   This was my first time flying with Etihad Airways from Abu Dhabi to Atlanta, flight no EY13 pnr 99r3jj and it was a very memorable experience. Before the flight, I eat some food outside that unfortunately was not good and caused me stomach problems. During the 16-hour flight, I had severe discomfort and it was a very difficult journey for me. However, I want to sincerely appreciate the amazing service from the cabin crew. They were very caring and professional throughout the flight. I would especially like to thank one flight attendant, Hadeel. She was truly a hero during this trip. She took great care of me, kept checking on me, and made sure I was as comfortable as possible while I was not feeling well. Her kindness, patience, and dedication made a big difference for me during such a hard time. Because of her support, my experience became much better despite the situation. Etihad Airways is very lucky to have someone like Hadeel on their team. Thank you, Hadeel, for your outstanding care and kindness.

2. 1/5Don’t recommend at all, save your money and time

   Etihad canceled flights everyday saying they had technical problems, every day, every international flight. 4 different family members expressed same concern, being stranded in different cities or at airport from hours to 2-4 days sometimes. Also during these times, as I personally experienced that Etihad did not even provide water or a snack to stranded travelers whose flights they canceled without notice at last minute. The very few that got hotel booked due to days of delay we’re left without any information on when they will be reached, when will next flight be available. When they did reschedule, randomly people were assigned to fly to different destinations far off and waste 1-2 days going in loop to get to original destination. People who were needing medication suffered. People traveling due to emergency were not given any ear, nor prioritized, and left at customer service reply which didn’t help. Save money, time and agony. DON’T travel with Etihad.

   Dear Etihad Airways Customer Service, I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent travel experience my three daughters had while flying with Etihad Airways. My daughters, aged 16, 18, and 20, were traveling together and experienced significant difficulties during their connecting flight. The connection time provided was extremely short, and by the time they reached the gate, they were informed that it had already closed. Despite this being clearly due to the tight connection schedule, they were not offered any meaningful assistance. What is most concerning is the way they were treated at customer service. The staff was unhelpful, rude, and showed no concern that three young travelers—one of them a minor—were left stranded for several hours. This level of customer service is completely unacceptable and caused our family a great deal of stress and worry. Additionally, the seating experience was very disappointing. I was required to pay approximately $400 for extra legroom seats, which I understand are supposed to be complimentary or reasonably provided. The seat assignment process felt unfair and poorly managed. Overall, this was a very unsatisfactory experience, and I am extremely disappointed in Etihad Airways. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this airline to others unless serious improvements are made in customer care, communication, and passenger support—especially for young travelers. I hope Etihad will take this complaint seriously and review the handling of this situation to prevent similar experiences for other families in the future.

4. 3/5Excruciatingly painful app and painful call center process

   First up, the app is terrible. There have been numerous instances/excuses/updates in the past and the end user experience is poor. Just one example - I can’t even see the details of a previous booking, as it assumed I’m going to manage the booking. Try buying a ticket with miles on the app - Etihad seems to do everything it can to DISCOURAGE easy redemption of miles, and the website is no better. And the worst is having to call the call center for which YOU get charged because Etihad hasn’t made a proper app. And to top it all, it doesn’t seem that they care about feedback, either here, or in general. Not mention the Profiling at the airport by their staff - and if Etihad really takes things seriously, someone will contact me.

5. 3/5Not user friendly app.

   It’s always been terrible but at least in the past I was able to do few things such as choosing my seat, since most my travel 14 hours flights and I need the extra leg room, and unfortunately since I been loyal customer for Etihad with gold status since 2011, yet never ever got any complimentary upgrade therefore it’s very important for me to choose my seat, with the new update I can’t do that either. As per the email sent to most frequent flyers there is new updates that is more benefits and friendly, not true at all same benefits nothing new, and the app is worst than before. You would think someone in Etihad will read all these comments and do something about it? Guess again, no one care in Etihad.

   Various glitches within this App. Could not book my chauffeur after 6 or 7 attempts. Have to book manually I guess. Not impressed as very frustrated.

   Clumpy. Heavy. Not responsive. Difficult to use when doing the simplest operations. Wouldn't recommend it to my enemy. To add a birth date I have to 'tap' an arrow to go back to my year of birth. Why can't I simply type it in?? That's just frustrating! I cannot add extra details to check in if I do not have a visa for the country I am going to. I don't need a visa to the country I am going to. Why do I have to line up for over an hour to check in? NOT ACCEPTABLE IN THIS DIGITAL AGE!

   Really bad to experience. My name in app is not appearing correctly due to which my guest miles are also not getting added. it's been over 2 months I have been calling customer care , writing email but the issue is still there and it feels they don't even bother anymore. Can't imagine such a horrible customer support exists.
