1. 1/5Requires you to accept marketing emails

   After downloading the app and providing an email address, the app asks you to go through all your countries you’ve visited. Only afterward do they present you with the EULA acceptance and marketing opt in. The app will not allow you to create an account unless you “opt in” to their marketing emails! This should not be required- EULAs yes, but marketing emails no. Any app that is requiring users to receive their promotional/marketing emails in order to create an account is a red flag. I chose to delete my account rather than proceed with this forced marketing acceptance. Would hope App Stores look into this as it violates consumer privacy rights to disallow opt-out from marketing emails.

2. 1/5Updated Wiped 3+ Years of Data — Lifetime Member Ignored by Support

   I’ve been a paid Lifetime member since 2023. A recent app update logged me out, and after following the prompt to create a password, my entire travel history (all saved countries, cities, and maps) was completely wiped. While "Restore Purchase" brought back my Lifetime status, my map remains 100% blank because the app created a duplicate profile that disconnected my original Apple ID data. I submitted a support request on July 30th with full technical details (device, app version, user ID) and sent a follow-up on Monday. It has now been over 72 hours with zero response from support. Losing years of meticulously logged travel data due to a buggy update is bad enough, but complete radio silence for paying Lifetime members is unacceptable. I will happily update this review once support responds and merges my original data, but until then, beware of losing your travel history with no customer support to fix it.

3. 5/5I WANTED to like it!

   I wanted to like it, but too frequently, I click on the App and Its prompting me to re-enter everything: where I've travelled, where I live and desired destinations ... ALL OVER AGAIN!!! Soooooo frustrating! And quite frankly, it doesn't DO ALL that much!!! You choose the countries, the states, if you live in the US, some color selections and that's it!!!! That's all you have to input!!! So, Why can't it retain that little information???? And in return it displays where you've been displayed on a world map, the percentage of the world you've seen and where you rank amongst other users. So you know want to know where this APP Ranks??? A (2)!!! Visiting new destinations is supposed to be exciting! How is that reflected in this App? What is the point if you're more frustrated using this app than going through TSA!

4. 5/5Essential travel app

   Every traveler should have this app to track countries visited. I’ve been using it for a few years now and seen it progress in features and usability. I love the latest enhancements, particularly new countries with states. But there are additional enhancements that I’d like the developers to consider. Here are my top 3: 1. Small countries are really hard to see on the map right now. Can you make it easier? For example, Liechtenstein gets lost between all of the states. And Pitcairn is nearly impossible, at least for me, to find without using the search feature. 2. Dates of visit would be nice 3. Ability to export the list to a spreadsheet. Bugs? There are a couple but nothing really significant, e.g. South Georgia and South Sandwich are not in Europe. There may have been a conversion bug as my list of countries went from 60 to 58. I reviewed and updated it and it’s now back to 60. Overall, a great app, worthy of of 5 stars!

5. 3/5Some good features

   The interface of this app is pretty easy to use, and I like that you can customize the colors you use for the map. I haven’t paid for any of the features, so I can only unlock the regions for the US and Canada. My biggest issue is that you can only have one country/state selected as the place where you live. I’m in the military and have lived all over the world, so I would like to be able to see that, rather than having those places listed as having visited. It would also be nice to be able to view the states within a country as a map, not just as a list.
