1. 1/5Return/ Exchange Policy

   I normally love shopping at your stores but I won’t be doing so any longer due to your policy of not taking returns or giving an exchange after the expired date. I’ve been truly sick and unable to return some items bought from your store. When I felt better I returned not only to return the items but to shop as well. Upon finding what I wanted I went to the cashier. She looked at my receipt and told me it can’t be returned nor exchanged I was a bit surprised and asked why. She told me that management has updated the policy and pointed to this notice on the counter in microscopic prints of the changes. Mind you ALL the other signs in the store are painted in large fonts so you can’t do it can’t be missed and yet the policy changes are in very small font. Seems to me you this was done purposely so it can be missed by your patrons and when they’ve missed bringing something back after the expiration date you can happily point your finger towards your return policy that NOBODY is going to read due to it being in small prints! That is distasteful of your company and you know it. You’re taking advantage of your customers and you’ve just lost one. Good luck with your dishonesty!

   Express needs to upgrade with modern technology and stores that have apps. My biggest issue is there is not a “favorites” or “wishlist” option. I reached out to customer service because I was for sure that could not be the case and I was missing it. Nope. You have to add an item to the cart and then add to save for later. In the modern day of technology, why? Also any order I have ever placed online, is NEVER in my purchase history. For example, I purchased jeans last week and received today and went to the app so I can see which jeans they were since they fit so well. Nope, not there. The only order that has EVER shown in my purchase history is another order that I ordered online for the first time to pick up in the store. The store took all day to fulfill, so I arrived at the store and purchased the item directly and had my pick up item canceled. Oddly enough, the only order that has ever shown in my purchase history. Express needs to get with the times and fix this antiquated app before customers not want to shop on here with the app age, it should be a lot better.

3. 5/5Quality, Dependability, Convenience

   Having a grown son living 900 miles away can make gift giving a difficult process; especially when his birthday is on Christmas Day! However, I love having an account with Express and I can either shop near my home or online. I usually shop online. I can find so many items that I know he will like and look great wearing and the quality of the clothes are wonderful. I can have everything shipped to him and anything that doesn’t fit or he doesn’t like; he can easily exchange at the store in the city where he lives. I also pass on to him my extra coupons in case he wants to purchase gifts for friends or more items for himself. It makes things so easy for us both. Last year I wrapped the presents and took them with me and it filled my car! Having everything shipped to him is much easier. I can wrap them when I get there. Thank you Express for making my life easier and I know I am giving wonderful gifts!

4. 4/5Great app usually, but glitchy

   I use this app regularly. With a busy job and five small kids, it’s like my only form of window shopping and my actual only way to shop for my own clothes with some dignity. That said, every time they run a good sale, which is semi-frequently, the app freezes and you get multiple “Oops, something’s wrong” pop ups. I wouldn’t care if this was just sporadic like on Black Friday when they usually run 50% off the store, but it’s becoming much more frequent of a thing. Also, this is recent, but all the new arrivals and everything you browse using a filtered search works until you click on something. Once on the product page, the back button disappears from the top of the page and you have to start all over by clicking Home again. This is the first and only thing that’s encouraged me to get rid of the app altogether. I love their clothes and the app is generally user friendly, but it’s frustrating when you’re just looking at varieties of size 6 black jeans and have to reload the search constantly.

   People would buy more online as well as bringing more foot traffic in your store if u HAD A SHIP TO STORE or STORE PICK UP OPTION, Pluss The convenience will be Welcomed by customers, as it will drive up your foot traffic which equals in store sale, gaining business and a chance on improving your brands image because you can spin it as if “you care about our wallets and can say “you’ve listened to customers concerns & suggestions and after sympathizing with the customers realize we care about you &you care about your wallets so we are implementing “SHIP TO STORE” people like me will drive to mall to pick up the item shop at other stores until entering yours whom then look around; if you always have a discount/clearance rack near counter {LIKE PERMANENTLY HAVE ITEMS EVERY DAY EVERY STORE ;OR SPECIFIC ITEMS YOU BUY TO SELL ON THOSE RACKS or sell ur OVERSTOCK or actually BUY OVERSTOCK JUST FOR THAT RACK)people will see SALE and may buy However the Discount rack only entices them wetting their appetite OR teases them into becoming more curious and shop around more looking for other deals! But the convenience factor, you care about saving us $ ;will BE YOUR MAIN SELLING POINT to public for PR publicity also driving up interest in social media, news and stock prices which puts you on people tongue! Oh how I’d love it if you told me before hand IF you were GOING to use my idea!!! Anyways food for thought! Thx mike DeRosa
