My apartment had to do it as stated.

5. 1/5Worst Moveout Cleaning Service

   I tried this service for my move out cleaning, and while they offer other services, my review is for move out cleaning. #1 I got a text saying they would be there 9-5 on the date of service. They arrived around 1 PM. When I booked the service I paid an extra $50 for them to remove up to 4 bags of garbage. There was a small pile of garbage in the living room, and some garbage that would need to picked up in the bedrooms before vacuuming, but not a ton. There was also a few piles in the basement. In all I would estimate 2-3 bags of garbage. I read their website policy about not handling feces or mold; none of that existed. Around 2 pm I get a text message that they are canceling and refunding my money because the home was not safe to work in. I immediately reply to their text messages to see what's wrong so that I can fix it. After getting no response, I called their customer support number. The customer support number was an automated message that eventually led to just leaving a message. There was no option to talk to a real person. I left a message. I also sent an email. Finally they replied to my text messages and told me the reason was because there was personal items and garbage in the house. I told them I paid to have four bags of garbage removed? This is the worst experience I've ever had with any company. Very unprofessional very unwilling to work with customers to fix things. I would highly recommend using a different company for any services they provide.
