   Texas Roadhouse is hands down the best option for family meals and my go-to spot for football nights! The food is unbeatable—whether you're digging into their perfectly cooked ribs, tender pork chops, or delicious steaks, everything is packed with amazing flavor. And let's not forget those iconic rolls and cinnamon butter—they're out of this world! Not only is the food great, but the prices are super reasonable, making it a top choice when you want a great meal without breaking the bank. The family-friendly atmosphere is perfect, and I always leave satisfied. I'm such a fan that I’m already planning to celebrate my graduation there! Who knows, maybe one day I’ll even score Texas Roadhouse for free for a year—dream big, right? Whether it's for a special occasion or just to enjoy some football with great food, Texas Roadhouse never disappoints!

2. 5/5Always great service at the window

   I wanted to take the time to say what an exceptional job and customer service that I get when picking up from the window on my order food pick up. There has always been this one girl who always asks if I want bread or if I need anything extra and she always has a smile and gets things correct and timely. These days it is very unlikely you will get good customer interaction with customer service and every experience that I have had with getting my orders have went smooth and I feel appreciated as a customer. So I feel that when I see work like this being practiced I feel like that should be mentioned and they should definitely get a mention for the care they provide with their work. It stands out and they should be definitely acknowledged. So thank you gals in Tracy at the pick up window, I’m always ordering house side salads but it makes my day knowing I can go here and know my order will be correct.

   The restaurant in ephrata pa , just stay away. I’ve gotten take out from there twice and I suggest you just stay away. The first time the steak was hard to chewy and rubbery. This last time things were way worse. The employees working the take out window are all very young , with no older supervisor in sight. When you order thru the app they give you a very specific pickup time down to the minute. It doesn’t say estimated pick up time it clearly say come here and pick up at this time. Both times I ordered I recurved a notification that my food was done way ahead of the time they told me to pickup . At least ten minutes early. This last time I have received salmonella poisoning for the first time in my life. I general am very careful with what I eat and do to my work being physically active I Irarely get sick and have lived a very happy 44 years of life. Until now. This place needs proper food and safety training for its younger employees. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. The day after I ate food from there I started experiencing symptoms the next day they were exponentially worse . Four days in and I am feeling better but still experiencing symptoms. My health is my livihood and this experience has rocked my world as I am not able to perform at the high level required of my job. Do yourself a favor and just go to the grocery store and buy your own steak and fixins to cook yourself. I wouldn’t go into detail of what specifically and the severity of my symptoms but I do not feel this is the proper place to go into graffiti detail.

4. 2/5Frequent visitor, terrible app experience

   I was honestly shocked to see such a high app rating, so I’m now questioning if it’s just my store experience. We visit the TXRoadhouse in McKinney TX often...like once a week usually, and sometimes more. What can I say...quarantine has really changed us. We use the waitlist feature often. When you add yourself to the waitlist, it sends you a text. I wish everything was done through the app vs text. However, when we text the restaurant back to let them know we’ve arrived, they will often never respond. So after waiting 15 minutes, we will go in the restaurant, and they will seat us right away. I’ve asked the staff why this happens, and their response is “oh we had a shift change and didn’t see it”. Except, this happens to us at least 75% of the time. We either have really bad timing, or the system doesn’t work well. Additionally, we’ve tried to place to-go orders. Every time we get to the end of our order amd ready to check out, we get an “error validating basket” notification. On top of the fact that it’s already not user friendly, I will probably never try to order pickup again. There is no place for notes within the item you are ordering - for example, asking for dressing on the side. I will often have to back out and try to add an item to my cart again due to an error. And then I get to the end, and have never been able to place an order successfully. I think the app is a step in the right direction, but needs massive improvements. A rewards program would be a nice addition, but I’m mostly biased based on how often we visit.

5. 1/5Worst experience possible

   I’m forced to order via technology when I call the to go order phone number. NO HUMAN on other end. I’m told I can download the app OR receive a text to link me to order. I choose text-TWICE-nothing... So I reluctantly go to App Store to download- go through the whole tedious order- TRY to set up account- restaurant receives my order - I know this because I receive text saying so. Text tells me to text back HERE when I’m at the to go pick up. I respond- text won’t go through. GOOD GRIEF- I’ve been sitting in the parking lot pick up location THIS WHOLE TIME just trying to save us getting out of the car. All of this leaves a very bad taste in our mouths (pun) concerning doing business with Texas Roadhouse. I still am not able to set up account... We detest going in to sit for a meal because of the ridiculous sing/dance routine the wait staff is forced to do. Makes me just want to hang my head for them/ it is SO embarrassing. Food is decent but this whole order / app / phone failure is just absurd.
