1. 5/5Life as an employee has never been easier

   WOW! THIS APP! 🤩 I was previously at a company that used Amex and Concur and the new company I’m at uses Brex and I couldn’t be more pleased with how easy it is for me to handle company purchases. I no longer forget/lose my receipts because the app sends me a notification every time I make a purchase and lets me know which action I need to take (receipt or memo or both). I’m no longer dealing with confusing expense reports that take me literal hours. All my cards are at the touch of a button and I can easily add them to Apple Pay. I don’t know why a company would ever use anything other than Brex! If you want happy employees I highly recommend Brex!!

2. 4/5Mostly Great, but…

   All around, Brex is a good service. A smooth interface, easy color scheme, functional menu, handy system, and general usefulness are a few of the good qualities. A++ to its multiple account capabilities (though currently only available on the website), super quick and free domestic wires, multiple company owner acceptance, text-back feature for receipt saving and such, great accounting help, and so on. The awfully long time it takes to deposit a check, the limited app features (though they say these will be resolved in coming months, at least as of Jan 2022), the lack of allowing several physical cards, the lengthy questionnaire forms for check & wire sending/receiving, the annoying incompatibility to instantly receive funds like any other bank via debit card transaction through services like PayPal or Venmo… yeah, these are all not great features. But overall, Brex has room to grow and improve. I could really see it becoming a seriously amazing, ultimate #1 business banking solution… and I’ll certainly update this review when it does. ;)

3. 5/5Best Business Banking!

   I can’t say enough about Brex! They have made things so easy and saved me money running my international business. I can make wire transfers without any hassle or extra fees! It’s incredible. Im so happy I found them. I’d definitely recommend this company to any business looking to switch banks or set up a new account. You won’t be disappointed Only thing I wish is that direct deposit was faster. It can take a few days…but it’s a small price to pay (no pun intended) considering everything else!

4. 2/5Aggravatingly Limited

   I’ve used a few different deficient mobile apps over the year—Concur, Expensify—but for all my complaints, I find myself longing for their sweet embrace again. This app is a train wreck. iOS sharing functionality to Brex is extremely limited, it seems completely unwilling to believe that I might dare have a receipt in PDF format, and rather than assuming an unmatched receipt might be a new expense to ingest and process, it seemingly rejects it for lack of matching. Perhaps that works better if you exclusively use their payment card rather than a personal card. When it does work in its limited capability, it’s fine. Pictures seem to be fine for receipts, for example, but those longing to long press their hotel receipts into the app will not find relief here. Off thee to the web page and actual functionality.

5. 5/5Great App; Needs Enhancements

   Overall, it’s a good app but very basic in tasks that can be completed in comparison to when signed in on web browser. The app should at least allow the Admin/Account Owner to issue Virtual cards and Invite folks to onboard to the account. As it is now, the app pretty much allows for Deposits, Transfers and view/approve Transactions. To summarize, add more capabilities for Admins and also create a view for iPads. My iPad view looks like I’m viewing from my phone. It should scale and fit the entire screen.
