   I have two other kids, my first I had completely alone. I remember those nights so vividly. Up at 3am, running on a broken 2 hours of sleep, nursing my daughter alone, so desperate for someone to talk to; for someone to understand. I often found myself thinking “there has to be someone out there doing this same thing right now, I can’t be alone.” And that thought got me through the hard hard nights. I had my third baby a few months ago. This app has changed my life. On my “on” nights (dad takes the others), when I’m up with my son at 3am, I don’t sit alone. This app has created a sense of unity. To know I’m not alone, and to physically see I’m not alone, has changed my world. Dad is so supportive, but he doesn’t understand the feelings of postpartum or nursing your baby from your body. Having a community of moms who understand and are right there with you has made those postpartum nights so much better. I cannot explain my love for this app!!

   Most moms know what it’s like to be deep in the newborn trenches—but motherhood doesn’t stop there. It’s the late nights, the endless to-do lists, the moments of feeling completely overwhelmed, and the incredible responsibility of having little humans who depend on you every single day. That’s why this app is such a gift. It provides a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where moms can openly share their thoughts and emotions, knowing they’ll be met with understanding, encouragement, and validation from other mothers who truly get it. Whether you’re navigating the newborn stage, chasing toddlers, or raising older children, there’s comfort in knowing you’re not alone. I cannot recommend this app enough. It’s a reminder that motherhood was never meant to be done in isolation. There’s no handbook for being a mom, and sometimes all it takes is hearing “me too” from someone who understands. This app helps create the village every mother deserves, and for that, I’m incredibly grateful.

3. 5/5Most support I’ve ever had 🥹

   When I first saw the beacon app I thought it was just another one of those free trial then you have to pay and half the time it’s not worth it, but honestly- it’s the best support I’ve ever had. I struggled through some dark times with my postpartum depression. Being up at 2 in the morning feeding a baby can really drain you sometimes. Being able to see all of the beacons lit on the app gives me strength to keep going. It makes me feel less alone. I can see that other moms are going through the same thing. And the best part is it’s all anonymous. You can vent and ask for advice and anyone can answer. I’ve loved my experience with beacon so far and would HIGHLY recommend you getting it. You’re not alone.

4. 5/5Missed opportunity to provide resources to struggling moms and babies!

   This app is very comforting postpartum as it helps you to know you’re not alone when you’re up at all hours with baby, and allows you to relate to other moms. HOWEVER, the creators really need to add a feature that allows you to report or flag users who post concerning messages.. With PPA/PPD being so common, it’s really a missed opportunity to get resources to a vulnerable population. I’ve seen some scary posts and been very concerned for the safety of both moms and babies, but am left feeling helpless because there is no way to bring attention to this! The app should readily share options for help for those who need it and posts should be moderated with the option to report.

5. 5/5Such a helpful wonderful app

   I remember postpartum nights with my first and doing it alone due to her father working I felt alone sitting in my bed feeding and changing with the alone company being my cat (which I love and appreciate) I wish I could have had something like this to see I wasn’t the only one awake at 2:30 am fighting to stay awake. I just had my son 6 weeks ago and thought to try this out. With him it’s not so easy to remember feedings and changing on top of a pump schedule while caring for my almost three year old my pets and my home let alone remembering to shower. I love that this app allows me to keep track of all of that feedings changing and pumping. This is truly a helpful app to new or experienced mothers.
