   So I was in the wic office and was talking to my worker about knowing what we can and can’t buy and then went in after a month or two and come back to this app which helps others with wic find things in store that some stores neglected to put up so we know why we are shopping for this isn’t a negative review it’s a positive one and wish this was available when I had my younger children but still glad it is around and will continue to use as long as it’s around they should add more for the parents to do things like all things related to wic and parents of all ages to get more like classes online or through app in real time like cooking parenting and nursing as well for new parents breastfeeding and as well as going to school setting up wic appointments learning what some one needs to come new or Recertification and other things I can go on but I already said to much if they come up with all this I want credit lol but I’m a parent and love this app good job wic

   This app makes it so much easier to get shopping done. I love being able to scan barcodes to see if something is wic exepted. And having an entire list to go through. The calculater is nice to, i do wish the calculater reset automaticall every month tho, cause its a bit of a “what the heck!” Moment when i go to add something and it says i have no more benefits, but that was from my last months shopping. You have to clear calculator urself for each section. And sometimes it can be confusing if u didnt remember and u did a small buy and added something and it went through and then your not fully sure what u have or not. Lucky the reciepts can help a bit. Also, they have some nice recipes, they look fun to make and simple. I havent tried any in the app as of yet as i just started exploring these, but i did try some wic recipes in the past that were given to me through the office and my kids and i loved them! So im excited to try these. Also wish there was a spot to save favorite recipes, so it would be quick to refer back to when going to cook or while in store and trying to get ingrediants. Especially if your a month shopper like me and like to plan out your meals, having a save spot would be very convienent. Overall i am loving the app, so so helpful. Theres more to it too, i havent explored it all, like milesstones and i cant remember. If you got wic i would suggest this, so much less stress when shopping and you will use almost all ur benefits in a way that provides different food options in your home.

3. 2/5Needs more work

   As much as would like to enjoy using my WIC APP man it’s stressful! The pictures don’t show! I always end up taking certain items out when getting to the cashier or at self checkout! I always end up spending so much time at the bread and milk area to see which is which. The pictures are the main problems for me. I don’t have the whole day to be checking codes and names of items before I can move on. And due to pictures issues not showing I get stressed out and tired! Also the formulas are very stressful to find. I mostly have to go to different stores to find the exact formulas! Like what if I didn’t have a car? Come on now! Please fix this issues. The only one that doesn’t give me a hard time is the the fruits and vegetables, I like the vegetable and fruits section due to the fact it shows you how much you got to spend and go for it. I wish it was like that for bread, milk and other stuffs instead of looking for codes, names, and trying to figure out which item is which. It will be a lot helpful if everything could be like the fruit and vegetable where it shows you how much you got to spend and go with your business. Please fix and update this app. It’s not easy. Thank you

4. 4/5So much better but....

   I think the App is way way better. I was able to go into the store and scan the products that I was unsure about to see if they were going to be accepted prior to going to checkout. I’m so glad I had that option because there was a cheese that seemed different but it was the only one available for the brand I buy at the time so I scanned the barcode to see if it was still acceptable and it wasn’t. This prevented me from being at checkout in a pickle once again so this is a BIG THANK YOU!! I do however have ONE suggestion that would help me a lot. I would LOVE the ability to add my next appointment details into the WIC app or maybe it would be automatically updated at the time when my appointment was made since it’s linked to my WIC card. 😉 I have missed appointments many times because I forget. If I could have it on the APP then I could have notifications sent to my forgetful-self over and over until it’s branded into my brain. It would also be helpful to have the option to select what type of appointment it is. That way a list of what they will need me to bring to that particular appointment could be shown and maybe even have the ability to have the items checked off as they were gathered. Having to write everything down that’s needed for the following appointment during a phone call isn't always easy. Plus having this available to us would make the ladies at WIC happier as well. This is just a suggestion and either way I’m very happy with the new updated APP. Thanks for making life easier. Oh..... one more thing... can Honey Nut Cheerios be added? I see that honey Kix was added but my kiddos love Cheerios more ;) Their fave are the frosted ones.... I’m sure those would be a no go though huh? Haha. Thanks for reading my longer then expected book and thinking about adding those suggestions for me.

   Thanks for launching the app-this is a relief for not having to carry the food list all around, but It’s frustrating not being able to read the product names on said shopping list. I’ve tried zoom, but nothing really works. So when I saw that on the hard copy there was a granola available, we sang hooray! Granola with yogurt is one of our favorite breakfast staples! We don’t care for any other cold cereals. Mostly oatmeal and granola, here...we were at the store (make that three different stores), none of which had allowable granola...and I’m trying to show the stock person my screen, and neither of us can make out the name of the listed granola because it’s sooooo tiny! Also, it would be great if we could type in our fruit/veggie amount in the calculator, rather than the linear scale, and plus & minus. Takes forever to zero in on exact allowed amount. If the app were more personalized, like a bank account or EBT app, we could see in real time our balances etc without having to take a pic of the last receipt every time. The past two receipts printed from the store are illegible, so I can’t tell what my balance is. The descriptions are printed perfectly. However, the amounts are blurred, or nonexistent. I wish that these cars would work the same as EFT cards, where you can just find out what your balance is by calling in the account number or opening the app. The current app requires that you take a picture. Of your current receipt. Which doesn’t work if the past three receipts are unclear. Why can’t the account and the e card/app be synced for every transaction, such as a bank card or credit card? I can’t even call in my balance inquiry after hours. So annoying. Glad it was launched-looking forward to improvements!
