1. 5/5Ale from Clybourn Menard is the best

   I saw the Christmas Santa ornament that you can blow out the candle on a tree on a tree display separately tagged for the price. A asked a worker where to find this ornament and he told me that I had to buy the whole tree. I said there’s a separate skew and price for it. And that my grandkids Papa had passed away and he was Santa. He said they didn’t have anymore unless I bought the display. I went to guest service and Spoke to Ale and she said I could order from another Menards and PU. I asked if she would help me get from Morton grove. She did and even helped when I couldn’t remember my password. I was able to confirm purchase within 10 minutes with Ale (Alessandra). She is wonderful and will make grandkids, kids and Papa’s wife holiday memorable. Please give her a raise! Liza M ( PS - I was able to order 6 more for each of the family. Thank you Ale !!

2. 4/5Keeps getting better, but could use a few more changes

   I didn’t really care for this app at first, as it was not very useful, but it is getting better. The view in store was not very helpful, as it just pointed you to a general area. But now you can see the exact aisle and section, very helpful! I also like the addition of the option to save an item for later. Before I had to add items I was considering to a list, but now I just click save for later, I love it! A couple things I would like to see added are the ability to copy & paste. I was looking for a receipt and scanned the item, but I was not able to copy the SKU to paste to the lookup receipt function. I had to write it down and then type it in the receipt lookup. Another great thing would be to search for a SKU on all of your saved cards in the receipt lookup and not one card at at time. EDIT: Thank you for adding the option to copy & paste! This is helpful when scanning an item and copying the SKU to look up the receipt.

3. 5/5App does not work (Update below. It works now.)

   My app stopped working. It keeps giving me “Oops… unable to…” messages. The last thing I had done was search for a store location and it got stuck in that mode. It said “oops” it was unable to find a store location so I tried to search for a product. It told me “oops” it couldn’t do that either. I tried to go to my cart and then my account and “oops” it couldn’t find either of those things either. I reluctantly logged out of the app and it then wouldn’t let me log back in because “Oops unable to get account information at this time, please try again later”. I reluctantly deleted the app and downloaded it again. I got the same “oops” message saying it could not find my account information. I’m thoroughly disgusted as this has been happening for over a month that I am aware of. There is no store where I live so I place orders online and drive to the closest store to pick up my orders. I can use the Menards website, but the app does not work. Update - I figured out it was due to the use of a VPN. Although I had never had this problem before, once I disconnected from my VPN I was able to log in and use the app again.

4. 5/5exceptional customer service!

   The Gull Rd., Menards in kalamazoo has delivered exceptional customer service to me in 2025. For the first time in my life, I bought a new house on my own knowing while I might be in over my head. There have been multiple items I’ve needed such as landscape, irrigation and gardening equipment, a propane exterior fire place, mini-fridge, and now a small size snow thrower. Each and every time I received quality guidance as I made my selection on a budget, they were all clearly well informed, never seemed bothered by my endless questions, gathered up all the heavy materials, brought them up front or had me pick them up out back. I never had to wait for these items and everyone was super friendly and wonderful. Now, when I need anything related to my new house or landscaping, I go straight to Menards on Gull Road! Menards Rules All!!!!

5. 3/5Very glitchy

   I am an avid Menards shopper. Their stores are always clean, employees are easy to find and very helpful. As a professional Carpenter their wide variety of unique woodworking tools and products makes them my go-to store most days. Sadly, their app is not user-friendly. The search function only works about half the time for me. I have re-downloaded the app, close the app to restart it but it still has issues. It either doesn’t find the product or pops up with an “Oops, something went wrong” message. My other complaint is that they don’t have product user ratings. It is extremely helpful when considering a purchase to be able to see what other customers think about said product. I can’t think of a single major retailer that does not have at least a star rating system in their online store. It’s extremely Odd. Other than those issues the app is clean and easy to use.
