   I had a terrible experience using this app today. I placed an order for self pick up, and I got there around the time that the app said the order was going to be ready. But I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for the food to be ready. I had to contact customer support to finally get my food. But then when I got home, I opened the packaging and found out that two items from the combo meal were missing. I contacted customer support again, and they offered a $5 coupon. But the value of the missing items should be at least $10. Overall a terrible experience. Would not use again.

2. 1/5The Slowest Delivery

   This review is not about the app, but about the company overall. It is the slowest food delivery app that I have used. Last Sunday I ordered dinner at 6pm, at 8pm the food was still not there so I contacted customer service who told me they would ask the driver to prioritize my order. At 8:30pm I saw on the map the driver’s getting further away from me so I contacted customs service again and requested a full refund. They did and said the food wouldn’t be delivered since I was refunded. I said the refund request was based off the extra long waiting time after I contacted customer service and was told they would prioritize which did not happen. They arranged to have my food delivered at around 9pm, already cold. And guess what? They later removed my account. This is the worst food delivery company and the customer service is just the “cherry on top.” Update: Thanks for your response. I am not able to provide the order number since my account has already been wiped out. I tried to use my phone number to log in/register and talk to the “customer service” again thinking I could at least use the APP for pick up orders, but I guess my phone number got blocked for good. I feel retaliated because of the refund and guess the company doesn’t need me as a customer so I deleted the APP for good.

   Experiences has been ok so far. No complaints on delivery. It really allows me access to Asian foods that I don’t really know where to find or can’t easily travel to. The only thing is that this platform is so expensive compared to all the other delivery apps. Coupons and deals feel like targeted tricks to get you keep purchasing and does very little to actually drop the cost. My food usually end up being $10 more expensive than the listed price (excluding the tips). Tips itself (the lowest one) vary from $3-6, but I can’t say much to that, I guess. Overall it has been a great platform for me to access and review Asian foods. But I try to stay away from it, or just end up going to the physical store after trying it on this app instead of delivering due to its cost. If my order is going to be 30% more expensive than the actual food, I might as well just go outside and eat at the store.

4. 2/5Poor corporate and consumer practices

   - (NEW!) Hidden fees: the app now hides in small text the fact that it automatically adds $1 to the order for tips. This is on top of the tip that you specify you will pay. I should also note that the app never makes clear that the tip goes directly to the drivers. - A lot of fake pictures of dishes (that do not resemble the dishes made by the actual restaurant). This happens when a restaurant doesn’t have a picture for a dish; the app would just use a generic picture of the dish that often look better than what the restaurant actually cooks. - Fake dish descriptions (which are made to look like they come from consumers’ reviews and/or are written by restaurant owners) - High service fee (much higher than the competition) - Deceptive coupons (e.g., 40% off coupon that can only apply for orders over $15 but is capped at taking off only $3; in effect the coupon would only be 40% off if the order totals $7.5, but the coupon cannot apply to such an order.) - Requires a minimum of a $1 tip, but does not clearly state that the tip goes directly to the drivers (the app only says that the tips will be used to improve drivers’ benefits). Some other suggestions/criticisms that are not deal breakers: - A crowded user interface: many ads and promotions plastered in the app. A lot of push notification ads. - Many Chinese restaurant are only on Chinese/Asian delivery apps so it’s hard to order on other apps to get lower service fees. - In-app tip calculation unconventionally takes into account tax and service fees (but tax and service fees have nothing to do with the restaurant or the delivery person).

5. 1/5No Real Customer Support – Case Closed Without Resolution

   I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one. I mistakenly selected the wrong branch of a chain store due to the app’s search result layout. I immediately contacted customer service. A phone representative called me and initially offered an $8 coupon. I expressed that I would prefer a partial refund instead, and I was told they would escalate the request and call me back. They did call again, but I missed the call. Instead of attempting further contact, they unilaterally closed my case and rejected the refund. After that, I was told to use online chat support. The chat agents refused to reconnect me with phone support and insisted on offering only a $10 coupon. When I asked to speak with a phone representative again, they declined and did not escalate the request. There is no accessible customer service phone number on the website or app. The generic U.S. phone number provided by chat leads only to automated messages with no option to reach a live agent before the call disconnects. To make matters worse, after I raised these concerns, the chat agents stopped responding altogether. At this point, even receiving the coupon seems uncertain. This is not about the refund amount anymore. It’s about accountability and access to real customer support. Closing a case simply because a call was missed — without providing any proper follow-up channel — is unacceptable. A platform handling payments should have transparent and reachable customer service. Unfortunately, this one does not. Very disappointing experience.
