1. 1/5This app is NOT free as advertised…

   Users are not going to be more compelled to pay rent for this app by deceptively advertising it as being “free”, then having a “free trial” window open up. Sure… you can skip that part. But then you try actually using it the way this was intended to use, and once again, you’re with the free trial window, which asks for your credit card information in order to initiate it and actually use the features And the features aren’t anything special anyways. You didn’t even include a flanger as one of the effects. Only delay and reverb, which delay I use sparingly, and reverb I never use

   This mixing app has been a big part, along with multi-track, of a 73 year old music lover’s ability to record over a thousand songs during the last 24 months. I’ve covered the songs that stuck in my head for over 65 years. I will enjoy these recordings when I can no longer play. I can gift or haunt my Grandkids when I begin harp lessons. This app has let an old man share the music of my lifetime, my “Remnants from the Recliner”. Technical support over 2 years has been minimally needed, but they were there to assist with any issues..Thank you, it’s difficult to express how grateful I am. Thank you, Marcel Truax

3. 5/5A must have app for audio engineers/musicians who work remotely on iOS

   This is a must have app for audio engineers and musicians who work remotely. I gave Audio Master 5 stars because it is very functional, stable and there are no ads. No nonsense, just a completely free and flexible audio mastering app. I use it mostly when working remotely; GarageBand iOS is awesome, but when you exports/bounce, even if you gave the master FX/EQ down to about -10dB, it still seems to apply normalization and it will be pretty loud. These days, I use the Garageband iOS FX/EQ master fader down to -10dB workaround trick, and then bring that .wav or .aiff into the Audio Master app. This allows me to regain control and adjust the volume of the .wav premaster. The app never makes you watch an ad to unlock features, and I’ve never seen an ad once. It doesn’t crash, even on my seriously outdated iPhone XR. I also love that it allows imports and exports of 24 bit audio, and there is a “Save to Files” and other share file options. A must have app for audio engineers/musicians who work remotely on iOS. 5/5!

4. 5/5AWESOME! *Update*

   When I first downloaded this app I was unable to use it at all. A bug had its way in and prevented me from getting past the welcome screen. After speaking with Gary at MicSwap, they have fixed the issue and the program is working properly. This app is amazing! The different options and features are perfect for honing the sound I’m looking for! Can’t wait to get into mastering more music in the future!

5. 2/5I have to pay a subscription to download the master?

   I did not know this, kinda felt cheated out especially since it doesn’t specify exactly what i’d be paying for. I went in thinking I could master a track and just share it to myself, sounds simple enough, until I try to share the track to my files only to find out I have to pay for that? The worst part to me is that the subscription service that is offered when I click share doesn’t specify what i’m paying for either. Is it to save it? is that all i’m paying for after I had mastered a track? It just seems trashy when it doesn’t even specify what I’d be paying for if I was, but I find out when I had just finished, which I found incredibly frustrating and is something that should be changed. Besides that, the mastering is great. I like the systems and how easy they are to use, but I do wish for more transparency when it comes to the subscription and not being able to share, as if that were mentioned from the start instead of me being able to dive in quickly, I would’ve been fine, though I would’ve instantly deleted because i’m broke. However, the app never does that, as soon as you think “this is the perfected version of my track”, you have to pay to save it, which is simply very odd, considering the majority of the people who will be looking for a mastering app are artists who do not have the money to pay for a subscription, even no matter the cost. The way the mastering works? I’d give five stars, easily made a track I made sound exactly how I wanted it to. The transparency and the total lack of regard for the artist to save a mix from an alleged free app? Two stars. I wouldn’t be mad if it was stated at the beginning that this was a paid service, but it isn’t, and even when you see it, it never says what you’re paying for exactly. Have a good rest of your day and please be more transparent.
