5/5Really awesome app
The calm health app is really great for dealing with anxiety and depression symptoms and it gives you lessons to learn and it is like taking small classes. I really like that it teaches you DBT ACT and CBT skills! Things you learn in therapy and IOP intensive outpatient programs. Please give it a try, do the assessment honestly and it will make a big difference in your symptoms and your overall wellbeing. It has for me! Best of luck to everyone on their journey to feeling better and living life again!!

4/5This is changing my life! But there is room for improvement
I got the sponsor for this app thru my health insurance and I love the quality of the content so much. It’s available just the right time for me and just simply a game changer. The content and voices sooth my brain and emotion. However, I find it a little bit hard to wander around and find the content that I like. And it’s not easy to find the program that I’m following. The progress tracker is not very efficient for me. For example, I finished the program but want to listen to some session a again, that program will show up like I’m starting from scratch. Or it only allows me to play in background at the first time opening the program. If I pause for a little and resume, the sound turns off with my screen off and I have exist the program, reopen it again so that I can turn my screen off. Those are some small things but really impact my experience. I hope those will go away in future updates.

2/5Please add feature!!!
My company sponsored a Calm membership, but found it cancelled. New Benefit Provider (UHC) new Calm Health app…MISSING the ability to Favorite Playlists for Sleep, Relaxation…etc. though you can favorite individual “sessions” within which does NOT bring you to the playlist just plays that “session”, track, song, whatever you choose to call it. So…each night or each day the user has to search for the darn playlist through the glitchy, scroll freezing app, to find a playlist. This design should have copied the original Calm app features, then layered in the extra psychiatric evaluation/self - help recommendations and programs. If you ask me I’d say it’s more frustrating than “Calm”ing. This must be specifically designed to cater to commercial accounts and collect data due to not much thought out into legacy transitions, where none of your previous account info transfers, yet you still login through Calm portal if a legacy customer. Poor transitional integration, this was designed for “New Users”, and offers only base functionality.

3/5Good content, but the app experience needs work
I like the content on the app, once I finally find something I want to listen to. The interface isn’t very intuitive, and without a search bar, it can take 10-15 minutes just to land on something I like. Sometimes I get tired of scrolling and end up leaving the app altogether. Navigation definitely needs to be smoother. I’ve also noticed that I have to log in again if I haven’t used the app in a few hours. Is Face ID an option? I’d prefer not to log in so often, but if that’s necessary, Face ID would be a much less frustrating alternative to re-entering my credentials each time. Also, it would be great to see more content added, variety would really help with discovery. Overall, the content is good, but the user experience could definitely use some improvements.

3/5Too Complicated and brings less calm to use it
I almost don’t want to use this app because it’s actually quite frustrating to use. I like the simplicity of the original Calm app and how they have it easy to navigate to meditations and sleep stories. But it seems that we are being forced to switch to this. I really hope that they make it less frustrating to operate because too many taps to get to one place is actually harder on my mental health than simple easy to navigate. Also the load screen takes way too long to get to the Home Screen. Maybe make the shortcuts at the bottom customizable so that you can go right to meditations and sleep stories. I don’t know but I do know opening up this app brings me less calm than the original.
