1. 5/5Doesn’t work

   I was really excited to use this app, but unfortunately I tried signing up and everything went well until the slide after “which system do you use”, it’s a bunch of reviews you can flip through for whatever reason (probably because it’s the slide before asking me if I wanted premium..) and I legitimately can’t get past it because the purple “next” button at the bottom of the screen is completely cut off and I can’t press it. So until this bug is fixed, I have to offload this app. I tried everything from shrinking my phone font to trying to force the app into landscape mode, all to no avail. as soon as this bug is fixed, I will re-download and sign up.

2. 4/5Great but 1 suggestion

   I am loving this app. I tried the Knit app that’s similar to this but I just couldn’t get it work with me. I am an avid crocheter & I usually go to estate sales & buy buckets of yarn for cheap. If there is one thing I have realized it’s that I have a ton of discontinued yarn colors. The yarn warehouse feature is amazing! I was able to catalog all my yarn by # of skeins instead of only by weight. Many of my yarns don’t have labels & this was great to be able to organize my yarn. I have 6 - 36 gallon buckets filled with yarn all in my shed cause I do not have space in my little house for it. This warehouse feature was exactly what I needed so I could look at what colors I had without having to constantly go through the shed. The other feature I love about this app is the pdf storage of patterns. I can upload as many as I want (for a small price each month). But I have at least 100 patterns of which I uploaded my most used & likely to use. So I currently have about 25ish patterns stored. This has made it easier to look for my patterns & have them on hand without losing the paper pattern. If can make one suggestion on this feature. Currently you can only look through your patterns in alphabetical order under the pdf tab & there is currently only two categories to sort. Pdf & finished pdfs. My suggestion is that instead of just the two categories can we create our own? I have a wide range of patterns & would like to organize them into my own categories so I can more easily locate the pattern I want faster. This would be amazing to be able to do. This would also make it easier to locate the pattern I’m currently working on instead of having to scroll through my whole list to find it.

3. 3/5Ai Generated Pattern

   I have used this app for years with the subscription option, it has been one of my favorite apps because I love to upload my patterns and use the counter especially now that you can connect to your watch. That being said - I was scrolling through the provided patterns today and saw the “Ai Generated Bunny” pattern. I find it to be lazy and irresponsible especially given how limited the patterns already are that are provided, but I didn’t get the app for the provided patterns so that hasn’t been an issue until now. I’m heavily considering cancelling my subscription and deleting the app. I don’t think I need to explain why this is troubling to me as many of the people who would get this app are already probably aware of the issues in using generative Ai for anything let alone for something like this, but I thought it was important to say since I haven’t seen any other reviews pointing this out. I will say, aside from the blatant use of Ai, the app has been great (although the free version has quite a lot of ads which can be frustrating).

4. 4/5It’s Pretty Good….

   This app is amazing. I love how this is so good for beginners like me because even though everything is abbreviated there’s a chart and vids u can look at to see what everything means. There is just one suggestion I have though…. I mean I know this might be a lot t of hard work for the worker but the instructions should have a bit more detail. Having a picture for every step would show me what my project should look like at that step. If this was fixed it would be a five star from me. Everything else is amazing though! One more thing I forgot to say… I’m just really confused what the point of the yarn library and the hook library is. Not saying it was a bad idea to put it there since it looks like a lot of people like it. I’m just saying I would know what those are for so I can actually use them.

5. 4/5A good app for beginners

   This app is really good but I would like more options to choose from and like tutorials or like instructions for clothes and things like that but other than that everything else is really good because it tells you what kind of yarn you need and it keeps track of what yarn you have and crotchet hooks I really like this app it has really helped me learn more things and patterns and I’m younger than most people that crochet and i understand what I have to do and this app or game is better than most of the ones I’ve tried.
