1. 4/5Great app - STEEP PRICE!!!

   I have used this since LITE version was available years ago. Love the app but $7 a week? $60 a year? $160 one time? What this app does, it does very very well. When compare to hardware solutions, this is a deal but in the app space, the price is quite large. I will keep using it as it does what nothing does to this degree - the trimming, and especially ability to set individual track levels is not offered from anything else I have found on the app stores. I edited my review as it was originally more harsh (I really do think the price is highly unusual) but I have toned down my complaints here b/c the bottom line is your app is currently one-of-a-kind so in the world of supply and demand, I guess whatever you can convince users to pay is actually your win. Although I’m griping about the potential cost, TO BE CLEAR: THIS IS AN EXCELLENT APP. I do appreciate what you have made and will continue using the free version. (Maybe I’m just too cheap!)

2. 5/5Perfect App for Sports Music, Sound Cues & Live Event Audio!

   I don't usually write reviews, but Soundboard Studio absolutely deserves one. I used the free 7-day trial for our Youth Football games, and it completely transformed how we manage music and sound effects on game day. We use music during warm-ups, timeouts, and key moments. I used to rely on iTunes, but it was too easy to lose track of what was playing. Soundboard Studio makes everything simple tap to play, tap to fade out, and you can set every track to start exactly where you want it. This level of control is perfect for sports, events, and live sound. Folders keep your audio organized, it shows which tracks you've already played, and importing from iTunes is seamless. I even added sound effects for the games, and the crowd loved it. Using it on my iPad is ideal-the touch interface is fast, accurate, and reliable. I can't wait to use this app again next season. If you run music, sound cues, or audio for any live eventsports, theater, schools, or productions Soundboard Studio is an essential tool. Highly recommend!

3. 3/5Toast to the end of expensive hardware!

   This app is going to change the hardware industry. I have said it to the creator of this app directly. I am an audio professional for over 20 years and this will replace an $1800 unit! I feel sorry for these hardware manufactures. Even the free version is better than the old units that are still used in shows and theme parks the world over. Their day is done. 1) The old units have to be recorded in real time and edited linearly. Annoying to say the least. 2) you can label this clearly by act or scene and add unlimited boards. No hardware system does that. You have to have a paper work to remember what que is what. For these and many more reasons I say to those in the playback hardware world. Jump ship! Run for your lives! Quickly invest in Apple stock and get out, because the upstart iPad app has finally overtaken you! 😜😆😂

4. 1/5App freezes, Refuses to open

   I just downloaded this app today. It seemed great at first. I built two soundboards and they worked great. They were both fully customized. It took spa lot of work, but I appreciated the options and flexibility. However things quickly went south. When I switch over to another app and back, the app froze and closed itself, then refused to open. It was just a black screen for a while then closed. I restarted my iPad, fully shut it down, closed all the apps. Nothing changed, it just would not open. I had to delete the app, download it again, and start all over from scratch. Seemed to work then. In the middle of remaking the second soundboard, I had to go out to get a package. Came back, unlocked my iPad and the same ******* thing happened. The app just refuses to open. All that work is lost again! Screw this app. Now I’m looking for another good soundboard

5. 1/5Extremely Confusing (and just bad) App Design

   I open the app for the first time. What am I even looking at? “Well, didn’t the app tell you (aka give you a tutorial?” NO! Absolutely no tutorial. There *might* be one in the settings, but NOBODY should have to go *out of their way* to get a TUTORIAL of all things. Then, the app is just extremely confusing. I pressed a button. Apparently one to delete “pads”… which I didn’t have. And it didn’t have ANY way to close out of it! I had to restart my app each time just to escape. There’s no names for the icons, so you’re left gambling what each one will do because you have to figure it out yourself. There’s absolutely ZERO organization to the settings. Even so, the descriptions they DID provide for select few toggles made no sense anyway! I figured out how to import my audio, and then I did. It… worked! Quite easily, actually. You press it, and it simply plays. I enjoyed that part!… …but they somehow managed to screw THIS up, too. Every time you tap one of your sounds to play, it makes your whole screen… bounce. (Yes, your screen wobbles up and down with each tap.) Then, it makes your screen scroll down, hiding your sounds out of your tapping reach. “Well, why not just scroll back up so you can reach/tap them again?” Because… you can’t. There’s no way to scroll back up to get your sounds back on your screen. At the end of the day, the app works, but there’s so many glitches/bad features and confusing functions that it’s more of a hassle than a help to use. I wouldn’t recommend this app; don’t waste your time.
