5/5Incredibly effective
I think like a lot of people I viewed learning a language as this Herculean task, something only the most dedicated or intelligent people could accomplish, outside of moving to another country and being forced to learn it from intense immersion and classes. But I can definitively say that using comprehensible input, and specifically Dreaming Spanish as a platform for the past 8 months, has completely changed my life. I went from knowing next to nothing in Spanish to being able to converse with native speakers and understand what they’re saying almost completely. But there’s a catch: this is not a program that you simply do for 10 minutes a day mindlessly on your lunch break to keep a streak alive. You have to watch the videos and you have to take the time to watch them with attention. There’s no shortcuts to language learning, but there are straightforward paths. Dreaming Spanish has been without a doubt the most straightforward, easy to follow path to learning a language. I’m actively speaking a language that last year I didn’t even know how to form a basic sentence in. This method works. Will it be quick? No. But it will be as simple as watching Spanish videos and following along. And it won’t be a waste of your time like Duolingo.

5/5Worth your time
I’ve tried so many other Spanish programs and always quit out of frustration. This is the only one I’ve stuck with. It takes awhile to understand and really apply the concepts of comprehensible input language learning but once you get the philosophy and trust it, learning becomes more natural. I recommend reading the FAQ and learning about the process on the website Dreaming Languages. I can understand basic Spanish conversations among native speakers now and am surprising myself at how much I’m able to comprehend with each month spent watching videos. And I love all the content creators. Very interesting and likable people. It feels like a group of friends. I highly recommend the app without reservation.

5/5Daily habit with real results
I started watching/listening every day on the website about 18 months ago and my Spanish comprehension has grown so much. This is by far the best method for me. The content is engaging and I often exceed my daily goal just because I’m enjoying what I’m watching. The app has a few advantages over the website: if you turn your screen off, the video audio keeps playing so it’s great for listening on walks and such. I also like the courses section in the app (it seems to be all the videos ordered by relative difficulty). I hope they keep growing the platform - I’d love to apply this technique to every language I’ve ever had an interest in!

5/5Kinda hooked!
After trying several ways to learn Spanish I decide to give dreaming Spanish a try. I set my daily goal at 30 mins. A week of that and I moved my goal as I was getting much more input than that. I’m up to 2 hours a day and I’m addicted! I’m understanding so much more than I ever have before! The app lets you set your own goals, track progress and how long until the next level. You can hide watched videos if you so choose or go back and rewatch them. It’s easy to sort based on all types of criteria. I’ve recommended this to everyone I know! I have the paid version but the free is just a good! Do yourself a favor and use this if you want to learn Spanish!

5/5Smashed thru the intermediate plateau with Dreaming Spanish
I really can’t thank Pablo, all of the amazing creators, and the Dreaming community enough. I started learning Spanish 17 years ago, and stayed in the infamous intermediate plateau for most of that time. When I recommitted to improving my conversational fluency and discovered this resource + comprehensible input as an intervention for my stasis, my world changed and upended my view of how language learning really works. Within 100 hours, I filled uncountable gaps in my knowledge and have come out a Spanish speaker that speaks with no hesitation. I am now an evangelist for Dreaming Spanish and CI and I don’t care if it’s annoying! ¡Más input!
