I panicked after purchasing a $1,000 last minute trip from Atlanta to Boca Raton, FL. A computer glitch in July 2024 had stranded me in Atlanta as Delta cancelled my flight and all other airlines were booked for the next 2 days. No rental cars wee available. I was desperate to get home. I found this app with a google search. This represents my first and only use of the app. Only after I paid the $1,000 fee on my credit card, did I realize the money was not refundable. Then I read the reviews. Many 1 star reports of being scammed intermingled with a plethora of 5 star reviews. Haw can this be? I gave this app a 4 star review to distinguish my experience from the numerous others, as 2,3 and 4 star reviews tend to be the ones I read first. After paying the $1K fee, my driver stated he would meet me at the Atlanta airport in 1/2 hour for the 8 1/2 hour trip to florida. He spoke Spanish and his English was worse than my broken Spanish. I was convinced he was going to be a no show and chastised myself for failing to read the reviews of the app before paying for my trip. At the airport I found a bilingual traveler who was willing to speak with my driver and gave detailed directions for our pick up. I was very grateful when the driver showed up (he was 15 minutes late due to traffic). In summary, I would have given the app a 5 star rating but then nobody would have read it. Perhaps there are some unscrupulous drivers using this app, ripping off the public. There should be a way to report them and get a refund. Somehow the drivers should be rated separately My driver was wonderful and I got some Spanish lessons along the way.

1/5Don’t Use This App
There is zero customer service using this service. My driver tried to get me to cancel the ride (which all rides are non refundable) and pay him cash to transport me to the airport. I obviously could not do that because all rides are non refundable and also that is very sketchy. He refused to transport me using the app so I had to contact customer support who got back to me 8 hours after I reach out to them and offered me a new ride but I had to approve it but the only way to approve it was to inform them that driver/car was acceptable to me. So after doing that, they had over 4 hours to assign that driver to me and they never did. So not even an hour before I had to leave for the airport I personally had to make a new request for a ride and what do you know, I get an offer from the same car Get Transfer offered me 4 hours before my flight that they failed to assign to me so I had to pay $95 for the ride that was a scam and then $117 for the new driver that Get Transfer already offered to me but failed to follow up on. After complaining to customer support, they refunded me the $95 ride in credits on their app. I just want my money. I will never use this service again because they are incompetent of doing their job. Instead of my ride being $95, I had to pay $212 for a ride to the airport because they are a garbage company that can’t help their customers. DO NOT USE THIS APP/SERVICE!!!

1/5TOTALLY UNRELIABLE!!!
Would give zero stars if possible. I arranged a ride for my child to get picked up from his boarding school and driven to the Boston Logan airport (a 90 minute drive) to catch a flight home, two weeks in advance of his trip... 90 minutes before his pick up time, i found an EMAIL (sent just a couple of hours prior to the pick up time) from Get Transfer letting me know the ride was cancelled & to let them know if I wanted a replacement!!!! First of all, they should have CALLED me, that is urgent information - the airport is 90 minutes from the school- I was lucky I happened to check my email. However- with such late notice, there is not enough time to find a replacement & my son is going to miss his flight home to New Orleans. I called and emailed both Get Transfer and the driver himself using the information provided with the confirmation, and prepaid for the ride ($120) - the driver never responded, but the Get Transfer operators all assured me one week prior that the ride was confirmed. The phone service each time I called was not friendly or helpful, the operators were very impatient with me and insisted that the voucher for the ride was proof that we were confirmed for this transport & that I was unnecessarily worried . This is completely unacceptable service & I would warn others not to use this service if they want/need reliable transportation. They are supposedly working on a replacement, however it has been 30 minutes now since I last spoke to Get Transfer, and I have heard nothing. My son needs to be on the road within the hour to catch his plane flight home.

1/5GetTransfer refuses to pay me
Hi, Mr. Sapov I apologize to have to reach out to you my name is Marvin A Pravia Lara I’m one of your Gettrasfer Partner here in Miami, FL the reason for my text is because I have tried via different avenues to get compensated for the jobs that I did in December 2022, January 2023 and February 2023 I was on the 30 days agreement that I usually waited 15 days and my payment was sent, however I received notice from your representatives that you have change it to have to wait 7 months in order for us to get paid. I don’t think that is fair because we put our efforts, gas, money and tolls. To my understanding before there’s a reservation you collect from the clients so your company already got paid is not fair that I don’t get paid even though I’m the one that did the jobs. I have begged and send countless of emails I waited patiently for the 7 months as you know we are already at the end of September and now they are telling I have to wait another 7 months from August because you said, if that’s the case can you please ask your accounting department to pay my invoices it’s less than $4,000 I don’t your company will go bankrupt for that amount. I Don’t want to start putting bad reviews because is bad for business and I don’t want that.

1/5Dishonorable and untrustworthy company
We reserved a ride service a week in advance, from our hotel to the airport. Everything was paid in full and a reservation confirmation was received. The last day of our trip, I received an email from GetTransfer informing me that they were unable to honor the reservation. This email notification was received at 15:30 - our pickup was scheduled for 9:30 the next morning. Instead, they requested a 700% price increase in order to fulfill the original reservation. 700%!!! In addition to this absurdity, after declining the new charge, GetTransfer also refused to provide a full refund. So not only were we given much less than 24 hours notice of this change in plans, but we were left to scramble on our last day to secure a different means of transportation, and we are fighting for a refund. Who checks their email while touring the Italian coast? If I had not logged in to confirm other booking information, I would not have seen the email informing me of their dishonest service. Dishonorable, dishonest company. To date they continue to decline a refund. Ridiculous!

