1. 5/5Revised! Not quite what I expected

   After using the app on a cross country motorcycle trip, it worked amazingly well! I am very pleased with this app and have already recommended it to other riders. The app is great but seems to not open to the current location without opening the app on the phone, which defeats the purpose. I can do that on any radar app. Still playing with it. ** After changing the location services to always on, it seems to work as I hoped it would.

2. 1/5I’d rather use google maps for free than pay for this garbage

   Let me preface this by saying I travel the entire. East coast of the United States from New Jersey to Florida every three weeks or so, this product was something I was looking for with active radar for weather, however, before we get to that, the navigation aspect of this was useless. It tried it on a smaller trip (600 miles) this past weekend, for starters, the travel time for this 10 hour drive was supposedly only 5 hours, the navigation route line was so small you could barely see it. In addition, one of the turns was for me to bear left towards a state road instead of just staying on the interstate that was also the same road. I could look past all this, but what took the cake was the radar, I had this set for the top active radar that refreshed every two minutes, and while I was going 30 mph below the speed limit for over twenty minutes due to heavy rain, this garbage app stated that the radar was clear with no chance of rain. All the while requiring me to pay for inferior navigation. Stay away!

3. 2/5Works with CarPlay but not always accurate

   As the only radar available for CarPlay at the moment I went ahead and subscribed. However features are limited, no loops, no watch boxes. I planned to use this for CarPlay and rely on my regular apps for better weather information. However, just 3 weeks in and I’m already noticing inaccurate radar. Tonight I was driving from west to east with a strong storm line moving west to east behind me. Just as the storm started to hit me, this app was telling me the storm was 20 miles east of my current position. Meaning the storm was already past me even though it was just catching up to me. A minute later radar said it was behind me. Then a few minutes later it was 20-25 miles in front of me. But never with me as I drove through the storm. Confirmed with two different weather apps that the radar was way off on this app.

4. 3/5Ok, Potential To Be Great

   Just got this app a few days ago and still learning how to work it. PLUSES: -Like how it displays on my “Car Play” screen. Shows it in horizontal/landscape format. -Has great information on weather. -Tested it yesterday on a 100 mile drive and the display of the clouds/storms was very accurate. ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT: -Wish screen rotated with the direction that I’m driving towards instead of always north. -For some reason, a route I did stayed on the map and can’t get that off. -There seems to be some good information like some white arrows pointing to different directions but have no clue what actually means. Also there’s numbrrs on some of the clouds (storm cells) but again don’t know what they represent. I think this app has great potential and I want to stick with them for a year and hope to see some improvements. Can’t remember exactly how much I paid for the full app, somewhere between $35-$40 for a year and it seems fair for a good weather app. One more thing to the web developers, please put up simple to read tutorial on every feature for those of us who paid for the full app. I do recommend this app.

5. 3/5Nice thought, but crippled unless you buy Pro.

   I definitely like the idea of this, and I get it, developers need to make money. I also get that it would be difficult to serve ads here. So it would make sense to remove some features unless you get a pro version. That said, crippling the main feature, just isn’t it. Unless you have the pro version, the radar is delayed by two hours. If you’re using this to track or avoid storms, then that can set you back quite a bit. There has to be a better way than crippling the main feature.
