1. 5/5I finally got the hang of it!

   I’ve always wanted to learn crochet and this app has made it so easy to learn. They teach you the basics and they provide endless patterns from easy- difficult difficulty patterns so you never get bored. They provide videos to fallow along and you can also take a picture when you mess up to help you understand what you’re doing wrong and teach you how to fix it. Totally worth the money if you want to learn and advance in crochet quickly. Very impressed! Some constructive criticism from me would be that it would be helpful if they mentioned how much cord/ yarn you’ll need for each project at the beginning of the project so you don’t run out mid project ( would also love to know where to get some of these yarns they use.) Also being able to zoom in on the videos would be a very helpful learning tool as well.

   I’m a beginner crocheter, and I’ve been seeing so many ads for this app, and the only thing that threw me off was that the adds are ai. I looked at some reviews though and I decided to get it. Keep in mind, this app advertises itself as free. While the app is free, it only offers about four patterns and a few other ones scattered about that aren’t pro (The free ones are pretty much just the especially bad ones).Pro is a subscription you have to pay for. Also, the tutorials don’t end up looking just like the ones on the video because they are ai slop. So you have to pay for something that won’t turn out right in the end. If your gonna use ai for EVERYTHING, at least go in and fix patterns that are wrong. Not to mention looking at their replies to some of these reviews even those seem ai. I really hope that this isn’t the future of apps and that creative humans won’t get overrun by this slop. Edit: they responded to my review and even that is ai 🌝

   I have been seeing ads for this app for a while and decided to give it a go with the 7 day free trial. The patterns are easy to follow and all the steps were explained carefully. Where the patterns fall short is in the materials list. The yarn description is hard to understand and not specific. Like 4 ply or chenille. I have medium and light yarns (3, 4) that are 4 ply. Which to use? Chenille comes in several sizes. Which to use? Hook size doesn’t always help to figure it out. The materials/supplies lists are incomplete. How many colors are needed and how much of each color? What else is needed - safety eyes, key ring etc. What type and size? Some can be guessed at by looking at the pictures, but they shouldn’t have to be. These issues would make things difficult for any level crocheter especially a beginner.

   It may be too soon for me to review this app since I just started using it yesterday. I’m not a real beginner to crochet, I do know the basic stitches so it was slightly easier to understand what the videos are instructing me. I think the best instructions I’ve read on crocheting came from a beginner’s Woobles kit and from Yarn Pal. The pace is slower for most beginners to catch on with patience. It definitely beats trying to learn from a book. I do wish the ability to save the patterns you want to try becomes available soon. Also, the ability to search for patterns. There’s a lot of cute patterns I’d like to try on here. Still giving it five stars, hoping the app will improve in areas I find lacking. It’s a good app in my opinion.

5. 3/5I don't know how to feel

   this app is great for people to learn how to crochet which I am doing. I’m I know a few basic things, but I still need help learning to do things I came to this app for help and when I came on it I couldn’t like watch any of the videos that should be there when you try to crochet something also things are limited and I only had one use for something and I forgot to specify like it was the whatchamacallit. I don’t remember what it was called the AI generated photo of like a stitch that you want to do and I forgot to specify how big it needs to be and how I would like it and what hook I need to use for it and I tried to do it again and I need to pay for premium to do it again which I am not doing because I’m gonna forget that I’m paying for it and then I’m going to lose my mind because I’m losing money on something. I probably won’t even use the near future. I might use it in the near future, but I need to learn how to make this now because I really want it and since summer is coming up, I’m going to need it if you’re wondering what it is. It is a kind of cover-up, but like there’s some holes in it that make it kind of patchy and it was going to be really cute, but I can no longer make it because if I cannot find anything that’s going to allow me to make it so this app gets a three out of 10. It’s great, but I don’t know if it’s just a glitch for my thing.

   had a 7 day free trial. my cancelation date was July 28th, today. However, by time I got the reminder to cancel, I had already been charged for a yearly subscription. How do you give someone a cancel by date but also charge them on the cancel by date??? Not ok!
