   I love going to Sally’s, the downfall is that I can never leave without spending a ton of money! Most of the items you can find a lot cheaper elsewhere! Unfortunately the other stores don’t carry some of the products I use religiously.. Customer service at the Sally’s in Pompton Plains could use some training in kindness, especially the older woman (possibly the owner or manager) that works the register at times. She definitely needs an attitude adjustment!! As for the other employees, they could use some product knowledge training.. Every time I go there with a hair issue no one has a clue how to help me! And god forbid you need to return something, it’s like you have to bend over backwards to get your money back! Oh and make darn sure you have the exact credit card you used to make your purchase or you can forget about getting refunded in any way, shape or form!!

2. 4/5Just one little thing missing 🙁

   I have always loved Sally’s, it’s been my go to for all my hair products for over 20 years and when the app first came out in the summer of 2019… if I remember correctly it was July 2019, I was extremely loving it and happy, but now here it is 3 months away for the apps 6th birthday and sadly it’s still only an app for the phone… what about the iPads and the tablets? I mean I’m getting older and with age, as bad as I hate to admit it, my eyesight isn’t as good as it once was so just being about to look on my phone after a very long day sometimes doesn’t work as well as it used too for me. Yes I have a desk top computer, yes I have a laptop computer, however I let’s say I am at my gym, which is literally right at a block away from my chosen Sally’s Beauty Supply store if I a on one of the machines I typically have one if not both, my cell phone, my iPad. Now take in mind I have been up since 3:30-4:00 in the morning, going nonstop and by this time its about 3-4 in the afternoon and now I am working out so focusing on my phone’s screen, even if I stop moving on whatever machine I am on at the time I will probably have to squint to see everything good, plus zoom in to be able to read what it says beside the product I am looking at. I have just within the last month gotten new glasses and contacts and I know that they are perfect. It was explained to me that eyes do get tired also, so anyway I am requesting that you please jump on board with every other company that has an app, and get it set up for iPads and tablets also…please 🙂♥️ Thank you in advance.    I love Sally’s but their app is trash. It takes so ong to be able to select your delivery option (mind you it says things are available til you check out then the delivery method is different and changing it takes a painful amount of time that by the time I changed every item separately cause that’s the only way to do it, I then was having to go back through and change them again because the 2nd form of delivery was now no longer available either. It took up entirely too much of my life just doing the delivery options. Do better Sally’s. Y’all been around way too long to be this behind in the industry. I don’t think I will ever use the app for purchases again because of this. And I’m likely not going In store either. I’ll be shopping elsewhere. That’s how ridiculous the process was. And to top it off, it says free shipping on order over $40. Except my total was $58 shipping said 6.95 the under it says shipping discount and show a -$5.95 then tax was $5.98 so tell me why my total was $70. I’ll tell you why, because that shipping cost was not actually deducted. It just shows it is but doesn’t deduct from the total. I’m all around annoyed an to save $3 or so, I’ll pass. I’d rather have an enjoyable experience. I don’t mind paying more for that. Especially because the prices aren’t THAT great anyways. Especially if the items aren’t on sale. Save yourself the frustration.

   Unfortunately I have found that ordering seemingly online through the app for 2 hour delivery or in-store pickup seems to be impossible. After changing out in the items from my cart multiple times due to items not being in stock before checkout, I made sure all items were showing available for 2 hour delivery before placing my order, order was placed then cancelled with no reason as to why it was cancelled. Chatted with an online agent who let me know the store had not done inventory yet so it was showing items we’re out of stock, I asked her what items so I could replace my order or go to the store, she then retracted what she said and said the store had not done inventory “yet” and all items were actually available and I was advised to replace my order, again went back out everything in my cart making sure everything was available (as there is no way to resubmit a cancelled order on my end or Sally’s end according to the agent) placed my order and what do you know cancelled again. I called and spoke with a customer service rep this time who advised me the same thing and when I explained what had happened he said that the online availability is not accurate from store to online. I confirmed that buying online there’s no real way to know if something is truly in stock unless you go inside the store the rep agreed. So the only way to ensure you get your items is shopping in store or waiting 7 days for shipping even though the option for 2 hour delivery and in store pick up is there, if 1 item is not in stock instead of letting you know they just cancel your whole order with no explanation.

5. 1/5Worst app ever

   I purchase online often and this app is simply horrid. I had to resend password resets 4 times as it never arrived in Junk, Spam, or routine box. When I selected my items I decided to reduce quantity in one to purchase more in another. The plus sign was not updating. In fact it was flickering from 8 to 22 bottles. I removed the app twice then reloaded. I made it to the checkout after 40 minutes. Now I was annoyed and going to tough through this dreadful app to get the shampoo. At the checkout I again had to reset my password then for payment it said to save shipping address. Okay. My shipping address was listed but it required it twice. I named it “home” bc that too is required. Nope. So named it My Home. Next level in this game. Payment. Select type. It only allowed Apply Pay Gift Cards or Pay Pal. I had to delete my shipping then re enter. Now back to payment. I made it. Uploaded digits. Paid. Guys this is the WORST app. Ask Ann Taylor how to build a platform they know what they are doing. I should have gone to the store but one hour in I was fully invested in my four bottles of shampoo. Please take this feedback and rebuild modeling off other sites. I would love to use this app but frankly not going to again. Thank you.

   ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS APP! It is a MUST HAVE app for men and women. You can get FREE CONSIDERATION through the app with a licensed hairdresser. She was amazing and she definitely knew her stuff.

   I can always count on Sally Beauty to have just what I need whether it be nail or hair care! In my opinion, the rewards program is worth it.
