1. 2/5Don’t expect to get paid on time

   Two pay periods in a row my check has not come when it was supposed to. I’ve seen all the other reviews and responses from this company saying that it’s dependent on our employer and when THEY send in our information; but that is completely false. My employer turned payroll in on time both times and when reached out to customer service at Gusto, they very nonchalantly said : “your boss turned in everything on time, but we didn’t see that your employer submitted payroll until the next business day and it takes 3 days for it to process..so you’ll be paid next week instead”. I have bills on auto-draft and I’ve already acquired 2 late fee’s because the inconvenience and I’ll most likely have more. This is unacceptable and if there becomes a third time that this occurs I WILL be contacting the BBB as well as taking legal action to recover late fees due to THEIR negligence. Do not play with people’s money, cuz you wouldn’t like it done to you.

2. 2/5Failure to add new debit card

   I have been trying to add my new debit card to my gusto account for over 2 months now so I can get paid and transfer money out. However, I have yet to be able to add my new non gusto debit card. I’ve reached out multiples times and talked to over 4 different people and each failed to help me fix the issue. I was told that the reason is because my addresses didn’t match. However, I checked multiple, multiple times to make sure the addresses were correct and matched and confirmed that with the gusto help center as well. There should be no reason for my card to not get added to my account yet not a single person I have talked to was able to help me fix the issue whatsoever. I’ve tried to keep my composure and be nice but this is unprofessional for me to have to reach out multiple times over months to get a simple problem fixed and not a single person has been able to help me get my debit card added.

3. 3/5User type: employee - wish it had more things

   Loading is a little sluggish. Sometimes it fails to clock me in or out which is annoying. Would be nice if edit clock ins screen had radio buttons for common selections so I don't have to type "forgot to clock in" or " app glitched" every time. (Forgive the personal deficiencies, this does happen a lot.) When I need to submit receipts, I can't do it from my phone cause the browser redirects to the app without asking. Most of the time my docs are on my phone, making for multiple extra steps and delays until I get to my computer at work. Inconvenient that the app does not have a document upload option or the web doesn't let you choose to continue in the browser. Otherwise it's fine. It's nothing special and nothing horribly awful. Perhaps a time clock widget could be developed for the Home Screen? Not sure if widgets allow a feature that would still need Face ID to work.

   I work for a small nonprofit that until this year was still processing payroll with a company that would send physical payroll journals via courier every two weeks like it was 1985 (the printer paper was even watermarked and everything!). There was no online user interface to speak of and time was “entered” by sending an email to someone at the company to input on our behalf. In this day and age of data breaches and information security, this system horrified me. So I started investigating alternatives and I found Gusto. To say it’s been a step up would be an understatement. Pros: - You can set up different administrative levels so that supervisors can submit payroll for approval by department heads. - Gusto automatically emails employees to update their W-4s and other information regularly. - All Admins get security notices when payment information is changed, which makes sure that someone’s eyes are on it to make sure it’s a legitimate update instead of a hacked account. - You can easily download digital copies of your payroll reports, earning reports for worker’s comp insurance, tax filings, and more. - You can save custom reports as templates so you don’t have to rebuild it every time you need to use it. - It’s easy to integrate with our retirement savings platform. - and probably more! Cons: - Customer service can be very slow to resolve issues. - I’m constantly getting emails, phone calls, and pop up ads on the website trying to upsell me on additional services. If there’s a way to opt out of solicitations, I’d like to know it.

5. 1/5Use for Nonprofit

   We we switched to Gusto Intuit believing that the customer service would be better. Boy were we wrong. Gusto makes Intuit Customer service look like Disneyland. I can’t express in words how frustrating it is to deal with this company. Save yourself a headache and go with someone else. Gusto may be the worst payroll service on the face of the Earth. We have reached out to their customer service many times on many issues over the last year, and none of them have been resolved. We are currently waiting to confirm if they sent out 1099s. We asked seven days ago and still have not been able to confirm. I do not want to hear from the app developer telling me to contact success at Gusto or support at Gusto the AI chat bots are not helpful. If you work for this company, I would suggest finding another job because I can’t imagine them being around much longer due to the fact of how terrible their product and services are.

   they need to let u borrow before 5pm it's kind of ridiculous that I have to wait every day all day just to borrow $30. there's no need for this just let people borrow what they need this is ridiculous

   I've been working using this app for the past 3 months. Every week it comes up with a reason why I can't get a advance. It only does it for certain people apparently. just last week I got an advance when I got paid now it's telling me I don't have funds unavailable when I got paid 4 days ago smh. I wouldn't use this app anybody thinking about using it. they're not even giving you a loan they're giving you an advance of money that you've already earned.

   Beyond Shady be careful with borrowing with a regular bank account because if you borrow let's say 200 they'll charge you payday to your account plus pull 200 more to garnish your check by using there other money splitter option for the on demand account 4710 got charged 400 for 200 no number to call for the Clair they have a bot to help you then answer by email saying I was wrong trying to explain when the math didn't add up got paid 1000 when they where done with it a 600 check but karmas a b
