   I’m going to start off by saying I understand the economy isn’t what it was a few years ago, but this is absolutely ridiculous. This is my second time within the last month going to my closest honeygrow location. I order from the app during my lunch break. I checked today very closely to make sure an item (quinoa) was on my order because the last time I ordered, that ingredient showed up on my end as being included in the order but when I picked it up, the quinoa wasn’t in there. The same exact thing happened today but when I checked the ingredients list, it was mysteriously gone off the physical order receipt again. Not only that the portions have gotten astronomically small. $14 for all veggies/fruit with an ingredient missing is way too much for the portion that I’ve received for the 2nd time. If Honeygrow is going to down size the portions, downsize the price as well. I got a good 6 bites out of this “SALAD”.

2. 4/5Literally the buggiest restaurant app I’ve ever used

   It is an absolute coin flip whether I can successfully place an order with this app every single time. Either I can’t even log in or some sort of “network error” happens and I can’t place an order. I’m on an iOS 18 iPhone 11 Pro that’s never had an issue with any other restaurant app. Are you guys are hiring the cheapest app developers or something?? It’s been 5-6 times and counting over the past year that I had to go somewhere else because I couldn’t place an order here.

3. 2/5Save Your Time and Sanity

   This app is garbage. I have tried on three occasions to use my rewards and it constantly times out and doesn’t allow it. I always think I will get back to it and then the rewards expire. I have yet to use any of the rewards it promotes, which is hardly an incentive to use it. By the time you put your credit card in it times out and makes you return to pick another pickup time, then it loses all of your payment details and you have to start over again. On two occasions I had to do this to me three times. The first occasion I just ordered in the store. The second time this happened I just ate somewhere else. I wouldn’t even know how to tell you how to fix this.

4. 1/5Disgusting and unsafe. Don’t eat here!

   I ordered a make your own bowl with steak. However, they gave me steak and shrimp. I am allergic to shrimp. Worse, the shrimp were buried so I could not see them until I had already eaten some noodles. As soon as I saw the shrimp, I immediately stopped eating and became very nauseous (because of my allergy). Customer service will not respond. I had a mild allergic reaction from the cross contamination of the shrimp touching the noodles, and feel too nauseated to ever eat there again. I am not typically a picky eater, but because of my allergy this was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I also ordered other toppings like broccoli and cauliflower, which were not included, but that is a minor issue. It is not about the shrimp. It is about the lack of quality assurance, customer service, and low quality of the establishment. The employees did not seem to understand english, so this may have been part of the problem. Customer service did not even give me a refund. They offered a 10$ off your next purchase coupon, which is pointless because I will never eat there again. Also, the bowl cost over 14 dollars, so it doesn’t even cover the bowl that gave me an allergic reaction.

5. 1/5Most Confusing App

   I hate this app to be honest. It’s not user-friendly whatsoever. There’s so much text that you don’t know what you’re looking at or what you’ve clicked on. The labels are misleading. If you add additional items to your meal you get charged but it doesn’t update the price at the bottom, making it easier to rack up a huge bill without knowing it until you get to the checkout. And it doesn’t tell you that your additional items cost more until you get the itemized email. I feel like this place is way overpriced as well. Certain things like chili flakes or sesame seeds cost 50 cents extra which is outrageous. Has a pizza shop ever charged anyone for chili flakes? No. These are spices. It should come free. Only ordered Honeygrow today because I had a $10 credit. Otherwise, this is my last choice for a place to eat. The food isn’t worth the aggravation.
