   I’m getting accustomed to the platform and see the potential, but in my early experience it seems like a lot of the useful services are paywalled. I don’t necessarily have an issue with an app/service generating revenue, as it’s often naturally the incentive, and, therefore, point of development. However, I do think there should be enough of a credible, established user-base and legitimate opportunities offered as a base tier, making it useful for everyone, with a paid tier being offered to those who want to utilize those services to a greater degree. This seems to be a more common and utilized model in apps that are successful. Give some to get some kind of approach. However, I am still familiarizing myself with the app in its entirety, so in the event that I have missed part of the picture, I will be sure to update this review. I see potential here, but think it could be further developed. I’d be happy to be proven wrong.

2. 1/5Does nothing for normal everyday people.

   This app does nothing for regular people trying to find others at their level. I’m very busy at work and have very limited time and equipment and I’m just looking for some every day diamonds in the rough who don’t work in big studios, don’t have a silver spoon in their mouth, and have a compatible style to my own. I’d like the app to give the option to list and search skill level. Also I didn’t sign up in the app to waste my time worshiping famous and well known bands. This app is supposed to be for us underdog unpopular musicians to find others like us. I shouldn’t have to be forced to list those famous bands and have my news feed be littered with news about them. I don’t go to band classifieds to hear popular band news, that’s what a Google search is for. This app does nothing for the little guy. I’ve been patiently searching for like a year for any semblance of normal everyday diverse people who like to tinker with music programs, experiment with the instruments instead of always relying on samples, aren’t perfect at mixing and polishing, and just want to make art without being obsessed with sounding like some pretentious snooty popular band or same old watered down modern trap sound powered by a major label. WHERE ARE ALL THE NORMAL UNDERDOGS!? Very frustrating experience.

3. 3/5Great Idea Super Buggy

   I like this app, it’s connected to me to some great people but I’m finding bugs. Sometimes the app stops working and the screen just turns white and it’ll be like that until I delete and redownload the app. When you accept connection requests on a profile, it stays as a request in your notifications until you also accept it as a request there too. If you click ignore in the notifications after accepting the request from the profile…it deletes the connection all together. Also I’ve been contacted by people pretending to be others, and scam artists as well. I report and block but I feel like it doesn’t do much. A suggestion I would like to see is that when you click report you should have specific options of what to report them for like harassment or pretending to be someone else for example. I will say that when I emailed support about my issue with someone pretending to be someone else, they were very swift and I appreciated their help a lot.

4. 3/5Focused on trends not function/user friendliness.

   Upon initial download, this isn’t a bad app. It lets you connect with a lot of people, and has a decent profile system. Now onto all of the issues; You are counted for swipes on a no!? This is the first app where I am punished for swiping past someone who has labeled themselves as a “venue” while I am trying to search the platform. Speaking of venues, apparently there is no verification for that, I have yet to see an actual venue on the platform, just random rappers putting it on there because it gets more eyes on them. All of these issue wouldn’t be so bad if they had done anything to make the app better, instead we have a fully functional tiktok within the app, because that’s what everyone wanted, not better location searching, not more swipes, not a system for venues that makes it easier for both parties to find each other, we wanted mostly poor quality videos of live performances. How frustrating as a musician to have an app dedicated to helping you, and it focuses all of its efforts on being trendy and basically forcing you to use the premium version if you want a half decent experience. I would be happy to pay for the service if I felt the money I was spending would be used on anything other than cramming random trendy things into the app and ignoring what little customer base you have. My only positive is I have met one decent musician through this app, but other than that I have had it for close to 2 years with no real contact, or if they do the conversation fizzles quickly

   Been on this app for almost a year and just want to personally thank the team for continuing to support and updates for this app. I've connected with many great musicians and artists because of this and am happy to see it grow over time. While I know you are already working on many improvements, but here are three of what I personally believe are the most important things to prioritize (in order): - - - 1) Fixing messages & profile disappearance glitches - I'm sure you're already very aware and have working on it for awhile already. This is the biggest thing holding this app back. - - - 2) iPhone X support - Not very difficult to update and will go a long way in terms of professionalism and app support. - - - 3) Improving the way you connect after swiping right - I have 412 notifications from artists who have 'connected' with me, but only like 30 or so messages from those who have actually reached out. I believe it would improve the app if the list of "connections" and the list of "messages" were separated in the app as it gets pretty jumbled up mixing the two together. It would also be great to be able to separate the connections that you added with the connections who added you. - - - 4) (suggestion) Replace the "Favorites Artists" tab with something of more substance - Very very rarely have I looked through this part of someones profile when deciding to connect with them or not and yet this is the first thing you see. I think this would be a cool place to allow for a longer description of "What are you looking for?" or something similar. Just a suggestion! - - - Hope this helped the app developer or whoever. This app is very close to be great and I'm excited to see it continue to grow!
