1/5The biggest scam. Save your money!
Brands: DO NOT JOIN. Especially if you are a small business and cannot spend a bunch on influencers. We are a small, female owned business and were looking to grow our customers. We joined ltk with high hopes because they promised access to all sorts of influencers at different budgets. At $6000 it was quite an expense but we justified it by thinking of the amount of sales we would get. After using it for 5 months and trying every practice they recommend, I realize it is a total scam. We have sent over 200 offers to influencers with ZERO response. The ones that did respond were often flaky and the few we got to post for us equaled almost zero sales. Most of their engagements were other LTKers scratching each others backs. There are also all sorts of glitches on the platform. Messaging will be down for weeks and no influencers can write us and have to reach out on instagram. Often the follower count is not actually correct. When I mentioned this to the representative they laughed at us and refused any sort of prorated refund. Save your money and contact influencers directly on IG. You will save a ton of money as their rates on LTK are inflated.

Why did they get rid of the item preview before linking out to the product’s website? This feature allowed you to see the item name and price point before deciding if you actually wanted to open the linked webpage. 1. This was helpful because many of the creators provide two or more options of an item. Now you have to go to the webpage to compare. The result… a ton of open tabs leaving you to try and figure out which ones you want to come back to in order to make purchase. 2. This also allowed you to save favorites specific to an item in a post. The creators I follow almost always link several items to a post. Now when I go back to review my favorites I have to remember which item I wanted to save and if not, open up multiple web pages causing the same problems as I refer to in point 1. It’s messy and unorganized and I am wondering who was polled before this non-customer friendly change was made. As a daily user, this is a huge turn off. Update- it has gotten worse! Now when you tap the link to look at a product, because they got rid of the preview feature, you loose your place in the app. In other words if you are scrolling through the creators you follow, clicking a product link makes you have to start again at the top of all of the posts you already reviewed instead of taking you back to where you left off. It is also a shame that I have not received any app designer response even though this review is in the top five. Why are they not addressing customer concerns?

DO BETTER!!! All the updates to this app are absolutely ridiculous and have done nothing to really help it. First of all, all the products that I have saved over the last five years are gone. Only the most recent products I have saved are still there so that alone is enough to make this app horrible. As others have stated when you tap on an item the price and where it’s from used to pop up and it doesn’t anymore. Which is also frustrating. Now on all of the reels when you go to click more so that you can see all the sizing and details they put in the videos all it does is pause it no matter how many times I tap it, there’s not one time that I’ve been able to hit more in the last couple weeks and actually get the information that I need. I used to be a part of like to know it and an influencer, and if I was still doing it, I would be extremely frustrated with all the updates y’all are doing to this and are just making it harder for influencers to get their money. most of the time I just go off my own to find the products or the information that I need because your app is just too frustrating to want to continue to use.

UPDATE APRIL 2025: Somehow, you’ve managed to make the app even worse with this latest update. Not only does my original review stand re: loss of product card previews, but now, you’ve made the item thumbnails so small, it’s impossible to identify the item you actually want to view. Super annoying, especially when it comes to creators who link 20+ “similar” items in their post. AND, you took away the ability to zoom in on images. Seriously. What are your devs and UX/UI designers doing over there? You’re clearly NOT listening to ANY of the feedback you receive from end users (especially those who aren’t creators, like me, who used to love this platform for shopping.) ORIGINAL: Please. Bring back the product cards that show you a preview of the item in question. Forcing redirects to external links in a new browser window or app is not a great user experience. I want the item snapshot first. I want to decide if I open the link in order to purchase the item through a specific creator. Taking away product cards did not make this app easier to use. It made it clunky and cumbersome for those of us who use it to browse and shop.

3/5bring back the old version!
This app used to be the best! It was incredibly helpful for finding clothes and seeing them on creators similar in size to me. The recent updates have really done a disservice to the functionality of the app as a whole. I’m not gonna bother repeating what the other recent reviews have already stated because they’re all correct. The other annoying thing that they changed is when you click on the little thumbnail of the product under the post, it immediately opens an external browser to go to the link to the product. Whereas before it would just make the product image larger first with the details of where it’s from, price, etc and then if you wanted you could click on it to go to the link for the product. It was overall a much better app when the criteria to actually become a “creator” was more strict. Now it seems like anyone can be a creator If i wanted to know joe shmo’s favorite pair of jeans, i would just go on TikTok. There are something’s that should stay exclusive to top-performing creators/influencers and LTK is one of them.

