1. 4/5Credit Card Balance Should Include Pending Transactions

   It would make sense to have the USAA credit card balance work like the checking account balance where you can see the actual balance and then a running balance that includes pending transactions. It can take time to calculate monthly spend when you have to add every single pending transaction to the actual balance of cleared transactions. Realize the budget / money manager tool can help with this but again that takes time and has value but not daily value in my opinion. When I check my checking account I see the balance and then I see running balances inclusive of pending transactions that paint a clearer picture of the true balance. Similar to the old school white transaction booklet you’d get with checks. The credit card should include running balances in real time that adjust with each transaction. Then just simply put a caveat that the actual balance only reflects cleared transactions… but having running balances that adjust in real time would be extremely helpful and more times than not will be the actual balance once everything (fuel charge for example) clears. Would like to talk this idea over with a USAA rep if possible and believe it will help those with cards and especially those who use their card for the majority of monthly spend as my wife and I do. 2. 5/5Credit Card Account Due Date

   I spoke with a rep today and was totally displeased for the 2nd time regarding having no option to change a due date on my credit card. I would like it changed to the 6th of the month. I have a monthly auto-transfer to pay this bill. The earliest I can schedule it to transfer is the 2nd of each month. The last 3 months I have managed to get this credit card payment paid on time which is due the 4th of each month because I set up autopay. However, as of today, it does not reflect my monthly auto-transfer of $700 for that transaction to take place. The non-business days (weekends) may be the reason it has not posted yet. I’m between a rock and a hard place. I can’t change my USAA due date and I can’t make my deposits be there every time by the 4th of each month. Why can’t you fix this issue? I do not want to get an outrageous late fee applied when I am trying to make every effort to avoid that by paying my monthly bill on time. And the rep recommendated I cancel my monthly autopay and pay manually until you guys can honor my request. At 70 years of age, I hit and miss reminders. That’s why I chose autopay! Doing this manually is definitely not the way to go for me. I moved money over to cover the balance needed for this payment today. I really hope USAA fix whatever it is that is not allowing a member to change a credit card due date.

3. 4/5No Ipad / Safari support

   I an retired, been a member for over 55 years. Used to have auto insurance, credit card and investing / retirement accounts at one time. Everything was going ok with website support. Then USAA started to drift into an online APP as primary. A good retirement interface for IRA/ROTH and regular stock investment accounts was sold or move to Schwab. So I moved my three types of accounts to another provider. So i remained with just a credit card and auto insurance. I tried to get home insurance but the process to get a quote for my home where i have lived for over 30 years was a nightmare, so i kept my old home insurance. So now the current auto insurance premiums are so high that i am looking for another insurance company. The current board does not seem to know what they are doing. They keep making decisions that seem to be just to make changes and try to fix what is not broken. It is getting to the point that everything will be broken. One special is the nickel and dime fees ($3.00) for making multi payments even if the payments accelerate the premium schedule. Also late payments when the fault is that USAA failed to post the payment on time. So what used to be a real veteran friendly well run company with the lowest premiums, has deteriorated over time. Maybe too many money being spent in sports and tv advertising?

   I really love this app because it shows all your accounts and you can even link it to a 401k, 403b, and etc… You can also sign up for an IRA and etc. I also like how you can transfer money from your savings to your checking account and your checking to your savings account and it shows all your transactions. If you want to do a weekly, monthly, and etc transfer, you can even do that too!… Also, you can even file a dispute!…If you get a credit card, It also lets you transfer money to your credit card to pay your bill and it shows all your transactions. Oh and if you get a credit card, you get points for many things but I mainly use it for gas because I get 4% back!… On the app, you can exchange your points for things like gift cards, money, and etc! It also shows your car insurance, renters insurance, home insurance, and for personal property items insurance. You can even adjust your premiums. Ohh and it also shows your credit score!… I would highly recommend this app because you can even link it to your Apple Pay and watch pay app. Ohh and on your watch, it can also show your balances. There are soo many things you can do with this app!… Also, this is coming from someone that’s been with USAA for over 20 years!

5. 3/5Notifications gone haywire

   Update: I am no longer receiving any notifications from this app. Where I used to be receiving notifications constantly at all hours of the night in duplicate now I receive zero notifications. There is just a little red indicator on the app that there’s a notification inside the app. Please note that all of my notifications are set on my phone and that has never changed. It’s odd that when I complained as you’ll see below about the obnoxious notifications suddenly I don’t receive them anymore, but they still exist within the app. I should be getting the notifications I signed up for not in duplicate not in triplicate, but I should be getting them. I have been a member of USAA for over 30 years and have had this app on my phone since it’s inception. However, for the past six months, I have been getting notifications about banking transactions that I never signed up for, and that duplicate and triplicate in the wee hours of the morning. I see no reason why I should get two push notifications from the app every single time a transaction occurs. I’ve even gone into the app to change my settings and I still get the same notifications. It’s gotten to the point that I’ve had to completely shut off all notifications from USAA because I don’t need 2 text messages 2 emails and 2 push Notifications to know that my check cleared at 3 AM.
