   I only recently started using Weee after quarantine in March. The first time we ordered, food did not arrive until after 9pm and we were extremely disappointed as it was a restaurant bundle and we were counting on it to be dinner. However, we do live in an area that probably has less Weee users and I’m guessing the driver did not anticipate how far out in the *boonies* we live. After that, we have consistently received our food between 12-4 pm, the earliest was before 12pm. I order weekly to biweekly, and I tip generously in double digits on account of how far the driver has to drive, regardless of how much I order. (Bc lets face it, I order from them bc I don’t want to risk my health or drive 40-60 minutes to the nearest Asian supermarket). Refund request are easy- just a few push of a buttons and I have never had an issue. Sometimes I’m missing an item or two bc the inventory ran out- I can just ask for a refund if they didn’t already issue it automatically. If item is less than satisfactory, refunds can be issued as well. Produce and meats is, for most part, very fresh and comes in great shape. Sometimes you get a dud- but its the same ordering from any online grocery service or even buying fruit yourself in person- sometimes even though fruit looks beautiful and is heavy, it just tastes awful. So I think people should not be expecting 100%- at 90%, I’m pretty happy I don’t need to go out to get the food I want.

2. 5/5Amazing and fast delivery!

   While the Weee team seems to still be expanding their amount of Hispanic products, their Asian products are plentiful and amazing. I initially avoided the app for a while since I thought it was a subscription service, but once I realised it was actually a grocery delivery service I had to download it. I was hoping they’d have stir fried anchovies in soy sauce, which they did not, but I found SO many other amazing things. My order consisted of about a dozen items and all of them are very satisfactory. Nothing was damaged during shipping and all the items were there, packed carefully into the box and in date. The only thing I was a bit sad about is that you can’t seem to tip the deliverers (?? if there is an option for that let me know because I’m bad with technology), and the deliverer went down my apartment stairs so fast that I didn’t get a chance to thank them before they got back in their car. I ordered BTS coffee, white coffee, 바나나 우유, yogurt drinks, baby star ramen snacks, garlic peas, seaweed snacks, instant rice with seaweed soup, instant miso soup, salmon skin chips and grilled squid flavoured potato chips. All of the products were AMAZING (aside from the salmon skin chips which I unfortunately just didn’t like as much, nothing wrong with the product itself though) and I’m so happy to be able to buy more of these because I live in a very white area where there’s no Asian markets less than an hour away. I assume that all the bad reviews about expired food and rude deliverers are just trying to ruin the reputation of the company because it’s very Asian based. Amazing experience and it’s pretty cheap too!

3. 3/5Why are the East Asian sections highlighted more?

   Now I’ll start off by saying that I haven’t ordered anything yet from this app, so I won’t rate too harshly. I just wanted to mention the lack of representation on this app and on their social media accounts. Starting off with the app itself, it seems that the only foods that are really focused on are the East Asian foods. As an Indian girl, I got so excited to see other Asian cuisines, such as those from India, the Philippines, and Vietnam, get highlighted as well, since I feel like that’s rarely ever the case. However, my excitement turned to disappointment pretty quickly when I found how limiting the Indian section was compared to the Japanese and Korean sections. Going through the Southeast Asian cuisines I ran into the same problem. It just irks me to see this because of the already limited representation that south asians and southeast asians get in the media. Now of course it’s important for East Asians to have representation too, especially with the horrible ways in which they have been treated ever since the pandemic, but since weee advertises the diverse collection on their app, it seems shady and insincere for them not to commit fully to that diversity. To give them some credit, they have been pretty good about posting for latino heritage month, and the Mexican section on the app seems to be doing a lot better than the South and Southeast Asian sections, but it still doesn’t hold a candle to the East Asian selec

4. 5/5I love WEEE!

   Updating my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. During pandemic, my experience with Weee was terrible. All of the items that I ordered that were marked as “out for delivery” was all the sudden out of stock only hours before arriving. It was very confusing because why would it be “out of delivery” if it was out of stock? This happened twice and while I got my money back, I decided not to use it anymore. Pandemic was a weird time for us all anyway. I moved on and forgot about it. The pricing and item selection was amazing, and Weee was maybe too good to be true. And then this year, I saw Weee trucks near my house as I was coming home. And my colleague was talking about Weee at work the same week. The two coincidences had me browsing this app again and decided to order one more time. The last two time, I received a refund for “out of stock” orders so I figured I’d have nothing to lose. And I received everything in mint perfect condition. I’ve been using Weee ever since and will continue to do so. Thank you so much for improving your app and making this a dream come true. I love the selection and I’m recommend it to everyone.

5. 1/5Rotten food

   How is it that sayweee has absolutely no Google reviews? Okay so my last order came with mold on the string beans. I’m talking fuzzy mold. I’m talking visible through the clear bag it was packaged in! My basil was all rotten. There were no useful leaves at all. You have to be an idiot to pack that up and ship it out. Please do not think those 75 percent off items are a deal. The higher the percent off the closer the expiration date. Not to mention you have to buy those items in bulk. Three or more. Go try it. Add it to your cart and watch it say you have to buy three or more. It’s your responsibility to clear their shelves. Like what? It seems as though that also goes for regular priced items under two dollars. Let’s get to their frozen goods. The pork in particular. I’ve bought ground pork, thinly sliced pork and pork belly slices. They all have an overwhelming smell of pig. Nothing like the pork you get in normal supermarkets. I mean I can let a normal pork chop bought from a supermarket go bad and it still won’t smell as bad as their fresh pork. I was almost under the impression they were selling bad pork as well. It just looked to fresh. It was really pink. So it’s either no good like the rest of the stuff or boar taint. Look it up. It is absolutely disgusting. I’ve actually had enough. I’m reportng them to both my state attorney generals office as well as ISD. They shouldn’t be in business.
