   I love how compact this app is! I cannot stress how important it is to have the ability to add your own custom brush shapes and not be stuck with default shapes. It’s got a good system for blending. Maybe some abr brush support in the future and a reference window that can add multiple images? And a palette section? Keep up the good work! 💖💎💖💎💖

2. 4/5Need ability to assign shortcuts and gestures + image reference feature!!!

   I’m a new iPad/ tablet user trying out different art apps. So far! I’m loving the experience with Pastela because it reminds me much of Paint Tool SAI, a drawing program I’ve been using for 8 years. i only wish for the ability to change and assign shortcuts, plus a built-in image reference window. Thanks

3. 3/5Selection/transform tool issues

   Enjoying the app so far, and I love the brushes. Some of the only issues I’ve been having is with the selection tool, and extreme difficulty with transforming/reshaping/resizing the selected area. First of all, I’d love to see a feature where you can add to the select area. As of now, you can only select one area at a time and if you try to select another part, the first selection gets deleted. Its extremely inconvenient if you want to select very precise areas, to make a new selection every time you want to change the parts you select. I don’t want to completely redraw the selection every time I want to add like 5 pixels. Most users need to select their entire lineart, which requires a super precise selection and a lot of attention to detail; it’s unrealistic to perfectly outline your lineart with the selection tool all in one go without every moving around, zooming in/out, and fixing mistakes. This is the only part which I find significant subpar to other drawing apps. Additionally, after you do select something, the transforming process is quite laggy. It often glitches and is hard to control. Ex. I wanted to lengthen a selected area, instead, the selected part shrank in the other direction, and often doesn’t respond to touch/swipes. This happens with both finger and stylus. I think there should be more than one transform mode too, like a mesh transform mode so you have more flexibility and control.

4. 4/5Excellent, but could use some work with checking the layers!

   I am in love with the pen pressure and the brushes in this app!! But when I check the layers, specifically looking for the background, it’s usually buried at the bottom, with me being unable to find the background layer unless i remove/delete my other layers to find it. It’s very tedious to me, as sometimes I’d want to export my drawing to be transparent!! I’m in love with everything else, but I believe that a fix in the layer system and perhaps a reference window could definitely help.

5. 4/5Excellent but one thing…

   I love this app, it’s creative and I can do Whatever. May need a glow tool for gems ( I put those on a lot ) or a blending tool not that the smudge is bad though. Just as I said this is a amazing app. I love that I can make my own colors and there ain’t ads. I wish also that I could make a background not just color ,and sometimes the layers clip over the top layer! It makes me mad. :D
