1. 5/5Best AI Minutes app!

   This app has significantly improved my quality of life. I use Wave to summarize meetings for work, volunteer meetings, lessons I teach (violin/voice), rehearsals, lectures, and even medical discussions. Wave summarizes everything, turns it into plain English that anyone can understand, and separates all the topics with important points, notes, and action items. It also allows me to send recordings (from any time) and import them for the same treatment — recording in the app isn’t required. Wave recognizes voices so you can view a complete transcript later, and you can name the speakers to make reviewing the meeting easy. If there are a lot of speakers, there is sometimes confusion between the voices, but it has never negatively impacted the note summaries (which are the main product). Additionally, you can edit the summaries entirely for accuracy before exporting, and you can export to SO MANY formats, including PDF summaries that look professional enough to share, straight out of the app. On top of all this, I had a minor issue after an Apple update that changed how a feature worked, and the developer responded promptly and perfected the app very quickly. I’ve tried more than a dozen AI notes apps online because as an autistic adult and educator, it is a life-changing enhancement for me, as I would spend countless hours completing the same task on my own.

2. 5/5A job saver!

   I’m just gonna come right out and say it, I am a horrible note taker. The bad part about this is I have a job we’re all I have to do is take notes so that I can fill out reports. I will go to meetings and try to take notes but when I wrote the notes, I didn’t hear what they said, while I was writing a note. I was on Facebook and found this app. I downloaded the app and I used it, and I was amazed at how well it took notes. I was also amazed at how many things I had missed while in the meeting, oh yeah, did I mention I have ADHD. Wave took down the people names, and somehow they were able to tell who is who when they spoke and they would put down the person name and 98 times out of 100 they were correct. don’t forget to read over what they put down because sometimes they do get the names wrong. If you get the free version they only give you 30 minutes a week. No I’m sorry that’s not right 30 minutes a month trust and believe when I say you’re not gonna be able to take down all your notes and 30 minutes so I said go ahead and buy the application. It is well worth it.

3. 5/5Just What I'd Been Looking For!!

   I’d been looking for a couple of years for a note taking app that does what I want. It was exciting a few months ago when Notability added transcription to their audio recording feature. But the transcriptions, while very accurate, were only made available in paragraph chunks. And there was no summary. Then I recently spotted Wave AI Note Taker. Perfect for my needs. Business meetings, doctor appointments, sermons, etc. Thank you so much for what you've created. I know that the early days involve a lot of bug fixes, and I see that you’re updating the app very frequently. Thanks for that too. For the first couple of days after I started using your app, I had trouble getting to sleep, because I was thinking of all the different ways I could use it. In some settings, it can be a little intimidating for the person I’m meeting with to realize that I’m recording the meeting. So I typically just use Voice Memos on my Apple Watch to do the initial recording. After the meeting, I share the audio file over to Wave for the transcript and summary. Anyhow, I could go on and on. I just really appreciate your app. Great job!!!

4. 5/5Note Taking Magic

   Wow…this is a magical app! I work with an offshore IT team and sometimes the English accents are tough to understand. Wave knows exactly what they are saying and summarizes every discussion succinctly. The AI summaries also capture key points I may have missed or interpreted incorrectly so it serves as a second level review after each meeting is completed. I jumped on subscribing after the first recording since I can no longer function without it. It was worth every penny! Also, it’s already saved me twice in two days. I can now focus on the conversation instead of the distraction of scribing notes I often can’t interpret later. I honestly don’t know how I functioned without it.

5. 3/5Good app with room for improvement

   3 stars. The app does pretty much exactly what it promises — recording conversations and generating summaries — and overall it works well for that purpose. The summaries are useful, and I’ve found it helpful overall. That said, there’s definitely room for improvement. The biggest issue for me is the audio playback experience. There’s no good rewind or fast-forward functionality, no playback speed options, and overall the listening experience feels pretty basic. If you actually want to go back and review recordings later, those features would make a huge difference. It also occasionally gets names wrong in the summaries/transcripts, although that’s usually a smaller issue for me compared to the audio controls. Another frustrating issue is how sensitive it seems to internet connection changes. If your phone switches between Wi-Fi and cellular, or if the connection briefly drops, the recording can disconnect very easily. Then you have to reconnect, merge notes together, and sometimes you miss important parts of the conversation. So overall: good app, useful concept, and it does what it says — but the audio playback tools and connection stability really need improvement.
