I use this every day, multiple times every day in fact. It’s an invaluable tool for me to be able to look at my day. Compare my day to the same day last year. Compare my month to the same month last year and take the pulse of my business at any given moment. The granular detail provided on my phone even when I’m away from the store. It’s just so informative and so important thank you SQUARE.

This app is great to view your reports instantly no doubt, but can you pls add a clickable button to see what refunds were processed because I get anxious about it because it’s money. Other than that, would recommended this app

1/5Recent redesign is bad
Very difficult to pull up daily data from over a year ago. You used to be able to select the year, month, then day. Now you are given the current month, and you have to click the back arrow to cycle through the months one at a time. My business is very seasonal, so I frequently like to look up data from a specific day or holiday weekend and compare it over the last several years. Now if I want to look up a date 5 years ago, I have to click the month arrow 60 times, while it moves up and down with the calendar. Extremely frustrating. I will change the review if this gets fixed.

I mostly would use this for managing staff hours from my phone, and it barely works for that. I can’t delete shifts when a staff member clocks in/out by accident (if it’s zero hours, I should be able to just delete it). I can’t add someone if they forget to clock in because the app forces me to add an end time to any shift being edited or added. So half the time, I still have to leave whatever I’m doing and get on the computer, anyway. A pretty terrible app. (The Teams app doesn’t have any of that functionality, either, since it’s just for employees and not for managing time sheets.)

1/5I want to quickly track sales to the previous year, dashboard certainly doesn’t do this!
I want to compare this Saturday to 52 weeks ago not last Saturday or how about yesterday to the 52 weeks prior Friday. This month to last years month to date not last month or last month to last years October. Ideally I could put in a default comparison range. At least though when I hit the arrow to go to yesterday or last month etc I’d like for it to keep my selected 52 weeks prior or last years month. I use this app multiple times a day am driven mad that it doesn’t keep my selection. 😡

was working fine and then now just crashes every time I open it. I have tried all the routes square have given to me and the only response I got was "well use the web app" thank you square. will be moving to light speed or another competitor after this response

          "body": "Very difficult to pull up daily data from over a year ago. You used to be able to select the year, month, then day. Now you are given the current month, and you have to click the back arrow to cycle through the months one at a time. My business is very seasonal, so I frequently like to look up data from a specific day or holiday weekend and compare it over the last several years. Now if I want to look up a date 5 years ago, I have to click the month arrow 60 times, while it moves up and down with the calendar. Extremely frustrating. I will change the review if this gets fixed.",

          "body": "I mostly would use this for managing staff hours from my phone, and it barely works for that. I can’t delete shifts when a staff member clocks in/out by accident (if it’s zero hours, I should be able to just delete it). I can’t add someone if they forget to clock in because the app forces me to add an end time to any shift being edited or added. So half the time, I still have to leave whatever I’m doing and get on the computer, anyway. A pretty terrible app. (The Teams app doesn’t have any of that functionality, either, since it’s just for employees and not for managing time sheets.)",

This month to last years month to date not last month or last month to last years October. Ideally I could put in a default comparison range. At least though when I hit the arrow to go to yesterday or last month etc I’d like for it to keep my selected 52 weeks prior or last years month. I use this app multiple times a day am driven mad that it doesn’t keep my selection. 😡",