          "body": "I panicked after purchasing a $1,000 last minute trip from Atlanta to Boca Raton, FL. A computer glitch in July 2024 had stranded me in Atlanta as Delta cancelled my flight and all other airlines were booked for the next 2 days. No rental cars wee available. I was desperate to get home. I found this app with a google search. This represents my first and only use of the app. Only after I paid the $1,000 fee on my credit card, did I realize the money was not refundable. Then I read the reviews. Many 1 star reports of being scammed intermingled with a plethora of 5 star reviews. Haw can this be? I gave this app a 4 star review to distinguish my experience from the numerous others, as 2,3 and 4 star reviews tend to be the ones I read first. After paying the $1K fee, my driver stated he would meet me at the Atlanta airport in 1/2 hour for the 8 1/2 hour trip to florida. He spoke Spanish and his English was worse than my broken Spanish. I was convinced he was going to be a no show and chastised myself for failing to read the reviews of the app before paying for my trip. At the airport I found a bilingual traveler who was willing to speak with my driver and gave detailed directions for our pick up. I was very grateful when the driver showed up (he was 15 minutes late due to traffic). In summary, I would have given the app a 5 star rating but then nobody would have read it. Perhaps there are some unscrupulous drivers using this app, ripping off the public. There should be a way to report them and get a refund. Somehow the drivers should be rated separately My driver was wonderful and I got some Spanish lessons along the way.",

          "body": "There is zero customer service using this service. My driver tried to get me to cancel the ride (which all rides are non refundable) and pay him cash to transport me to the airport. I obviously could not do that because all rides are non refundable and also that is very sketchy. He refused to transport me using the app so I had to contact customer support who got back to me 8 hours after I reach out to them and offered me a new ride but I had to approve it but the only way to approve it was to inform them that driver/car was acceptable to me. So after doing that, they had over 4 hours to assign that driver to me and they never did. So not even an hour before I had to leave for the airport I personally had to make a new request for a ride and what do you know, I get an offer from the same car Get Transfer offered me 4 hours before my flight that they failed to assign to me so I had to pay $95 for the ride that was a scam and then $117 for the new driver that Get Transfer already offered to me but failed to follow up on. After complaining to customer support, they refunded me the $95 ride in credits on their app. I just want my money. I will never use this service again because they are incompetent of doing their job. Instead of my ride being $95, I had to pay $212 for a ride to the airport because they are a garbage company that can’t help their customers. DO NOT USE THIS APP/SERVICE!!!",

I arranged a ride for my child to get picked up from his boarding school and driven to the Boston Logan airport (a 90 minute drive) to catch a flight home, two weeks in advance of his trip... 90 minutes before his pick up time, i found an EMAIL (sent just a couple of hours prior to the pick up time) from Get Transfer letting me know the ride was cancelled & to let them know if I wanted a replacement!!!! First of all, they should have CALLED me, that is urgent information - the airport is 90 minutes from the school- I was lucky I happened to check my email. However- with such late notice, there is not enough time to find a replacement & my son is going to miss his flight home to New Orleans. I called and emailed both Get Transfer and the driver himself using the information provided with the confirmation, and prepaid for the ride ($120) - the driver never responded, but the Get Transfer operators all assured me one week prior that the ride was confirmed. The phone service each time I called was not friendly or helpful, the operators were very impatient with me and insisted that the voucher for the ride was proof that we were confirmed for this transport & that I was unnecessarily worried . This is completely unacceptable service & I would warn others not to use this service if they want/need reliable transportation. They are supposedly working on a replacement, however it has been 30 minutes now since I last spoke to Get Transfer, and I have heard nothing. My son needs to be on the road within the hour to catch his plane flight home.",

          "body": "Hi, Mr. Sapov I apologize to have to reach out to you my name is Marvin A Pravia Lara I’m one of your Gettrasfer Partner here in Miami, FL the reason for my text is because I have tried via different avenues to get compensated for the jobs that I did in December 2022, January 2023 and February 2023 I was on the 30 days agreement that I usually waited 15 days and my payment was sent, however I received notice from your representatives that you have change it to have to wait 7 months in order for us to get paid. I don’t think that is fair because we put our efforts, gas, money and tolls. To my understanding before there’s a reservation you collect from the clients so your company already got paid is not fair that I don’t get paid even though I’m the one that did the jobs. I have begged and send countless of emails I waited patiently for the 7 months as you know we are already at the end of September and now they are telling I have to wait another 7 months from August because you said, if that’s the case can you please ask your accounting department to pay my invoices it’s less than $4,000 I don’t your company will go bankrupt for that amount. I Don’t want to start putting bad reviews because is bad for business and I don’t want that.",

          "body": "We reserved a ride service a week in advance, from our hotel to the airport. Everything was paid in full and a reservation confirmation was received. The last day of our trip, I received an email from GetTransfer informing me that they were unable to honor the reservation. This email notification was received at 15:30 - our pickup was scheduled for 9:30 the next morning. Instead, they requested a 700% price increase in order to fulfill the original reservation. 700%!!! In addition to this absurdity, after declining the new charge, GetTransfer also refused to provide a full refund. So not only were we given much less than 24 hours notice of this change in plans, but we were left to scramble on our last day to secure a different means of transportation, and we are fighting for a refund. Who checks their email while touring the Italian coast? If I had not logged in to confirm other booking information, I would not have seen the email informing me of their dishonest service. Dishonorable, dishonest company. To date they continue to decline a refund. Ridiculous!",
