1. 5/5I TRULY HATE THIS APP MORE THAN ANY APP I HAVE!

   I’ve had this app downloaded forever! But I have never got to use it as long as I’ve had it downloaded! It either doesn’t let me sign in, when I have it on… leave me signed in, or when I’m putting in my order it will sit there and spin and pop up… WOOPS Something went wrong… if and when I finally get my order in… it has never taken my card for the payment!!!!! Of course when you call the restaurant itself they tell you that you have to come in! The whole point of me having these apps are for the points and curbside because I can’t stand on my legs for any period of time! I’ve never received any points, promo codes, I mean to tell you I have never received anything for the hundreds of dollars I’ve spent with Cracker Barrel! I have even stopped going because of the hassle, and waiting one night over 2 hours for them to bring out my food and them saying it was my fault when I clearly had proof I called them when I got there on my my phone! The food at this location has really dropped the quality from what it used to be as well and that’s from several people saying that. Oh I did send a letter to the corporate office about the night I waited for 2 hours. Never even received a response from them!

2. 5/5Fantastic Experience lead by Destiny!

   My husband and I dined with our two grandsons. Though the menu was limited, the experience was wonderful. We all had very different meals and everything Kyle , Joseph and Steve cooked was perfectly done and delicious. Service was lead by Destiny. She was friendly, and attentive! We lacked for nothing. Courtney and Joshua, though there is a family connection, were also a shining example of friendly service. Ackia was very friendly and helpful with merchandise and sales opportunities. We asked to speak to a manager to relay our good experience and manager Kelly was available quickly and was very pleasant and engaging to speak to. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend this store.

3. 1/5Basically non-functional

   I downloaded the app yesterday and placed an order successfully for a meal I picked up last night. Today, I used the app to place another order. Even though I had already entered my personal information such as my name and the make of my vehicle and my phone number, I had to re-enter all of that information, even though I was signed in. I put my order together for two dinner entrées, entered all of my payment information and hit the button to confirm the order. The app gave me an error message saying that my order couldn’t be completed because my app is out of date. It instructed me to go to the App Store and download an updated version, even though I had only just downloaded the app from the App Store about 24 hours ago. But I went to the App Store anyway. It indicated that the most recent version was two weeks old, clearly issued before I downloaded the app yesterday. So I went to the website instead. I signed in. It recognized that I had an order already. But the button to take me to my order was unresponsive. So I went ahead and duplicated my entire order and went to my cart. There I saw my order that I had put together on the app. This was a disappointing waste of time. It would’ve been much much quicker for me to call in my order. Cracker Barrel needs to get some professional IT support.

   I normally use the Cracker Barrel app to order curbside but the pass two times I came in, I had to come inside to place my order due to the app not working correctly. I proceeded inside to place my order along with another gentleman. We place our orders right after each other. He left with his food about 40 mins before me. I was very Patient. I ordered home style breakfast with a take home chicken and Mac. Ok, so I noticed while I was paying for the order, the take home chicken on the app was $6 and on my receipt it said $7.99. I asked the sweet lady at the register about it. She got me a manger. He told me the app and the store are different and that different locations have different prices. I explained to him that I selected this location and that I normally used the app to get my food curbside and the only reason I am inside placing an order is because the app is down and I really enjoy the food here. I was told that there’s nothing he can do about the app price vs the In store price. I said ok fine. At this point I was just ready to get my food and leave. I paid and waited. Also I gave the to go sever my name and she placed the order under a table, probably the reason they could not find my order. Finally my food arrived. When it arrived the order was missing the Mac and cheese. Omg this is not going well. They had to call another person out front to tell me they don’t serve Mac and cheese until 11. I said I can order it from the app but why can’t I get it in the store. So basically I paid $8 for a piece of fried chicken. She then realized the order was wrong. I received a hot chicken instead of the cold take home meals. This is so infuriating and to top that, this is in my birthday. I seen a lady come in, sit down and eat and leave before I got out the door. I have made the decision I will not be eating here again

5. 5/5Been enjoying since their origin in the South.

   This is our tradition stops for breakfast and/ or supper on our trip to the United States. We were happy to see when they moved north to Wisconsin. As a stock holder in the company, I’m a little concerned about the stock value right now, but I’m hoping things will get better!! I am concerned about the talk of their changing their decor to contemporary. My friends and I like the old country casual decor that has been their signature over the years. I love their country store when my children and grandchildren were little. I always found something very cute and different in the country store. Now that I’m almost 80 I’m finding that the candy selection is always a winner! 🥹😝
