1. 1/5Inaccurate and hard to use

   The app frequently shows items as being available at my store that are not actually sold there. For example, my husband had to ask where a particular can of fresh crab I wanted was. The associate in that area said they didn’t understand why what I had taken a picture of was still on the app, as they hadn’t sold that brand in a while. The app also says there are things in stock that aren’t. For example, today (8/6/23) it says there is Weis brand pumpkin ice cream available. There isn’t. Searches infrequently bring up items I know the store DOES have. The tags for the items for the algorithms must be extremely limited. For example, I typed in ice cream toppings, and the Smucker’s PB topping that is literally right with the ice cream toppings at my store didn’t come up. I had to search for Smucker’s and find it that way. Also, I searched for hot fudge, and the Smucker’s Simple Delight Hot Fudge didn’t come up. Know why? Because in the app, it is listed as “unflavored.” As is the Smucker’s Simple Delight Salted Caramel topping. The toppings are also listed as being “in grocery.” That doesn’t really tell me where to look in the store to find the items. It also took me a long time to understand where the aisles are listed in the app. “In 9” isn’t as clear as “in aisle 9.” I would also like to be able to zoom in on the pictures of the products. I personally would find it easier to have additional pictures of the products, such as backs of foods and full labels of items with special directions like OTC medications, but I do appreciate that the info is at least on the site in text format. Overall, the app is very frustrating, inaccurate, and difficult to use. I truly do appreciate that the company has an app, and I’m sure it’s difficult to set up all that goes into it, but I feel more time needs put into making it accurate and user friendly.

   They have an amazing team from the shoppers that do the online shopping orders to customer service. If there was ever a problem or there is a product they are out of they contact you to see if you would like something else. The customer service is very friendly and also professional if there is any kind of issues they handle in a timely manner and are always willing to make your online or shopping experience easier. The pharmacy is also excellent I don’t need to contact them for refills they do it automatically for me. The whole staff at this Wei’s market and pharmacy are very helpful and kind and the store is always clean and well stocked.

3. 1/5Fix your app

   I’ve been using this for delivery for a few years. Never had many issues. My most recent delivery was about a month ago. Since then it seems the app changed. I did all my shopping and went to pay I noticed the delivery charge did go down but a clip and collect fee was added. It also added a tip option. A few years ago your policy was not to have that so the new charges plus tip makes the delivery about $10 or so more than it used to be. It also won’t let me check out saying I don’t have a delivery address set. My address is under my account and under my addresses. I can’t figure out where it’s wanting me to put an address. I’m beyond frustrated at this. I didn’t want to go shopping because I don’t feel well and didn’t want to risk making others sick but your app is unusable. Saw another recent complaint about this with iPhone users. So you’ve lost my business until you fix the app.

4. 5/5What a great store!

   I was a little skeptical when they built the Weiss up at Shank Farm Way. Now I absolutely love it. Everyone who works there is helpful, they are always friendly, and never has there been a time when I needed assistance that someone was not immediately available. The produce is amazing, the meat department is excellent and the rotisserie chicken salad in the deli is the best. The store is always clean and items are easy to find. Shelves are stocked and always look fresh and organized. I recommend the store to everyone and I’m so glad that it’s close by and everyone is so friendly!

5. 4/5Glitches early, but got good customer service

   I installed the app and used the option to sign in with Facebook. But when I tried to use the “My Weis” features, it demanded my card number but wouldn’t let me enter it. In using an iPhone and when I tried to enter the number the keyboard simply wouldn’t come up when I touched the field to enter the number. I signed up using my email address and was able to put in my number, but their system couldn’t verify it. I called customer service and a very nice employee sorted out the problem. I’m logged in and shopping now. So far, so good. Their shopping search function is much nicer than Food Lion’s.
