1/5Best Bank Acct. Balance App
I hardly use apps for anything, but we have so many bank and credit card accounts that I was getting tired of balancing them all the old fashioned way, and wasting so much paper. I finally decided to try some apps, and downloaded about 4-5 of them. This one is sooo user friendly and easy. I love that I can see my balance in any given acct. instantly when I open it. The ONLY downfall I have had in the year that I have been using it is that every once in a while, when I try to do a transfer from one acct to another, the app crashes. Note:this is not an ACTUAL transfer of funds, it’s just an easier way of making a note that your funds have been transferred in your actual bank acct. instead of writing it as a withdrawal from one account and then doing a deposit of the same amount in a different account, you’re just switching the money between accts. Having the ability to do that transfer is a fantastic perk, as we switch money around monthly, but I could never tell when exactly the app would crash. I THINK I finally figured out that it is when I try to transfer from a checking acct to a credit card acct. (as a way to say that I have made a payment). I guess that makes sense since they are opposite type accounts, but instead of crashing, I wish it would just let you know that that feature isn’t available. Also, I used the app the entire year with my transactions going in descending order, and I had to scroll soo far down to get to my place in the record, until my husband thought it was weird and found the button that allowed you to toggle it to ascending order, now it’s even better! I honestly can’t say enough about this app. It is one of only 3 apps that I use and LOVE on a DAILY basis. I have long since deleted the other apps, as they were not as user friendly to use.

4/5app is almost perfect
the devs have done a great job at designing g an app that is simple, with no linking to your bank or tracking your spending habits and stuff. i don’t have any need for that. i just want a running balance, and this fits the bill perfectly. HOWEVER: it could be improved just slightly by adding a search option. it would be excellent if i could search by date, amount, or keyword. the reason for this is that i accidentally hit the year roller to “2023”. so the transaction disappeared waaaayyyyyyy down to the june of 2023. i’ve been using this app for 2-ish years, so there’s THOUSANDS of transactions, and it’s not possible to scroll back through all of them. so i had to add a a fake deposit to compensate for the transaction i lost. this would have been so much easier to fix if i could just search for the transaction amount, the date that i accidentally banished it to, or “etsy.” other than that, everything’s great

4/5Good, Accurate Bank Account Register
I’ve been using Wallet Balance for many years to budget and keep track of purchases/transactions I make using my debit/checking account as well as other bank accounts. I like that I can keep track of multiple accounts at once, I have the option of viewing cleared transactions or not, and it’s simple to use. I didn’t give this app a 5 because users cannot view the app on multiple devices. I keep it on my phone for ease of use to record transactions when making purchases/deposits, etc. But I would really like to be able to view the app and my transactions on my laptop when reconciling against my online bank statements as well. There is no login/security on the app itself which I presume is the reason for no multiple devices.

5/5Clear | Concise | User Friendly
As a contractor to several entities, I needed an app that was clean, clear, and concise, without a million bells and whistles that I’d never use. I needed an app where I could enter my monthly receivables, forecast payments, and track whether payments have or have not cleared. If like me you don’t need another app that’s connected to your financial institutions, this is the one! I can credit payments and debit expenses to know month-to-month where my money is coming from, and where it’s going to. This app does the simple math (with ease) that I need to stay on top of my small business. You can use the free version but it’s totally worth the $1.99 to go ad free!

5/5Aggravating
I purchased the app for $1.99 because of all the good reviews. I added my first entry on my iPhone XS Max and the fields do not clear. Every time I make a new entry you have to clear each field because the very first entry keeps repeating. I downloaded the free version on my iPad Pro and it works fine... when you make a new entry all the fields are blank like they should be. I do not understand what is going on but I would not buy the paid version... not just because of this issue but also because the paid version does not carry over from one device to the other. Why doesn’t my paid version automatically roll over from my iPhone to my iPad???
