I have had this app for a while and it has worked very well. I have ordered good, specifically pizza, numerous times for pick up and have never had a problem. Until today. The app needed updating but did not work. Wouldn’t update and in speaking to an employee, she had the same problem. So, I had to drive to the store, to the pick up area, explain the problem and then he told to go to the pizza bar to place my order. I was already inconvenienced but then was told I had to wait 20-25 minutes for the 2 pizzas I ordered to be ready. To add to the negative experience, the girl at the pick up area (her tag said her name was HB) had a lousy attitude. I was totally disgusted! Hopefully my order will be correct when I pick it up in 20-25 minutes.

5/5Great food! Could use modifications to the app
I had no clue that Wegmans delivered and was super excited to see this app! I wish there was a section to list any allergens or a note space to write out specific modifications. I noticed that for pizzas, the toppings could be modified but not the cheese and sauce section which would have been nice considering I would have liked non dairy cheese on half of the pizza. I also noticed that there were only 2 types of desserts and would have liked to see more considering there is a whole section of prepared desserts in store. Other than that, great app and amazing food definitely should advertise this service more!

This is the first year in my life that I’ve ever used a meal service for Christmas dinner. I was a little nervous about doing so but I am so glad I did!!!!! I purchased the garlic prime rib roast for Christmas dinner, everyone was raving about it.!!! It was off the chart delicious , melt in your mouth! All of the side dishes where perfect. I’ve purchased The sushi platter and the crabcake platter in the past month and all have been amazing. I haven’t had anything less than delicious so far. Thank you Wegmans catering for making Christmas less stressful and delicious!

1/5Ordering UI is garbage
The ordering UI for this app is hot garbage. The app has order confirmation and payment as separate steps in the order workflow, so it is possible to confirm an order without actually paying for it, which results in the store not preparing the order. The app also allows you to submit orders for “ASAP” delivery, when it is close enough to closing time that the order cannot be filled. Instead of canceling the order, or warning the user, it simply schedules the order for delivery the following morning. The user gets no indication of this, but for the confirmation email. There’s no immediate order confirmation notification, and subsequent order status (which understandably comes later) is via text, for some reason, rather than app-based notifications. There’s

I placed a food order two weeks in advance with a scheduled pickup time of 12:30. When I checked the app at 12:30, it showed the order wasn’t ready, so I had to call customer service to confirm. They said the food was ready, but app still said it wasn’t. I didn’t receive an email notification from Wegmans until 12:50 saying the food was ready. However, when I arrived at the store, the order hadn’t even been packed yet. By the time everything was brought out, it was 1:00 PM—making us late to the event we were bringing the food to. Very disappointing experience, especially after planning so far ahead.

The app has order confirmation and payment as separate steps in the order workflow, so it is possible to confirm an order without actually paying for it, which results in the store not preparing the order. The app also allows you to submit orders for “ASAP” delivery, when it is close enough to closing time that the order cannot be filled. Instead of canceling the order, or warning the user, it simply schedules the order for delivery the following morning. The user gets no indication of this, but for the confirmation email. There’s no immediate order confirmation notification, and subsequent order status (which understandably comes later) is via text, for some reason, rather than app-based notifications. There’s",

          "body": "I placed a food order two weeks in advance with a scheduled pickup time of 12:30. When I checked the app at 12:30, it showed the order wasn’t ready, so I had to call customer service to confirm. They said the food was ready, but app still said it wasn’t. I didn’t receive an email notification from Wegmans until 12:50 saying the food was ready. However, when I arrived at the store, the order hadn’t even been packed yet. By the time everything was brought out, it was 1:00 PM—making us late to the event we were bringing the food to. Very disappointing experience, especially after planning so far ahead.",
