5/5Love it!
I don’t like to ask my independent type 1 diabetic kid if she’s given herself insulin. (She was diagnosed 13 years ago.) With this app, I don’t have to. I can see everything she has input into it. I see an ongoing graph, any activity she has programmed in on the graph (like insulin, activity, food). So now, if I ask, she either didn’t do it or didn’t log it and we can talk about what her numbers did because of that. We have also synced it with her Apple Watch, her phone, my husband’s and my phone, Alexa, and it’s a widget on our phones to see at a glance. She now has 3 apps on her phone. Dexcom G6, with Sugarmate following it, and Dexcom Clarity to send info to the dr. On our phones, we just have SugarMate. There are so many cool tiles to see trending. There are so many options available, I’d like to see if there is a way to walk step by step through the options to see if I’m using them to the best of my ability. (For that matter, I’ve created training manuals with a job before and I’d happily help create a tutorial for it.) The app is so good, the support is so good. The only thing I see missing is getting that info out to the public. People would be flocking to buy it if they realized how good it was!

5/5This app has it all!!
I have been looking for an app like this FOR YEARS!!! The developer is either a diabetic himself or has spoken to a LOT of diabetics about what they want and listened!! Why? Because this app has EVERYTHING that only true diabetics know and even includes “dream features” not found anywhere else. It handles food and diet, exercise, notations and journals, insulin types (it even knows about the new and rare U500 that not even hospitals know about yet!), and of course, blood sugars. It knows how to plot graphs that are very useful and can show you how and what causes what. It works very well with CGMs, especially the Dexcom brand. It offers a very comprehensive report that is completely customizable. (Instead of 18+ number of little reports that must be done individually and sent to doctor’s office as a big mess, THIS app has ONE report where you can include or not include whatever you want, depending on your purpose. And best of all… it’s a FREE app!!! There are so many abilities… too many to list! But we’ll worth it!!

5/5Thank you SugarMate!
I really love SugarMate and it works far better than the version I tried almost 5 years ago! I LOVE all the little noises the app makes. In fact, I will get a noise notification from SugarMate before my Dexcom alerts me with their noise alert! A large area SugarMate can improve upon: Offering patients to enter in their own supplements/medication names, Etc. I have a lot of medications & supplements I take that are not on the list of available names in the drop down menu. I have to use another app to scan in my daily meds & supplements and try to make sense of using the two apps. I like to be able to see if supplements or medications affect my blood sugars but cannot easily see them on the SM interface if it's not an option to add it in. What I love is that SugarMate offers the ability to manually enter protein, fat, calories, carbs (etc) into the manual meal entry, which is wonderful! I haven't tried to invite friends or family to follow my SugarMate readings as when I tried it years ago it never did work. I think I'll give it another go now that I've used the app for a few days again. (This app is highly recommended by one of my cherished T1 support groups and I'm so glad I decided to give it another try.) Thank you SugarMate for offering such a incredible platform and allowing T1's everywhere the peace of mind and ability to manage our diseases the best way we can. I really enjoy the mini 6 hour graph and seeing that beautiful flat line!

5/5I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Favorite T1D app⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We have used Sugarmate for several years now for our child. We have several devices and apps that we use to manage his blood sugar. (Omnipod, Dexcom, Loop, NightScout, Dexcom clarity, Dexcom follow + many more we’ve tried) and I always end up referring back to sugarmate. I like the interface, I like the flexibility, I like the ease. We use it on our watches, in our cars on via Apple CarPlay. We use the alarms and the urgent low phone call is amazing. I think this app would also be extremely beneficial to someone who is using injections instead of pumping, because you can easily track injections, carbs, activity, anything at all. SO customizable. You can even search nutrition info. The responsive of the developer on several occasions (haven’t had app problems in quite a while) was terrific as well. He helped us troubleshoot in a very timely and personal manner. CANNOT give enough stars or say enough nice things to describe sugarmate. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5/5LOVE THIS APP!!
As a parent of a newly diagnosed teen, hearing about this app (in early 2022?) finally allowed me to sleep! She can log all of her data in one place, AND if she drops low I get a call that wakes me and I’m able to set what her “low” threshold is! I love that while I’m driving I can see her numbers on my Apple CarPlay! The only thing I would like to ask the developer is to allow us to pick and choose what data we want in the report similar to what clarity does. I dislike that app and dexcom because they have been so OFF lately for us. But being apple to send reports to her doc with only the information they’re asking for would be REALLY helpful! Ps. Is there a way to read her numbers from another account similar to what follow does? I’ve not found a way to do this yet. Now that’s she’s 2 years into her diagnosis I’m constantly sharing this app to other parents! It has given me some peace of mind I didn’t know I needed!! 💙
