1. 5/5The buggiest app on my phone

   I shop mostly at hannaford for groceries since I live so close to one, but holy cow is this app poorly programmed. Any other app that crashes as often as this one would be off my phone, the only reason I keep it around is so I can check and clip my “for you” coupons but I really would love to know what resources you have dedicated to this app because there’s no reason it should be as glitchy and buggy as it is. Do you have app testers and do they experience the same number of bugs and you just ship it anyways? just trying to click the side menu will crash the app sometimes, there are so many different ways it’s crashed on me I don’t even know how I can provide helpful feedback other than advising that whoever is charge of managing this app needs a new team or a bigger team or both.

2. 2/5Useful, but buggy, sloooooow and crashes

   I’m so frustrated by this app. I store my usual shopping items in a shopping list, and select those I need to add to my basket for my weekly shop. So I need this app, it’s so useful to me and if it runs well, then it saves me soo much time in doing my grocery shop. If it runs well. If. After selecting the boxes it’s a toss up if it’ll crash or add everything . Restart the app.. try again.. Ugh. Today I’ve tried to use the app, but it’s just not happening. I’ve restarted it over and over, but I guess it’s too busy? No other app I have has these issues. Every week I select the things I want on my shopping list, scroll up to the top the add.. ok dreaded white screen, selections gone, start again.. long list, takes a long time.. PLEASE FIX APP! Why so long since bug fixes??? There’s so many bugs! App support: please fix this bug - I select a lot of things in my shopping list, then I click the top to get up to the add to cart button. Unless I only have a small number of items the app crashes, and I spend another 20 min selecting all my items again. Please please fix this. I hate it. So frustrating.

3. 1/5Unfix whatever you thought you fixed

   I order my groceries online. I rarely shop in store because I’m immune compromised. Whatever you did to the app/website a few months ago destroyed it. I can’t use the app at all because it puts you in an endless loop of signing in over and over and over again. Tried to use the website several times and it’s impossible to search/sort your searches. Accessing coupons is difficult and you can’t see what items they apply to. It’s sad…. Because I really like your products and your company overall. But if I can’t shop/price compare online… I’m not going to do it. Ease of use is paramount…. And maybe you shouldn’t have “fixed” something that wasn’t broken. Maybe have your developers actually try to use the services. From a phone… from a computer… whatever. Because they aren’t functional. I reported the issues months ago to customer service. And when I spoke to them they advised that they hear it a lot but nobody is doing anything to fix it. You are losing a lot of business.

4. 3/5Typically great; Glitchy now

   I’ve used the app for a few years and had no troubles. However, within the last six months it has not worked well at all. When I open it, none of the buttons are responsive. I have to fully close and reopen the app an average of five times to get it to respond. This is a new problem and I want to use the To Go service, so I ensure it. But it is very annoying. This second issue is not a glitch, but a suggestion to improve functionality. The shopping lists are a great feature. Having the option to switch from one shopping list to my others without needing to go back to my account, select shopping lists, then select the new list I want to see would improve the app. For example, if you open a shopping list, have a dropdown menu available that lists your other shopping lists. It’s like walking around a block and realizing you dropped something 5ft back, but instead of just turning around, you need to walk all the way around the block again to get back to your item.

5. 3/5When it works it’s nice

   Unfortunately I can’t even use the app anymore. It’s got a forever loading symbol, and I can’t even tap anything or use it. When it did work it was slightly annoying with how it took forever just to get to a page. It wasn’t great using the search to find things like other store apps have, you have to type very specific and perfectly. Other store apps just get the idea and give you options when you mistype or you just put half the product name. Sometimes it does do that, but not for quite a few items I know they have in store, and have on their website. When you’re trying to add a product from the weekly flyer, and it lists a few of the options, it will shoot back up to the top when you scroll down and it’s really aggravating. I just want to get my dang groceries, but this app when it does work is quite a nuisance compared to the website on a PC. It’s better than nothing when it is working though. Now it can’t even do that. What’s going on with this?
