   I love that there is an app for TS now! It makes it so easy to quickly search and see if something is in stock before I drive into town. It also makes it incredibly easy to search through different options before ordering an in-store pickup. I know I can also search online but it makes it a lot quicker to have the app. That being said, I rarely update apps unless something is very wrong because I find it usually makes different issues arise. I was having some issues with the version I had where I couldn’t sign in or create an account so I couldn’t add anything to my cart. I like how online you don’t have to have an account to add to your cart, but I was willing to create an account to use the “cart” feature. Since I couldn’t sign into an account, (it kept saying there was an error,) I still couldn’t use the cart feature which renders this app useless besides just for doing some shopping around before popping into the store. I decided to update, despite my hesitation since as I mentioned earlier, I dread updating apps. I did update and now I can’t even use the app at all because it is trying to make me create an account before I’m even able to shop in the app. I can press “skip” but the login window pops right back up and I’d honestly rather not have to make an account. Also I’m worried it’ll allow me to create an account but somehow continue trying to say I’m not logged in. Please fix because I loved using this app.

2. 5/5Polite & Helpful

   First I keep calling it Farm & Fleet still not used to it, lol. But most importantly are the workers. I am so horrible with names, so here goes… the little Blonde lady always always always has a smile and says Hi and is so helpful. There is a tall gentleman who is also quite helpful and nice also. They’re the most helpful (at least for me they are) and they don’t cop an attitude when asking for help or even for some advice on something. They don’t just point to where they think it is and say “it’s over there somewhere”. A while back there used to be an older lady who worked there and also on her days off, the Newaygo store sometimes too when they were shorthanded. She was super amazing. I think she was just as sweet as the little blonde lady. I’ll remember their names probably after I post this 🙄

3. 2/5Unnecessary Hassle

   This app is clunky, unreliable, and frequently inaccurate. When it works, it’s great, which is why I use it. But about one in ten times, it not only isn’t great, it produces a huge headache that I have to unsnarl. Most recently, for example, it logged me out (fine) but then allowed me to place a curbside order anyway (how??). This would have been convenient except that the product I ordered appears to be out of stock—TSC has a habit of canceling curbside orders without warning when things are out of stock and since I don’t have any indication that my order has been filled I assume this happened here—but since my app now has no record of my order I don’t really know how to check. Unfortunately my method of payment is still holding my funds. How am I supposed to cancel the order? I don’t know; I have no order number to reference in my app. How would I have even picked it up? I don’t know that either, since it didn’t ask for my name in the first place—hence the reason I thought I was logged in. Why is the inventory frequently out of date to begin with and why can’t the company notify me when someone realizes this instead of leaving me to open up the app to find out for myself? Again, when it works the app is great but when it doesn’t it’s infuriating; TSC’s clientele deals with livestock and very often when you need something for an animal you need it RIGHT NOW. Having to track down a vendor that has dropped the ball is a very unwelcome twist.

4. 1/5Payment issue and customer service

   I have always bought dog food in store but recently broke both feet. That being said I tried to order dog food through the app. I first tried to use the subscription option so it will be less hassle to get food when it’s needed. I tried multiple times to order the food needed with a few different payment methods. It keeps saying the app could not verify payment. I have had family get my dog food as needed. I have been trying to order it for over two months with no avail. I have tried to contact customer service but usually hang up after being on hold multiple times longer than 45 minutes. Today I was able to get customer service on the line after waiting for 20 minutes this time. They told me they do not have any way to process subscription options of purchase. This is terribly frustrating, the app doesn’t work and now I’m being told the operating system won’t let them manually place a repeating order to be delivered. I’m usually not one to complain but I hope this reaches the right place for someone to look into fixing these issues.

5. 1/5Worst app ever

   This is literally the worst app I’ve ever used. The options for pickup, delivery, TSC delivery for every product are incredibly annoying. I want the same for all products in the order. Why isn’t that an option! It would be fine if it didn’t take a full minute to switch every single one. Separately, if I pay with Apple Pay, the delivery location automatically changes. So my horse food is delivered to my house instead of my barn location. Today I placed an order for two bags of goat probiotics to be shipped via mail. Just got a notification that one is ready to pick up in store and one is being shipped. 🤯 Why?!? Usability in this app is terrible. There’s no confirmation page of details before the order is Submitted and once the order is out for delivery, getting a hold of Roadie is difficult. 15-20 minute wait time. It’s incredibly frustrating paying $1,000s for feed to have to do the work to sort through the nonsense caused by this terrible app. If you call the store, they can’t see much of what happens with orders via the app. Terrible user experience. Zero stars.
