   I recently had the pleasure of using the Carla Car Rental app for a trip, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed.    This app brings a refreshing way to shop for a car rental! It is so easy to use and even fun! It shows location of the car rental place, price, and how many seats! I really enjoyed shopping for a rental with the swipe feature and being able to save a handful of options to look at for a final decision. The swipe feature was kinda fun! I almost wanted to keep going just to keep swiping left or right. I found the feature showing how many seats extremely helpful as we have a large family and 5 seats would not work. This feature made the process quick to find vehicles that would work. Being able to save multiple “favorites” was a unique feature. Instead of scrolling on multiple sites and trying to remember what I liked I was able to save multiple options from various companies to review and choose from. Rentals are shown from cheapest to more expensive so I did not have to waste time trying to find inexpensive options either. It might seem overwhelming to older generations but it is easy to figure out and get used to with the tutorials. Overall I really liked this app and the new refreshing way to shop for a car rental!

   Well if you really want to give away money this is the company to get, they are liars they pretend they reserved a car for you they sent you to the location just to find out that they have nothing no car at all, your name has to be placed on a waiting list but they claim that whoever reserved for you has no knowledge of this that they only reserved and collected money from you and of course money they have no intention to give back and if they do they only provide credit that you can use with them only but only partial not all the money they took from your card, they make charges that allow them to keep portion of your money like a guarantee to get you the rental that you won’t get of course and they still keep the guarantee money because you agree to their terms. Really I don’t know how they allowed this kind of apps to be here and promote themselves in social media and all they do is stole money from people. At least they took my money because they have no intention to give it back, I have sent them lots of messages letting them know that I got no rental and they don’t care they won’t refund my money. And they have like an automated system I’m sure they just a bunch of robots answering to peoples request. Overall I give this company 1 star because there’s no option to add 0 star to them because they earn a double 00 with me and I will make sure to tell all my friends about them so everyone knows they are just worthless and they steal your money, money we all work hard for.

5. 1/5took my money & customer service is a joke

   I rented a car through the carla app, & i will never be using it again & i recommend you NOT to either! i am 20 years old & it said underage driver fee waived… but it wasn’t waived. whatever though, i still paid and everything because i needed the car right? so i paid for insurance in the app too… however, after paying for the insurance thru the app & completing my purchase, i headed up to pick up the car. i got a LYFT there. the guy at the counter asked me what insurance i would like to purchase and i said i already did through the Carla app. he said he didn’t see it and told me to purchase it again, and i said no. he also looked at my drivers license and told me there’s an extra $200 deposit on top of the original security deposit because i am under 25. i had enough $ on my card anyways for the extra charges but apparently my credit card wasn’t accepted at their location. but it was accepted thru the app and i even called to double check they take my credit card. long story short; i did NOT pick up the car & i immediately contacted customer service. i hardly had any response, as i had to contact MULTIPLE times before receiving an answer. anyways, i still have not received any refund & i just keep getting told that they’ve forwarded it to another department and they’ll get back to me “within a working week”. it’s been 12 days and nothing. so i do not recommend this app FOR ANYONE! go to priceline or something, at least their customer service will get back to you promptly.

   Rarely do I come back to give 1 star but I felt it my moral obligation to warn any potential clients to avoid this company and the app like the plague. I booked a car, paid for additional support. They cancelled my car mid flight and then support never got back to me. The app completely blanks out and your reservation disappears so there's nothing you can do, and you're then at the mercy of airport car hire locations charging 5x. This app cost me an expensive and unnecessary trip out of Milan.

   we had an issue with our CARLA rental as Europcar had conditions we could not satisfy on check in. Sarah at CARLA was great in arranging a full refund for our booking so we could then find an alternative rental.
