   Honestly use just about every charging System out there. This one “Chargepoint” in my opinion does it right. simple scan from the app stored easily in my apple wallet to the easy “prompt to plug in” to “charging” it’s the easiest system out there to follow. Not only that. From day 1. I have never received a message about connection failures or any issues from their stations like i have experienced from other vendors! solid easy to use and reliability. That’s been my experience. i have a HUGE REQUEST of this company. Can you please Replace and repair the Stations at the Jacksonville International Airport. Possibly replacing those with combination chargers that accommodate CCS1 High Speed Chargers as there are not enough of them here in JACKSONVILLE / Duval County and Sureounding Clay County, St. John’s County, Nassau County. St. Augustine. Gainesville. We need more Combination High Speed Chargers installed NOT NOT NOT what we have currently. A Lot of broken J1772 Chargers. Can we just standardize one type of adapter for Charging? Like all vehicles use either The Tesla adaptation or the CCS1 Model. There’s too many variants of Charging and it’s really confusing the consumers out here. Anyway please add new locations of Charging stations to our region. as we have only 1 single location for your “Chargers” on Dunn Ave. here in Jacksonville, Fl. (Not enough) please add more. PLEASE. Consumer NEED!!!! Urgent Request!!!!! For JACKSONVILLE PROPER AND SURROUNDING AREAS!!!!! Thank you.

2. 1/5Lacking basic functionality since 2012

   This app is firmly stuck in the year 2012. The developers don’t care that you can only own one Chargepoint charger per account. If you have more than one Chargepoint charger at home, you cannot add more than one to your account. That’s right, only one per email account with Chargepoint. If you own more than one, 2+ will be dumb chargers with no connection to your account. I’ve asked for this feature for 10+ years. Yet it is always and forever a feature “under consideration” for a future release. I own 2 Chargepoint chargers, and can only use one of them for energy tracking and notifications, unless I create an account for each, assign one charger to each, and then log in and out of whichever one I’m using. The whole app looks, feels and has the features it had in 2012. It’s time to update devs. My $175 chargers from China come with free software that does this and so much more! Wake up and update this app. My Chargepoint chargers are extinct as it comes to EV connectivity. They won’t even tell me the SOC from the vehicle from the app! Yep, the Chinese ones do that in their app too. For the price, the Chargepoint app doesn’t do your hardware any justice. Update it or don’t. But you’re going to keep losing customers if you don’t. 3. 1/5Buggy and Endlessly Frustrating

   This app is without question one of the most buggy and glitch-prone I’ve ever had the displeasure to use, and I’m forced to use it simply because my employer has decided to contract charging stations through ChargePoint. I’ve been using 1.5+ years and my experience has been nothing but poor since the beginning. Here’s a typical experience (that just started this week) - upon arriving to work I attempt to join the waitlist. I have to click “Join Waitlist” 6-10 times before it stops returning errors (“server error”, “general error, try again” “…”) and allows me to join the waitlist with the message “You’re on the waitlist, waitlist starts at 10:00 am”. Check the app at 10:15/10:30, and I am not on the waitlist. Instead I’m prompted with another “Join Waitlist” button as if I’ve never joined, which I click and actually get a high-ish number like #5 or #3. Go back to work and wait for my time to plug in. Then around 2:00 I check my waitlist status in the app and find that I’m still #5 in line, so I go out to the charging area and see that there’s 3-6 spaces empty and readily available for charging - I check the app, and I’m still on the waiting list. That’s just one example, new bugs and app failures pop up weekly. (I could really write pages on the glitches I’ve encountered) On a typical week I’ll manage to get maybe 2-3 hours of charging in over the course of 5 days, which in turn requires about 4-6 hours of fussing with the app and walking back and forth to the parking lot. Between me and my coworkers ChargePoint is costing my employer 100s of hours of lost time.

4. 1/5Frustrating & sleazy

   Super irritating that I had to download the app in order to use the station to begin with (really has data grab vibes), since there are definitely other stations that I can just plug in & tap to pay. But even with the app, I couldn’t get it to charge anyway - I got stuck in an error loop where the app and the charging station seemed to be contradicting or interrupting each other, and then terminating the transaction before it could even start. This happened at multiple charging stations & I definitely followed all of the instructions and verified all payment information. And then on top of the clearly terrible functionality in this specific instance, the app itself is clunky in general & the UI is annoying. I shouldn’t have to hit ‘start charging’, then scroll around & then click a connector type & hit ‘start charging’ again, & then have it get stuck on ‘plug in the connector’ screen that is apparently oblivious to the fact that it’s definitely already plugged in, which is the only way the ‘start charging’ button appears anyway. I eventually got frustrated enough that I just left to limp home with range anxiety. All of this & they also apparently needed all of my personal information in order to just… (not) charge my car. No thank you, we’re not doing the data theft & sale thing anymore. Deleted account & won’t be using chargepoint again.

5. 5/5Love the app and ChargePoint, new update needs some tweaks.

   I love chargepoint stations and the app. The app and ChargePoint stations are always very reliable, and having a ChargePoint card in my Apple wallet is a great feature that speeds things wayy up. My only complaints are about the new app design that was just released. While very pretty to look at, and was clearly very well designed visually, it’s noticeably a bit less responsive on some interactions. I am also really missing the feature where if a location has multiple stalls at it, I could press “Notify me when any plug at this location is available” basically, I used to be able to click this button, and when any of the chargers became available at the location I was at I would get a notification. Now that functionality is gone, and I have to go through and press notify me on all of the plugs. Small inconvenience but it really did make a difference. There is also no longer an option to disable notifications for a spot either. If you guys could fix just those two things it would be perfect!! Still love ChargePoint :)