          "body": "Brands: DO NOT JOIN. Especially if you are a small business and cannot spend a bunch on influencers. We are a small, female owned business and were looking to grow our customers. We joined ltk with high hopes because they promised access to all sorts of influencers at different budgets. At $6000 it was quite an expense but we justified it by thinking of the amount of sales we would get. After using it for 5 months and trying every practice they recommend, I realize it is a total scam. We have sent over 200 offers to influencers with ZERO response. The ones that did respond were often flaky and the few we got to post for us equaled almost zero sales. Most of their engagements were other LTKers scratching each others backs. There are also all sorts of glitches on the platform. Messaging will be down for weeks and no influencers can write us and have to reach out on instagram. Often the follower count is not actually correct. When I mentioned this to the representative they laughed at us and refused any sort of prorated refund. Save your money and contact influencers directly on IG. You will save a ton of money as their rates on LTK are inflated.",

          "body": "Why did they get rid of the item preview before linking out to the product’s website? This feature allowed you to see the item name and price point before deciding if you actually wanted to open the linked webpage. 1. This was helpful because many of the creators provide two or more options of an item. Now you have to go to the webpage to compare. The result… a ton of open tabs leaving you to try and figure out which ones you want to come back to in order to make purchase. 2. This also allowed you to save favorites specific to an item in a post. The creators I follow almost always link several items to a post. Now when I go back to review my favorites I have to remember which item I wanted to save and if not, open up multiple web pages causing the same problems as I refer to in point 1. It’s messy and unorganized and I am wondering who was polled before this non-customer friendly change was made. As a daily user, this is a huge turn off. Update- it has gotten worse! Now when you tap the link to look at a product, because they got rid of the preview feature, you loose your place in the app. In other words if you are scrolling through the creators you follow, clicking a product link makes you have to start again at the top of all of the posts you already reviewed instead of taking you back to where you left off. It is also a shame that I have not received any app designer response even though this review is in the top five. Why are they not addressing customer concerns?",

          "body": "DO BETTER!!! All the updates to this app are absolutely ridiculous and have done nothing to really help it. First of all, all the products that I have saved over the last five years are gone. Only the most recent products I have saved are still there so that alone is enough to make this app horrible. As others have stated when you tap on an item the price and where it’s from used to pop up and it doesn’t anymore. Which is also frustrating. Now on all of the reels when you go to click more so that you can see all the sizing and details they put in the videos all it does is pause it no matter how many times I tap it, there’s not one time that I’ve been able to hit more in the last couple weeks and actually get the information that I need. I used to be a part of like to know it and an influencer, and if I was still doing it, I would be extremely frustrated with all the updates y’all are doing to this and are just making it harder for influencers to get their money. most of the time I just go off my own to find the products or the information that I need because your app is just too frustrating to want to continue to use.",

          "body": "UPDATE APRIL 2025: Somehow, you’ve managed to make the app even worse with this latest update. Not only does my original review stand re: loss of product card previews, but now, you’ve made the item thumbnails so small, it’s impossible to identify the item you actually want to view. Super annoying, especially when it comes to creators who link 20+ “similar” items in their post. AND, you took away the ability to zoom in on images. Seriously. What are your devs and UX/UI designers doing over there? You’re clearly NOT listening to ANY of the feedback you receive from end users (especially those who aren’t creators, like me, who used to love this platform for shopping.) ORIGINAL: Please. Bring back the product cards that show you a preview of the item in question. Forcing redirects to external links in a new browser window or app is not a great user experience. I want the item snapshot first. I want to decide if I open the link in order to purchase the item through a specific creator. Taking away product cards did not make this app easier to use. It made it clunky and cumbersome for those of us who use it to browse and shop.",

          "body": "This app used to be the best! It was incredibly helpful for finding clothes and seeing them on creators similar in size to me. The recent updates have really done a disservice to the functionality of the app as a whole. I’m not gonna bother repeating what the other recent reviews have already stated because they’re all correct. The other annoying thing that they changed is when you click on the little thumbnail of the product under the post, it immediately opens an external browser to go to the link to the product. Whereas before it would just make the product image larger first with the details of where it’s from, price, etc and then if you wanted you could click on it to go to the link for the product. It was overall a much better app when the criteria to actually become a “creator” was more strict. Now it seems like anyone can be a creator If i wanted to know joe shmo’s favorite pair of jeans, i would just go on TikTok. There are something’s that should stay exclusive to top-performing creators/influencers and LTK is one of them.",
