   Omg elf is out of the world extraordinary. I have so many elf products and they’re just so amazing. Their skin care is really good at hydrating and brightening your skinning making it glow. I have really clear skin yet elf skin care product have made a look even clearer. Their make up is just so amazing the blush that I have from it makes me look like I have a filter on I love they’re like moisturizing bronzing drops and even just the sunscreen. They also make it really affordable and if you buy on the app, there are a lot of extra surprises. You can get a lot of coupons and deals on certain items if you remember every order is free shipping. they even have where if you pay over $25 you get two gifts and if you pay over 50 you get a really big gift and if you remember the more points you get which you can just get easily by like just checking out their Instagram and slowly that adds up and you can buy some really cool stuff like just make up that you would spend like $75 on for free. The quality is so amazing. It’s comparable to products like M.A.C and even better. They also have a community where you can ask people about questions about make up and you can also just share your life of elf just showing people your halls and it’s a very safe community. Elf always checks all the messages before they send out so anything that you like try to comment on El has a check through it first before letting me comment. It’s truly amazing and I definitely recommend that you give it a try ❤️✨

2. 5/5A long, somewhat tortured relationship

   I’ve been a fan, customer & advocate for E.L.F. for years. Back when there wasn’t a skin care line & pretty much all of their products were under $3. Ok, this may be a wee bit of a stretch, but one could spend $15 on elf products & have a rather impressive haul for less than a $20. Then something changed. There are products I still love, but these smaller container/higher price shenanigans are not flying any longer. I miss the old days when e.l.f. made good, affordable cosmetics that everyone could afford & still look amazing. Now? The quality has diminished over the years & prices have risen. E.L.F. Is no longer that great brand that performed as well as the higher-end cosmetics. Now it is more like: well. E.L.F. has this (insert random product here) which I love, which used to be $2 and is now $15. Such a disappointment. I know you guys have to crank out a profit, but you were cranking out profits when a small square of eyeshadow was $1. I understand inflation, costs, etc…. But the price goes up & quality goes down? No. Do better! You used to be awesome…you cared about the “little guy”, your diehard customers. Now the little guy can’t afford e.l.f. Do better. Please.

4. 3/5Love e.l.f. but the app…

   I know that this app has big potential for improvements. I’ll start with the good - engaging user interface. Really easy to navigate which is great in an app like this one. The virtual try on feature is nice and has great options for when you’re not in a good place for live filming (minus the bugs and the fact that half the time it just says “something went wrong”) Now, I will say that there’s one major thing that’s a huge disappointment. I’ve been loyal to e.l.f. since the start of my makeup journey. I own over 10 e.l.f. products just as of right now, and of course I’ve owned more in the past. I only just downloaded this app and don’t have my receipts saved from my previous splurges at Target and Ulta. It’s kind of a shame that there’s no feature to scan the actual product. That’s what I expected going into it and it was pretty disappointing to see that I’ve spent a lot of money on e.l.f. and they boast how many rewards you’ll get, but apparently only starting once you download the app and start making a point to save all your receipts. My biggest hope? They add a feature where you can scan the barcode on the actual product. Of course, each products points can only be redeemed once, but that way loyal customers can use their proof of owning the actual products to still redeem rewards! A few other things such as slow/buggy reaction time on the app, I tried to take the shade match quiz and I did it all correct only to see an error screen where my ideal shade match was apparently supposed to be. e.l.f does a great job of listening to its supporters on other socials and making amazing, wallet-friendly products, so i can only hope they reach out and listen to the fans downloading their app. I’d love to hear from you, e.l.f.!

5. 3/5Good, but still needs improvement.

   I downloaded the elf app again after a year, and I can definitely see a difference. Things are running smoother than they used to. It can actually function without closing or glitching out within 5 minutes of use. I will say though, the user interface is still poor. While everything seems to hold together better, there’s some features that’s could be added. For instance: the app doesn’t seem to register the fact that I have given it my email about 4 times already. So when I want to be notified about a product being back in stock, I have to constantly put in that email. Most apps will save it to your account and link it some sort of way, so that the user isn’t always putting in the same information over and over. The reaction times for tapping buttons is slow as well. You can tell it’s rendering it and having a hard time keeping up. I’m not sure what’s up with that, but it is slow and patchy. To be honest, I’m not even mad about it, because it’s still improvement from where I first saw it. And I’m really proud of how far it’s come, proud of the people putting work into it. I notice and appreciate that.

   It's a nice app, and works most of the time. Redeeming the e-gift cards (and some other rewards) in the Rewards section have become difficult, even if you have the right amount of points.

   I've really enjoyed using the e.l.f. app. It's easy to browse products, find shades, shop, and earn rewards. I also like being able to leave reviews and read other customers' experiences. My only suggestion would be to make the review process a little easier, especially when adding photos and setting up a display name. Overall, it's a great app that I use often!
