1. 1/5From an outstanding App to worst!!!

   I started using this app in May 2019 on my iPhone and I loved it and enjoyed the airline and its professional employees. For some reason, starting this year Avianca has changed for the worse from customer service, and plane accommodation for less than 5 hours, and now the app has started acting up with problems logging in, failing to post my Lifemiles flights or it disappearing 2 weeks after my latest flight. Currently, I cannot log into the app because it's saying: "Sorry this device cannot be considered safe and you will not be able to use the application." This isn't making any sense because I never had a problem with it before plus I use a VPN and other protection from viruses etc. There's nothing on the site to address the problem and I'm not the only one. I'm not sure if they have anyone monitoring this app review. If they don't fix it, it will downgrade the outstanding past reviews it was known for great service and app. Please let's fix this problem.

2. 4/5Pretty good app, but I have a question.

   First of all, lemme start off by saying that this app is great for tracking when your flight is open for check-in, though I’ve never used it, I have a flight coming up with Avianca, and the app shows how much time you have until the flight, like how many days and hours left until your flight. I only have one question to ask, which is can you only earn LifeMiles when you have booked the flight, or can you earn LifeMiles for a flight when you’ve just made your account when you’ve had a flight booked.

3. 1/5Worst airline app ever

   This app is very poor. As an app itself, it does practically nothing. Any action you want to take – check-in, assign seats, buy service - is actually done on the website in a pop-up window, rather than in the app itsel. You might as well just go to the website. In addition, there is no means to sign into the app. You add your info (confirmation number and surname) and it is added to your flights. While that does simplify things, it also means that either you can’t sign into different accounts or that if someone else wants to use the app on your device, they can’t or their information won’t be private. I also don’t see a means to add payment methods, either in the website or in the app. Moreover, there does not seem to be a location for you to pull up your boarding pass, a basic function, it seems. Plenty of other complaints, but the long and short of it is that this app is worse than useless because you spend a lot of time trying to do things and then find out you can’t, at least not easily. Overall, I find the app useless

   Despite the current market conditions, where margins are increasingly compressed and the supply of airline services is higher than ever, Avianca continues to stand out as a market leader. Yes, there is room for improvement—this is true for any major airline operating in such a competitive and challenging environment. However, consistency, route coverage, brand recognition, and operational experience still make Avianca the preferred choice for many travelers in the region. In a crowded market, leadership is not only about being perfect, but about remaining relevant, trusted, and chosen. And Avianca continues to be exactly that.

5. 1/5No saved profile, can’t cancel flights

   1. You can’t add/save traveler information. You need to add all the information every time. 2. If you use the app to book a flight, pay, complete, it disappears from the app. The app can’t find it. You might not even get a confirmation email, like me. You now have to memorize what your departure time was so when you get to the airport you can have them find your reservation. There seems to be some disconnect. It’s like when you book, it goes to a website in the app. And the website can’t communicate back to the app what just happened. So the app has no idea that you just booked a flight. This might be the rain why you can’t save traveler information and have to start all over again with every booking. There is also some kind of disconnect between Avianca and Lifetime miles. Even though you are logged into the app, it has no idea you have a lifetime miles account. You have to manually enter your lifetime miles account number EVERY single time. You’re better off using an app like Expedia. It will remember your lifetime miles account number. It will save your traveler information and apply it when you book a flight. It will immediately show you your flight in the app that you just booked. It will even send you a confirmation email. It will offer to add your booking to your phone’s calendar. It’s also next to impossible to cancel your flight with Avianca through their app. To this day I never did find an option to cancel. I finally gave up after hours of searching, googling, and talking to their automated assistant on WhatsApp (useless). It was easier to just buy another ticket with another airline than to cancel a ticket with Avianca.

   it will be nice if you can indicate the time correctly in the app A.M or P.M !!! no just showing the numbers! pls pass this on to the app developer they are real idiots for leaving that giant small detail! reading the reviews I wish I could had book with American Airlines better app!!

   App will not allow me to book a flight or check flight pricing. It continually resets to the main page when I attempt to put in a destination, which is horrible. Please fix
